The condo was perfect for our stay. Very clean, comfortable, and great location. Highly recommend !

Everything about this property was wonderful. The view is even much better than the picture and the lenai was very quiet and private. The beach is beautiful and great for swimming. We couldn't get over how spectacular the grounds were. This is a great location for exploring all areas of the island. The unit is clean and comfortable and communication with the owners was excellent. Would definitely recommend, and if we ever get back to Kauai we'll stay here again.

Condo was in a great location, with all the amenities:). The A/C was also very nice. There was a torrential rain storm/flash flood on our last night that unfortunately flooded the bottom section of the resort…but we were lucky on the top floor! Would recommend:)

This property was perfect for our family with two active boys. The short walk through the beautifully manicured property was a breeze to access the beach. Hours and hours were spent enjoying the sand and sun, surfing, and playing in the waves. Access to the Poipu Athletic Club was excellent for Pickleball, basketball and using the pool. So convenient. When we were spent from all the fresh air, the condo was clean and comfortable to relax. We loved the lanai for having coffee and playing cards. We would definitely rent again!

We enjoyed our time at Kiahuna Plantation. The property amenities are fantastic, including access to Poipu Athletic Club. I loved the beach area and beautiful grassy lawn with lounge chairs. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Thank you!

The beach is wonderful for swimming and watching both sunsets and surfers. The grounds around the Kiahuna Plantation are beautiful and well looked after. The unit was exactly as described and kitchen was well stocked with everything that you need. Hosts are very helpful and quick to respond to any questions that you may have. Hope to return.

The view is fabulous off the deck! The kitchen is well stocked to cook..The BIGGY was the hide a bed; Always expecting a bar in your back right?! NOPE! This upgraded mattress in the living room hide a bed is fabulous! So comfortable! I slept 8 nights on it... just so you know! And there is air-co for good sleeping temp at night if needed. The access to the Athletic club across the street was really nice, the 'beach' pool with sand and plenty of umbrellas and chairs, has a bar and grill, happy hours and music fri-sun evenings... we walked everywhere, so nice.

Amazing! Especially with kids

We had a lovely time in Poipu! Jack & Susan are wonderful hosts. They are quick to respond and helpful. Their place is in the best location on the island with easy access to roads that take you anywhere you want to go and a short walk to the beach. The bed is very comfortable and the unit has everything one could need. It was very clean and perfect for our island get away.

The listing is exactly what you get. A comfortable, clean, and quite spacious retreat near all of the excitement in Poipu. The AC works wonderfully - between that in the living room and the fan in the room the temperature was very comfortable. The condo has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the balcony with a partial ocean view and the high, architectural ceiling. The hosts were very communicative and luckily we had everything we needed for our stay so didn’t need to bother them at all! I HIGHLY recommend checking out the athletic club which you will have access to. Top tier gym, amazing pool for the family, and there is food and drink service. The condo is steps away from Poipu beach and a short drive from shops and restaurants. We will would definitely stay again!

The hosts were very kind and responsive. The office staff at check in was easy and we appreciated how quiet the property was. We LOVED how they offer all the necessities for an amazing time at the beach. We ran into some big housekeeping concerns, some tech issues with TV and wet carpets from recent carpet cleaning but the hosts were very gracious about the entire situation. The condo would have been perfect if we didn’t need to spend so much time inside due to unforeseen medical problems. I was able to utilize the gym across the main road and that was amazing!

We really enjoyed staying here! Close to some really fun beaches and restaurants. The apartment has a nice selection of cookwares to make some meals. We would stay here again.

This was everything we were looking for. The condo itself was nice with a view of the ocean in the distance, and well stocked with beach chairs and other items. A short walk to the beach, to the pool/workout club across the street, and a cute coffee shop. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality.

What an gem in the Po'ipu area. This condo has everything you need to make your stay pleasant: Full kitchen with all the essentials? Check! Fully stocked bathroom? Check! Comfortable bedroom with ample storage space? Check! Beach chairs, umbrella, hats and water toys? Check! High privacy with stunning views from the lanai? Check! BBQ grills? Check! You also get access to Po'ipu athletic club which is a short walk across the property or a super quick drive. Beach towels are provided via a kiosk in the middle of the complex and you can exchange them as much as needed. And the beach is only a 7-8 minute walk away. Another aspect we appreciated was the air conditioning. While opening all the louvers and the door to the lanai (we kept the screen closed at all times) allowed the trade breezes in and kept the unit comfortable most of the day, the AC was welcome when going to sleep, or the couple of days when the humidity was high and the breezes low, and once when there was maintenance work right outside the property. The bedroom does not have its own AC but the living room unit is more than plenty to keep the bedroom cool. Should you find issues, call management and they will address them immediately. The owners also communicate to make sure everything is running smoothly and are open to feedback. I had arranged this trip as a surprise for my wife and the owners took the time to write her a personal welcome note. Thank you so much, Susan and Jack, for such an amazing place.

Beautiful view of the ocean, with gorgeous tree off of the balcony. Very private and quiet.

Fun area and the condo was clean with a full kitchen and comfy bed.

We totally enjoyed our time at Jack and Susan's place. It was our second visit to Kauai and the Poipu Beach area is definitely the best place to be. The hosts were very responsive to all requests and the balcony overlooking the ocean was the perfect place for both morning coffee and evening cocktails :-). As mentioned in other reviews, the bedroom does get warm, although the fans certainly help. However, the location can't be beat- was very sad to leave!!!

Great location and great place, highly recommended

This property is well maintained and stocked well with most amenities, but you will need cooking items like seasonings and oil. So, we grilled instead. Quieter unit at the far edge of the property. Owners were good communicators and made it easy.

The unit is okay. It has AC. Since it is on the top flloor without that it will be very warm. But the building is old and need some upgrade( broken light fixtures in the bathroom and flickering lights in the bed room) . This unit is the farthest from the beach.

Incredible property and great unit with an ocean view! Walk to the Sheraton pool restaurant/ bar, across the street to the best coffee and açaí bowls, and the amazing athletic club pool and restaurant! Hosts offered to reimburse us for a new beach umbrella when we realized a previous guest hadn’t returned it which was incredibly kind! Would love to stay again.

Enjoyed the view fromvthe lanai, short walk to the beach where you could snorkel, surf, swim or just relax. Walked to beach in the evening for sunset and moonrise. Condo was well equipped, although we only cooked breakfast and one dinner as to buy all the ingredients, spices, oil, etc was just easier to eat out. A/C is in living area so bedroom can bea little stuffy whereas living area was quite chilly. Perfer fresh air so only used it for sleeping.

Great Location located with in a very short walk to a well maintained beach with a excellent surfing and snorkeling opportunities. The condo was well stocked for those looking to do an extended stay.

One of the best vacations we have ever taken. We didnt spend a whole lot of time in the room other than eating a quick meal and sleeping. We knew that is how it would be. It is small but has a relaxing balcony. I didnt realize the pool is actually across the street when I booked. It didnt bother us though because we only spent one afternoon there, we preferred other activities. We enjoyed staying on the southside of the island this time. Would recommend for a small family with young kids or a couple!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay - the place was clean, Jack and Susan communicated well, and it was an easy walk to the pool across the street (or you can drive up, there's plenty of parking) and easy walk to the beach. The beach has a sidewalk that leads to other beaches including Poipu Beach and Brennecke's. Night one of our stay we walked down to Poipu Beach and saw 1 monk seal basking in the sun, and 2 sea turtles. We also were able to travel around the island - we drove about 40 mins to Waimea Canyon, about 45 mins to the Wailua River on the east side for kayaking/hiking, and about 1.5 hours total to the North Side near Hanalei for hiking and exploring up there. If you're looking to enjoy the beautiful beach and have everything you need within walking distance, it was a fantastic stay. The only thing I will note - the A/C unit is not in the bedroom, so we used the provided fan to help blow the cold air to us - we were not hot doing this and had no issues. Also, I requested new towels/wash cloths on day 4 of our stay, but was told no as this unit does not utilize the cleaning services of the Kiahuna Plantation - I did not contact Jack and Susan about this since we were leaving on day 5 anyway, but something to note if you are travelling with more than two people and need more supplies.

Needs a lot of work

We enjoyed our stay in this condo ! The views of the ocean and tropical foliage were gorgeous. We liked the location on the outer edge of Kiahuna . It was quiet. We loved going to Little Fish Coffee , which was nearby . Poipu Beach was just a 10 min walk. The furnishings in the condo were very comfortable .

Amazing place with very comfortable bed. All amenities available to make an easy stay with perfect location ten min walk from beach. Enjoyed patio area with nice view of ocean. Lawn area available to guests is amazing place to watch sunset right on the beach. We enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely be back
