Location and house were centrally located to all the activities, restaurants and places we wanted to visit. My family had a wonderful time!

The property had everything we needed for a very comfortable trip. Enjoyed our stay!

Our family dearly enjoyed our vacation at the "Lure of the Lake" property. The home is nestled on a wooded lot that provides a sense of isolation from other homes in the community. There's rarely a moment throughout the day wherein deer are not visible from the home's abundant windows. The community boat dock, at which we moored our boat, is a short 1/4 mile walk (there's also parking available). The indoor community pool is also an even closer walk. The home is well-appointed, comfortable, and quiet. Although all of our VRBO experiences over the years have been positive, this experience was exceptional! The homeowners were wonderful in their support of our visit (thank you both)!

We were extremely pleased with the home, it’s comforts, anything you needed….plenty to enjoy from the hot tub, to the fire pit, to the large game room and the comfortable cozy living room perfect for games, puzzles and hanging out looking at the wildlife. We look forward to coming back again!

The house was beautiful and was perfect for our group. The owners were amazing and provided information from the time we booked to the day of our arrival. Even took pictures of roasting pans since we were preparing our Thanksgiving meal there. Looking forward to going back.

The house was very nice. The only issue is getting in the house. A railing for stepping up would be helpful.

Although some of my six brothers and sisters have rented homes for thier vacation, myself and my wife have not. We did not know what to expect, it was beyond our expectations. The brothers and sisters were in agreement. I have a few sisters that are really, I mean really into cleanliness, they were pleasantly pleased. Because of this fantastic "Lure of the Lake" experience, we will begin an annual Get-a-Way at various resort areas. But, if we return to the Deep Creek area, it will be to "Lure of the Lake". Thank you once again Cindy and Sean for the use of you beautiful home.

We spent a week with our family and couldn’t be happier with the location and the home. The location just across from the community center was ideal for our grandkids to swim and run off some energy. Location to the dock slip was ideal. Great hosts and very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend renting this home for a family vacation. We certainly will be!!

This house will check all of the boxes you look for. A big beautiful house with plenty of room for large families. A slip at the dock just down the street for the boat, a fire pit, a hot tub, a theatre room, a gas grill for cookouts, plenty of parking and surrounded by nature with deer walking right through the yard. If that's not enough, you also have access to the community center with a great indoor pool which came in handy for the kids on the day it rained. We booked this house based on the reviews and rightfully so, it did not disappoint. Sean & Cindy maintain an extremely clean home with all the attention to details and amenities included. The kitchen had all the items you would expect in your own kitchen plus plenty of seating for the family meals. The beds and linens were comfortable and spacious, family room with plenty of seating for everyone where you can watch nature through the walls of windows. The hosts are very responsive and it shows they care for their home as well as their guests and the experience. My family is already looking forward to returning next year. This was truly the perfect rental experience for our family.

I hesitate to say how wonderful this place is, because, I'm afraid that someone will take my place next year. But...this rental is the best home I have ever styed in. The proprietor, Sean, was excellent. Everything listed on the website was top quality, and the house was so clean we were immediately comfortable. The individual living spaces were extremely roomy, the furniture and decorations were high quality, the game room had something for every age group, the outside was big enough for the younger kids to play games in, the covered porch was large enough for everyone, and the hot tub outside was my best friend. The nightly camp fires were wonderful. This was the first time my whole family vacationed as a group, and all loved the house and all it offered. I hope to get to go back next year and make even more great memories. Thank you Sean.

Owners have paid attention to every detail and everything you need seems to be provided. Only thing you need to bring our towels and soap,shampoo. Our large family and enough space every where and the community pool was wonderful on a rainy day.

The pictures do not do the house justice -it is much larger and very nice. The house was very clean and well stocked. It is located in a very nice community with easy access to the lake. Highly recommended for your next vacation getaway.

I absolutely loved the property and would definitely return. It was by far the cleanest place we have stayed during Covid and that alone won me over. I also agree with the others the pictures do not do it justice.

As others have stated, pictures don't due the house justice! The house is beautiful, well-equipped, and immaculate! It's evident that attention was given to every detail. Everything is labeled for easy use and clear instructions are provided on how to use amenities. This house had something for everyone in our family which included a range of ages from 8-73! (Great game, book and movie selection, game room, theater, hot tub, community pool, deer frequently roaming through the back yard, etc) I misunderstood the listing....the house did not have a lake view as I thought... but it's a very short walk away. And the deer were much more entertaining than the lake would've been on a snowy weekend! We didn't think to bring hand towels for the bathrooms but were glad to have lots rolls of paper towels along....be sure to bring something to dry your hands on! Overall, a perfect weekend in an amazing house! The greatest compliment is that my hard-to-please, Eeyore-like, father said at least 10 times: "This house is awesome!" :) Thank you Sean and Cindy for sharing your beautiful home

The kitchen was VERY well stocked, organized and all around wonderful. The Great Room has a beautiful window, we watched the snow fall for 2 days, it was gorgeous. The basement, WOW!!! Very spacious, the theater seating was great, the pool table and foosball table were in fantastic condition and so fun. Let me just say, the pictures DO NOT do the home justice. The owner took such great care of us, even got the driveway plowed for us before we departed due to all of the snow we received during our visit. I would 100% recommend this house for a any occasion !!!

First off the pictures do not do the house justice! We stayed for the week of Thanksgiving. The owners were easy to get a hold of but we had no issues with the property. There were deer every morning that could be seen while sitting in the kitchen or living room. The game room/movie room was a blast playing with the kids and then to watch some Christmas movies with everyone. The area was quiet this time of year. We hiked Swallow Falls, and went into town to the honi honi bar. Plenty of space for the 7 of us and plenty of comfy beds as well. We would definitely come back again if the Sean and his wife would have us. Thank you for helping us make a great family vacation.
