Stayed for Thanksgiving. We had a blast. The house had everything we needed. We hope to be back.

Hi. This is the second time we have stayed in Moonstone. The property is on a quiet end of the beach and far less crowded. We had a couple of glitches while there (gas grill didn't have gas) and previous renters have scratched the poor floors with the kitchen stools. However, those were minor issues that did not effect our ability to relax and enjoy ourselves. The next door neighbors caught two great big red fish. So, if you want to surf fish, this is the place!

Great location right on the beach with very little traffic. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Definitely recommend and will stay again. Our only issue was the TV in the living room locking up constantly.

Everything was lovely. The house was so incredibly clean and the kitchen was well equipt. Beach access was GREAT!

What a super cute beach cabin right on the water. The location couldn't be better, literally just a few steps from the beach. The home was well maintained and had tons of kitchen supplies. The only thing I can recommend is to bring some extra towels and all your shampoo / body wash items. We were super please and highly recommend this unit to anyone.

We really loved this property. The rooms were huge. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Even laundry pods! Beds were comfy. Walk right on to the beach. We had our teenage boys and my 71 year old mother and all enjoyed. Definitely will stay again!

Really had a great time staying here. The weather was perfect. A few things to know, in advance..It is a great place to spend a vacation. Easy access to the beach, the house is very nice..Here is what could be improved / need to know..Lots of stairs. guest bathroom will not lock. Faucet in guest bath need replacing. It leaks. The nightlight in the guest bath broke and shocked the crap out of my wife. Just a really bad night light. Traffic noise..Take a fan to mask the road noise at night. Thousands of mosquitos in the downstairs rinse / bath. They will attack you so fast..They also fill you car when you are loading to go somewhere..The blinds on the entry door are falling off. Your property was just what we needed - relaxing downtime with the family and pets. The house was lovely and well-equipped with everything we needed.

Wonderful

Our stay was great. Our only issue was with the living roomTV. It lost it's internet connection more than once. After maintenance came and unplugged it and replugged it, it worked for a day then we had to do it again.

The property was excellent in its location and accommodations. Spent a lot of time on the large deck just enjoying the cool ocean breeze. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Our pets also enjoyed the grass area which made it very nice for their needs. Will be coming back to stay.

Crystal Beach has always been near and dear to my heart. My family has been spending 7-10 days there every summer for the past 11 yrs. We stayed at Moonstone last year and it was phenomenal! This time I was a bit disappointed in the condition and cleanliness of the home. I had to sweep the floors upon arrival. Mold and mildew in both showers/tubs. Food splatters on wall by trashcan, the cooktop and some of the cabinets. Clusters of bugs on the ceiling. The master bath shower curtain wasn’t long enough so water would leak onto the floor (we used one of our personal beach towels on the floor to help mitigate some of that. Inside some of the kitchen cabinets were spilled spices. At the end of the day, none of this stopped us from enjoying a fabulous 4th of July week. If the owner/management company would invest in a better cleaning crew as well as some usual maintenance (paint touch ups; better linens; toilet that doesn’t constantly run) we’d FOR SURE make Moonstone our home away from home. It has a great floor plan; spacious family area and the location is FANTASTIC!! I pray that the above mentioned can be addressed so that we can book our 2023 Summer vacay there again.

This was a good property. The parking underneath is very tight and they are correct no more than 4 vehicles can park there. We brought a golf cart and a 4 wheeler so it was hard navigating the trailers so I wouldn’t recommend this place If you are planning to bring those items. The sand beach access was very thick with sand which made it hard to walk through(easy fix) just not good to get the cart on and off the beach and then next access is a little bit down the road so not too convenient. But it was perfect for a peaceful quiet getaway. We have never stayed on the front row so it was an awesome experience and loved the deck to just sit and watch the ocean and chill. I would stay again but I wouldn’t bring the extra riding things.

Upon entering our rental, we were pleasantly surprised at the "feeling of home" and the cleanliness of the property. The beds were very comfortable, linens were good quality. A/c worked well, ice maker provided plenty of ice, dishes and utensils were easy to locate , with also some plasticware for use outside. Loved this house!

This was our 2nd year to come to moonstone. I'm sure we will be staying be staying here for many years to come! Great location great house great everything!

We loved staying at the Moonstone and being right on the beach was so nice! Our family had a great time. The house was very nice, clean, and welcoming. The only thing I would change about the house is there were no locks on the bathroom doors. There was a bathroom in the master bedroom which you could indirectly lock by locking the master bedroom door. Then there was a main hallway bathroom with a sliding door with no lock. With a toddler, this was a problem. Since the door had no lock, she could slide it open when people were in the bathroom. That being said, we loved the house and the location and would definitely stay here again! I would just suggest they add locks to the bathroom doors.

Enjoyed the closeness to the ocean. Only complaint is the road noise from the hwy directly behind the house.

Comfy property with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. You can hear some traffic but I suspect that is true in a lot of houses in this area.

Our family enjoyed everything about our stay. House was welcoming, clean, and right on the beach.

Moonstone was a wonderful home with all a home would need to make our trip beautiful! We will definetly be returning. A Perfect short vacation!

Beautiful beachfront home. Steps away from the ocean. Lots of shells along the beach if you like to beachcomb. The house was nicely decorated, very clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely loved it!

First trip to Galveston area. The home was gorgeous and the beach so peaceful. We walked for hours and hours. One of the best beach vacations we have ever had.

We’ve been fortunate enough to have stayed in many homes on the peninsula over the years and I was thrilled with Moonstone! It is my new favorite! The home is beautifully decorated with such comfortable finishes. You step off the downstairs patio area to the beach. No crowds, the beach doesn’t feel like a busy roadway. It was heavenly. Thank you to such a responsive host! I’d love to come back!

A beautiful house RIGHT on the water with everything you need for a great getaway.

Loved the house and bedroom setup. Always looking for 2 kings and great to have 2 queens in the 3rd room. Bedroom's are roomy and a nice size.

Loved the family time with the grandchildren watching the sunrise and sunset.

We loved the house and location! It was a great weekend!
