Perfect place to unwind. Location was ideal to enjoy walk along the shore line without having anyone else present.

Great place with lake views and easy access. Place had everything we needed!

We stayed here two nights. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to accommodate a larger group. The guys in our group enjoyed the pool table in the garage, and there was also a poker and blackjack table. It was older recreational stuff but served it’s purpose. The deck areas were amazing and we were right in the lake so it was convenient to walk down. The only negative I have is that we are big coffee drinkers and the coffee maker didn’t work well. I suggested replacing the coffee maker, super cheap for a nice place or even getting a Keurig.

The property was very nice. It is an older home but well maintained. Well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and all you need for a pleasant stay. The deck overlooking the lake is great, we spent a lot of time out on the deck. The beds were OK. The coffee pot was extremely slow, took almost an hour to brew a full pot. Luckily, they have a nice insulated coffee carafe to keep the 1st pot hot while immediately brewing the next pot. The place is an hour from San Antonio, Wimberly, and other points of interest, so it is very convenient. Nice quiet street, with no issues with noisy neighbors. The Lowes grocery store is about 15 minutes away for shopping. Some not so minor nits... The 1st morning none of the outlets in the kitchen worked. It took me a few minutes to get the GFI outlets re-set and working. They should have been checked by the cleaning crew to make sure the house was ready for guests. We could not watch the main living room TV. Football season with rabid college fans and we could not get the TV to work. It was set to AV input for playing movies and we could not get the input changed for the TV. I texted the owner, and got no help at all. There were also NO instructions for changing the programming. Not good. We had to move the watch party into the master bedroom and watch on the smaller screen. Owner needs to make up good directions for the TV, and needs to be more responsive to questions and problems. Without these issues the rating would be a solid 5. Overall, I would recommend the place based on location and lake views.

This house was perfect for our family. 6 adults 2 kids & 2 babies. All the drawers in the kitchen are labeled which was a huge help navigating while cooking. The lake is a 2 minute walk away which was awesome. The house has everything you could possibly need even a rocking recliner to help us put the babies to sleep and a crib in the room. Very nice deck too for morning coffee.

Playa del sol provided the perfect backdrop for a great family vacation!

Our group of friends had a good time at this property. Overall it could use some sprucing up, but met our needs, and we were comfortable enough. Lake access was beautiful, but would have loved having some shade and seating (like neighboring properties) to sit by the water. Coffee pot needs to be replaced. Spiders and wasps could be addressed - granted its early summer in Texas, but would have been nice. The view of the lake from the back deck was amazing. I would suggest bringing your own pillows - they were all very flat. Satellite on the TV didn’t work - no content was available - but we didn’t come for TV anyway. We had a great time and had what we needed to enjoy ourselves, just not a five star property.

Fun 4 day trip with our adult kids and young grandchildren. The home was beautiful,spacious and clean. The views were stunning and the sunsets were awesome. Kitchen was well stocked equipment wise and labeled very well. Loved having private bedrooms and bathrooms.We could walk right into the lake out back. We fished,kayaked(brought our own)and swam.53 stair steps to the back yard.Sturdy safe stairs with frequent landings not a problem for us. Beautiful BIG deck with nice gas grill and shade. We will be back.

This house is so beautiful. The lake is only a walk down the stairs. It is so quiet and peaceful.

The house was PERFECT for our family vacation...gorgeous view, incredibly spacious, and clean. 3 1/2 bathrooms was a huge bonus. When we return to the hill country, we will definitely be booking here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Canyon Lake area. The view was very relaxing and throw in wonderful cool weather. It was perfect place to recharge and reconnect with love ones. We had a wonderful time. The best part it was only a couple hours drive from home.

I was disappointed that a pool ball was missing. Its very hard to play 8 ball with ball missing. All the sticks were broken except for 1.But everything else with house was Great. We had a wonderful time

Family really enjoyed this home for the weekend. It supplied all your necessities, pool table, deck, plenty of beds and awesome lake views! Thumbs up 👍🏼

The view from the bedroom balcony was wonderful. The house was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pool table as well. I will recommend this place to my friends.

We went there for a family gathering. Property location is perfect and having lake access is amazing, one can have a silent moments and get relaxed on beautiful deck and listen to the waves on lake at the shore. Floor plan for property was nice and good fit for our family of 9. Families and kids go their own space. Kids enjoyed Netflix movies (available on property) and beautiful outdoors. We made good memories to carry. Only small things which we were not satisfied with - property can be cleaner. Restrooms were clean, but the small things like hand soap was diluted with water. Found one big roach during our stay in bedroom (it could have crawled down from outside when we kept the patio door open though), so not putting that on property. But overall we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend this without any hesitance.

We really loved our stay here! The house was the perfect size for our family and was clean and well equipped! You can't beat the view of the lake from the deck, as well as the wildlife that visited us nightly (deer and even a fox!). We used the house as a base for exploring San Antonio, Austin, and the Hill Country, and it was perfect. We were out of the city but easy driving distance to everything we wanted to do. We did have one minor issue with the freezer while we were there, and SkyRun was very quick to come out and fix it. Communication via text was great and convenient. We'd definitely stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the large deck with the great view of the lake and the late afternoon visits of the deer. We spent most of our afternoons swimming in the lake (bring water shoes). We found everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this house and it is as fantastic! The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the equipment we would need and the view is just spectacular. Lake access is great and the home was spotless when we arrived. We’ll definitely stay here again!

We have a VRBO rental property of our own so we are slightly more critical than some. The property was exceptionally clean, kitchen well-stocked, pictures of property were accurate, comfy beds & provided extra linens for beds. We did have a few issues: a big prob the garage door and water in a bathroom due to tons of rain within a very short period of time. Both issues were reported to the management company & immediately acknowledged. Although minor inconveniences, none of this affected our stay. The quick response of the management company plays a huge role in this property being awesome! Stuff to bring: a canopy for hanging out on the shore, collapsible chairs, water shoes, air pump for floats, bug spray...I was the only 1 out of 10 ppl that eaten alive by chiggers. I didn't spray myself either & had no idea I was bite until I was covered in welts the next day. Lesson learned. Stairs to the lake are long and the rest of the walk and not suitable for some.

Great views, comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen all made for a wonderful stay at Canyon Lake. We swam at the small beach in front of the property (a long walk down and up-not for the faint of heart!), we rented a pontoon boat from nearby Cranes Mill, and enjoyed dinners over in nearby Gruene. A very nice vacation!

A group of 10 of us stayed here, friends with no kids. The place was great for a weekend getaway, with a pool table, beach access to the lake (bring water shows, sharp rocks!), fantastic views and sunsets, and ample parking. Highly recommend this place! We may be back in the future :)

Overall was a good rental for our needs. We had one person on a walker and the house worked out quite well. The only issue I would comment on is that the door knob on the door that exited to the garage was installed too close to the frame and several of us ended up slamming our fingers in the door. Door needs to be replaced.

We loved being able to get to the water easily! House was very organized, had everything we needed!

The house was lovely and view of the lake was good. Tree tops blocked some view. The 55 steps straight up from the lake area is not for the faint of heart! I only booked this location because of nearness of boat ramp. We were not told boat ramp 7 is closed. The street into the area is narrow and Very curvy. Getting to nearest ramp was time consuming. The ad says sleeps 10. We had 2 couples, 2 single men and a child. One man had private bedroom, the other slept on couch with no privacy. There was no space to set up a rollway bed. The kitchen was nice and had everything needed. Having a washer and dryer was great. My suggestion is to clean out garage/ game room add cooling to make that space usable for sleeping. Overall we enjoyed our stay even though it was a little too pricey.

This home is perfect! Everything needed is included! The view is breathtaking! I will definitely stay here again and I can’t wait for it!

Great getaway! The view was beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely come back. Kids had fun getting in the water. Recommend water shoes....the rocks were a bit sharp.

We had a great 4 day weekend with our grown children, perfect escape!

Our Dinner Club enjoys a long weekend getaway each fall, and we've visited all over TX. This was unanimously our fav home to date! From the booking process, super friendly and helpful team during check into the home itself = Large open kitchen/living area made for great conversation, cooking and laughter...although all of our meals were enjoyed on the amazing deck with a picture perfect view of the lake! All the deck furniture was greatly appreciated! Home was clean, well stocked and obviously cared for! Only thing missing during our cool early autumn trip was a fire pit :) We had a wonderful time and loved every minute of our stay, we look forward to coming back again soon! We have stayed on this same street before, so we knew the neighborhood, the local businesses, and even the waterfront! So no surprises there, except we had an even better view of the lake and an EASY walk in right into the water for swimming, paddle boards, kayak, jet ski, boat, etc. Kids loved the pool table (got them off their cell phones and tv!), the devil has a great view and lots of shade. The house is so roomy, large bedrooms, open kitchen and living with big windows looking out to lake. It’s an older floor plan, but well maintained and updated where needed: bathrooms, kitchen, WiFi and TV, nice grill outside, some water toys in garage, etc. We’d be happy to return again!
