*Arrive to dirty condo. No slip for boat as described. Cleaned condo ourselves. Day2*Owner agreed to credit cleaning fee & 1 night for inconvenience Day3*Owner overbooked & says we need to move at her expense *Move to 2nd dirty condo Jun23 Ask when we can expect credit. Owner claims she owes nothing & renigs on 1 night credit, says we owe cleaning fee for 2nd condo & $100 for (not) missing parking pass. Says we are unreasonable & demanding even though we’ve been very empathetic of her predicaments. Condo Flaws: Dishwasher does not clean & bed in front bedrm needs replacing. Prev reviews also complain about this. Owner blamed us for last minute booking as to why condo not clean. We refused her offer to have Cleaning Co come Mon morning bc we needed clean sheets & bathrooms that night. Delayed start to vacation due to laundry, cleaning & finding a solution for our boat. “Boat slip rental is $10/day", but reservation is needed well in advance for only 1 available slip. Won't even allow you to tie up briefly at dock. Best option was O'Neils Marina for almost $200/week, an expense & inconven we weren't expecting. Monday from hell continues when we rec a call from Armen indicating that we need to vacate the condo on Wed as it was double booked. We oblige & move all our stuff a few doors away. We arrive at new condo, which also needed cleaning, as there was sand in 1 bed, dirty counters & floors needed mopping, which cleaned up more than enough dog hair. A week after we left, we ask about our credit & stated, "you agreed to refund cleaning fee & 1 night stay (plus applicable taxes and fees)" & believe Armen misunderstood, & thought we wanted entire fee & tax credit, but we only asked for the taxes & fees assoc with the credit amt. Armen responded: "*I do not understand why you think: 1) You should get free night stay at condo in addition to free cleaning because you cleaned the condo. You got cleaning fee waived which is fair. I was orig going to provide to you but in light of your ridiculous demands I am recinding this off *You owe ME cleaning fee for cleaning that I paid for and I owed you a refund of cleaning fee. So NOTHING is due to you. It is a wash. *I am not paying YOUR taxes or YOUR VRBO service fees. *You owe me $100 for missing parking tag. You can send me $100 via VRBO for the lost tag." We did not have a relaxing week with all this chaos & it’s sad when owners think they can treat you this way & owe you nothing.

We stayed for 3 nights in the condo. It was great! Clean, cute unit and Armen was very responsive.

We were so happy with the decision to book this property, it was a great place and we had a ton of fun. Highly recommended!

The property is better then described. The host is extremely helpful and understanding. The property manager is extremely helpful. We docked our boat in the rented slip and it worked perfect! We stayed Memorial Day weekend and this property allows you to avoid the crowds at the boat launches. Everything was better than expected!! AAAA++++ We will be staying again for sure!

This is our second time staying on this property and we love it. Very quiet area and close to restaurants. We will be back again!

This is a good property not far from Fort DeSoto Park on Tierra Verde. Everything worked well and as advertised. Condo was clean. Would choose to stay here again in the future.

My family and I stayed here for 5 days in December. The location was perfect for our excursions to St. Pete, Clearwater and Tampa. Tierra Verde is a beautiful, quiet place to come back to after a long day of fun activities. The condo was perfect, with two nice bathrooms and good size bedrooms, and very spacious living, dining, kitchen area. It also has a beautiful view of the Bay from the balcony. The property was spotless when we checked in and we got in without a hitch. Very responsive host. I highly recommend and would definitely book it again.

This place was very nice. Great area, not far from some great restaurants. The pool was very nice. Kitchen fully stocked with utensils. Our only problems were the floors were very nasty so if we walked barefoot, our feet would get dirty so we wore our shoes a lot. The floors just needed a good mopping. The shower drains were also very nasty. We had to unclog the guest bathroom just so we could use that shower. Other than that, we had no issues. The kitchen was clean, and all dishes. Both beds were super comfortable. Plenty of towels and sheets available.

Great location and complex. Pool and hot tub. Apartment is nice but we agree with other reviews about condition of the property. Owner prefers you contact him immediately if you are not satisfied with the condition of the apartment when you walk in the front door. He responds very quickly.

Loved our stay at this location. Had a wonderful view, had 2 bedrooms with queen beds. Master bed was more firm the spare room was softer with a dip in the center. Owner was helpful and right on things when we had questions. AC and ceiling fans in bedrooms worked amazing. We have stayed at some VBRO that were cleaning but but it felt like home and would stay again. Loved Fort DeSoto just down the road. Beach was amazing and not as crowded as Honeymoon Island.

I had previously stayed at a holiday island property. By comparison this one was not as clean or as well decorated. The view was nice. Dishes were dirty. Black mold in shower. Could have been great, but fell short. Said they had cable but did not. Code for pool was WRONG and pool bands had wrong year on them .

Great location! Beautiful view, pool and hot tub were great! I would totally stay in these condos again, just not this particular condo due to cleanliness.

Condo was nice but cleaning crew need to step it up. Views were beautiful and setup was good.

Nice property but it needs cleaning, inside and out. Other items: Tub fixtures rusted and leaking, toilets need new seats, bedding covers/quilts need cleaning or deodorized. Same with the furniture, pillows and throws.

The location & buildings were in good shape. Pool & hot tub were relaxing. We did encounter master bedroom shower curtain was musty/moldy. The property owner was quick to have it replaced. The kitchen toaster did not work and was replaced as well. We did point out that the dishwasher was not getting the dishes clean should be looked at. Overall good stay.

Property is as shown in pictures. We have stayed at Holiday Island multiple times, this is the best bed by far, very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Owner is very easy to communicate with. Very clean, would stay again.

Perfect location to escape for awhile. We enjoyed the heated pool & hot tub. The condo was a short drive to gorgeous beaches on the bay or the gulf but away from the commercial activity. We really enjoyed our stay.

We spent the weekend here for a friends wedding which was minutes down the road. Unit was lovely had everything we needed. Highly reccommend

The condo was fully updated and with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We were able to relax and cook in when we desired. Armen very responsive and helpful. Will definitely book again when returning to the area.

Property is somewhat dated and there was a lack of basics such as soap. Attention to small details would improve the experience.

The location is great! Close to the action, but quiet and relaxing in Tierre Verde! The condo we stayed in could have more stars than I gave it. When we arrived the place had not been cleaned. The owner had the cleaning lady call me and she said they spent 2 hours cleaning but the floors were dirty, the mirrors, and faucets in the bathroom were dirty as well. The comforters smelled. The owner allowed me to clean them so I spent the first evening doing laundry to ensure fresh bedding. The towels are old and small. There are no beach towels, and the pillows were flat and stained so I bought 3 new. Enjoyed our stay once I cleaned . The owner refused to waive the cleaning fee as she said the cleaning lady would’ve come back the next day. I didn’t want to sleep in a bed that wasn’t cleaned . All in all, we had a nice vacation.

Condo was in a central location which made it easy to get to restaurants, beaches & entertainment. Loved the pool overlooking the water & the wildlife. Would definitely come again.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this Tierra Verde condo. It was very comfortable and easily accommodated the three of us. It was in a great location for us to attend our relative's beach wedding.
