Our family had a great time in this house. It has everything that you could ask for. Located right on the water on the gulf side, it has great views and exceptional sunsets. The pool and hot tub are great also. The pool is heated in case you get a cool day. We fished from the dock and caught quite a few different types of fish. At night, tarpon swim under the dock lights. The house also is equipped with kayaks, paddle boards and fishing gear. It really was an outstanding experience.

We utilized the pool and downstairs patio the most. We rented a boat and got todo some fishing out in the gulf and on the dock. Beautiful kitchen had all the amenities you will need. We had a great timeand probably be back . Highly recommended!

The home is situated on a wonderful spot on the gulf and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Plenty of activities, especially enjoyed the pool table and of course the pool and hot tub. The neighborhood was quiet and with the gates driveway was very private. We enjoyed the dock for boating and watching the wildlife such as parrot fish, tarpon, lobster, crab, dolphin, horseshoe crab and many other species of fish. Absolutely wonderful with the clear water. The home is comfortable and very cozy for relaxing and the kitchen is well appointed. Highly recommend for either a couple of a family, plenty of room between the inside and the outside areas to spread out and enjoy. We will be back for sure!

We are a busy family of 5 with college and high school age boys. We loved our week at Marathon and this house was perfect for us. We rented a boat which we docked easily at the property. The pool, the lower deck, the dock, and the patio were well used! We spent most of our time outside enjoying the gorgeous views. Our entire family was very comfortable in the home. The kitchen accommodated our needs perfectly and we were able to cook when we chose to. The location is perfect--right in the middle of Marathon with quick access to Publix as well as numerous restaurants. It was peaceful and quiet and the views at sunset are amazing. For people who want to fish, access to the gulf is obviously easy, but it is also just a short ride to the 7 mile bridge or Vaca cut to get to the Atlantic side. We will rent here again.

We had an amazing stay in Marathon! The house was perfect for us. The location could not be beat. We swam, kayaked, paddle boarded and fished. We tried to take advantage of all the house had to offer. We saw all kinds of wild life and felt like we were in a different world. We highly recommend!

I would totally book this property again. Jamie and Ryan are awesome owners. Very private property and the views are beautiful.

My family of 6 vacationed here for a week. Beautiful place and amazing water view! We brought our 24ft sea hunt boat. The house had a boat ramp, very convenient and a beautiful new dock to keep our boat at. The pool and hot tub were GREAT. Very nice outside area, to hang out and enjoy the sun. I would definitely recommend this house! And we hope to be back again! Thank you again Jamie!

We had a great time relaxing in the pool and watching the amazing sunsets every night . The Kids enjoyed fishing from the pier -catching a variety of fish and using the kayaks and paddleboards. The lights on the dock at night were great and attracted alot fish also. Great location close to shopping,restaurants,food stores and local activites like snorkeling and boat trips. Would stay here again.

Excellent location. Very nice dock! We rented a 23 foot boat but it would easily hold a much larger boat. Would stay again ! Very large rooms and bathrooms. Pool is to die for and the view of the sunset!

This property was fantastic! Great location, perfect pool and spa area, great amenities including the kayaks and paddle boards. Will definitely plan to stay here in the future!

This was our third year going to marathon, and this was by far the best location, house, and availability to fishing and having the perfect dock!! We will definitely be back!! Great Place!!!

Our family and friends have been coming to Marathon for years. So many times the pictures can be a bit mis leading. Well look no further. This by far was the most amazing property that we have rented. The entire house has everything that you will need. Large kitchen that is fully stocked with lots of counter space for seating. Spacious living room with views that never end. The bedrooms are all spacious with king size beds that are very comfortable and the xtra bunk room in a plus. If your family likes games the entire downstairs is perfect. We played pool and darts throughout the week. The new pool and hot tub were perfect. It feels like you’re out on an island. The private boat launch was important to us. We put in a 27ft boat with no trouble and the new dock was ideal. It Is so much easier than trying to launch at a public ramp. Last but not least, the sunsets were remarkable. We highly recommend giving this property a try. We have already booked for next year. Thanks Jamie for sharing your home with us. Mary Ann

Perfect. Lots of tropical fish, tarpon, nurse sharks, crabs, lobsters to see off dock. The iguanas come out to sun daily. Sunsets are breathtaking. Pool and hot tub great. Had a great week. Jamie was the best.

This place met all our expectations, it was just wonderful. The view spectacular, all the seating areas were perfect for looking at the wonderful views. Well stocked with everything you need. We honestly loved everything about this home and Marathon. Could not ask for a better location.

We stay in Marathon every year and have for 15 years. This house is our new favorite! We bring our 32’ Edgewater down and use it everyday so dockage and ocean access is vital for us. This house has deep water dockage even at low tide so you can launch and return without worry any time of day. You can be in the ocean in 5 minutes by Vaca Cut or the 7 mile bridge and being gulf side, you’re protected from the winds at dock. Power and water at the dock and a great fish cleaning station. At night, the light come on under the dock (green) and you can catch Tarpon all night long. There is a boat ramp on the property. It would be great for jet skis and skiffs but I’d say 20’ would be max. There is a fridge and chest freezer at the lower level to keep your chum and bait in too! Awesome pool and soaking tub, outdoor bar and even a pool table outside. The beds are AMAZING! After a day in the sun, you will be asleep in 3 minutes! Great kitchen, everything you need is there. The house is just amazing. Sunset every night from the balcony. Location is also amazing. Right across from the Publix, Herbie’s is right down the road and Island Fisheries is a few minutes away (amazing food). Upper Crust Pizza is also amazing and right down the road. We are already booking again. Highly recommended.

This location is outstanding, we have been going to Marathon annually for the past 20+ yrs and this house is hands down now one of our favorite locations.

We originally reserved this house for mid April 2023, but the host contacted us and said the electric company was going to cut power for a day to work on underground lines and she offered us ANOTHER rental unit nearby instead of having to deal with no electricity for a day or maybe more. (Very thoughtful host!) We took her offer and boy!....Did we have the best vacation EVER! We absolutely loved it! The guest house could not have been more perfect for our daughter, son-in-law, and 5-month-old baby who needed quiet nap times. The other 5 adults stayed in the main house. Everyone immensely enjoyed the house, the pool, the views, the ocean equipment, the kayak launch, the quietness of the neighborhood, the location to grocery stores, the starter kit of supplies, pool towels, AND the coffee maker that allowed either pots of coffee to be brewed OR Keurig cups! It was a fabulous vacation for our family! We ventured off to Sombrero and Bahia Honda, but we only stayed for a short visit because we all preferred staying at the house with the pool and view! VRBO will only allow me to write a review for the house on our original reservation (since our reservation was changed in a short amount of time before arrival) and the host told me to go ahead and write the review here since they are both her houses. Great property had everything we needed. We had a few small issue's. Management took care of very quickly, thank you for that. Certainly would rent this home again.

Such a great location and wonderful hosts. We kayaked around the smaller keys off the dock, paddleboarded, and caught so many different fish we couldn’t even keep track. We had 7 people and more than enough room to spread out and have our own space, and the kitchen and laundry were so convenient. The outdoor entertainment area was perfect to leave drinks in the fridge while we enjoyed the pool all afternoon. We experienced the most beautiful island sunsets each night. We rented bikes and a boat. Visiting the sandbar on our boat was one of the coolest experiences we’ve ever had! We biked to so many great restaurants (Herbie’s and Burdine’s were our favorites) all less than 1-2 miles away. I can’t recommend this place enough, it was perfect!

Lovely home. Well appointed with the amenities you need. Incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico from your living room, deck, pool, or sea wall. Great sunsets. Relaxing pool area. The owners are very responsive to any questions. Very clean. Everything was as described and in good working order. two minutes from the Publix grocery store. Five minutes from 7 mile bridge. Lots of wildlife, such as fish, nurse sharks, dolphins, ospreys, bald eagle. Whether you want to fish or just hang out and relax, or both, this is a great spot.

We enjoyed our stay in Marathon. Jamie was a great hostess and answered any questions we had about the property. The house was very clean on arrival. The kitchen has everything you need. We enjoyed playing darts, pool and corn hole. The kayaks provided ton of fun. Off the dock we saw parrotfish, a shark, and a small barracuda. Every afternoon we had an iguana visit us. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. The only thing I would recommend is to use insect repellant. Jamie did provide some at check in and you definitely need it. All in all a perfect family vacation. We hope to return next year!

The house was nice and very clean. The stay itself was nice minus a few things. The kitchen was fully stocked and it had awesome kayaks. The no see ums we're so bad we couldn't spend much time outside unless it was windy. The bunk "bedroom" was not a true bedroom. You had to access through another bedroom and it was where the laundry was. It also had no shelves or dresser to put clothes in, so had to share dresser in the main bedroom. So that room was very disappointing. The beds themselves were nice. The pool had one small spot that had sun in the morning for maybe an hour but was in the shade the rest of the time. Some people may like that, I however wanted sun. The dart game and pool table were great as well! Overall a nice stay! Jamie was wonderful to deal with!

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house met our expectations and was all we needed. Whether we were fishing off the dock, kayaking or paddle boarding the mangroves, or watching the beautiful sunsets, it was exactly what we hoped our vacation would be. Jamie was a great host and was very responsive in our communications. Would recommend this house!

First time in a long time we want to book for next year right away

We've stayed at this property numerous times over the years and it never disappoints. Private dock with perfect sunset views, easy access to all things water-sports and an awesome pool/bar area for hanging out. 10/10.
