Beautiful cabin! We came down for our daughter's wedding and everything was wonderful.

Very accommodating, would love to come back in the future for more skiing and maybe summer time fun! Just loved the area, view and home in general! It could use another shower or bath in lower level, when you have 10 it kind of gets hectic to get into the bathroom.

The place for family real Christmas vacation beautiful my family was very happy. We all had the best time ever very close to the town Breckenridge it was the best time for snow. Since childhood I have always dreamed of staying in a cabin with snow all around it during Christmas time. Wonderful owners, Gorgeous and Perfect home for traveling family & friends. This home had a great layout for my family. Everyone had a bed, and the common area(s) were large enough that we were all comfortable when using them together. Loved the location. The house is in close proximity to town, but out far enough that we had the solitude we wanted. Plenty of hiking right out the back door and the sunsets were fantastic. We had a great time! Thanks.

We loved the Blue River Cabin. The amenities were great, comfortable beds, beautiful views, and convenient access. Toby was a kind and prepared host. Everything that needed to be done was very clear and quite east for us. We didn't want to leave. Thank you again, Toby!

Gorgeous house! Close to the river and a lovely trail/s. A short drive into town and you are at the cutest little village! Our family had a blast spending time, hanging out playing cards, doing puzzles on the balcony and cooking together! Would highly recommend this lovely home!

My wife and two young daughters absolutely loved this cabin. We were blown away by the scenery and views. A heavy snow added a nice touch to the local landscape. Even with the snow, the roads and cabin were easily accessible and we didn’t have any issues. The heated garage was a huge bonus and I was able to fit my SUV with a luggage carrier in it. The cabin had everything we needed and the owner was very helpful and prompt with their responses. Local shopping, dining, and groceries were just 5 minutes away. If the mountains are calling we would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely home! It was the perfect size and set up to accommodate 3 families with 4 young kids. The view was wonderful and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was amazing and had almost everything we needed, including a full size crockpot and coffee pot. It was lacking hot pads to handle food coming from the oven, minor detail. The heated floors throughout the house kept everyone quite comfortable. The driveway was a bit of a challenge to get up due to snow and ice because 1 driver did not have 4 wheel drive. But the driveway was scraped each morning after snowfall. The only reason I could not give this property 5 stars is because the beds were terribly uncomfortable for all three adult couples. The master bed was the worst and sunken in on each side. Both queen beds upstairs were too firm causing neck pains. Good sleep is essential to a good vacation, but the only ones who slept well were the kids on the bunk beds in the basement. The beds would be the only reason I would not rent this property again. Otherwise, we loved the house so much and so did the kids! Also, the upstairs tv never worked after multiple attempts to replace batteries in the remote and after googling how to pair the roku remote. It still never worked. The smaller tv in the main living room worked fine.

The cabin was very impressive as soon as we drove up. It was more than perfect for our stay. There was 7 of us. The kids made trails in the snow and used the complimentary sleds to have a blast. Everything you needed was there. The view was beautiful. We really enjoyed the large windows while watching the snowfall. Short drive to town. Garage parking was a plus. Thanks for sharing your place with us and hope one day to be able to come back. The ski school at Beaver run that you suggested for the kids was great!

We were traveling with 5 adults and 3 teens and stayed at this cabin for a week long ski vacation at Breck. Positives - We loved the location of this home, it took us less than 10 min to get to the slopes every day. The neighborhood was very cute, all the homes were well kept, and the back yard was spacious and private. The kids enjoyed sledding in the snow down the hill out back (although the neighbor was not friendly, he groped at them for being out there). The home was well stocked with kitchen supplies. The master bedroom & kids area were spacious. Some of the drawbacks- when we arrived some of the bedding was not clean, we found crumbs under the kids sheets, blood spots and what looked to be urine stains on upstairs blankets - however the owner was quick to apologize and offered to refund the cleaning fee (which we’ve still not received, two weeks later). Although the exterior was beautiful we felt the interior was lacking. The living room was small and uncomfortable. The one sofa could not accommodate all of our adults at once, an the recliners did not work. The TV in the living room was very small - not ideal for watching anything as a family. The floors in the upstairs hallway and portions of the kitchen were loose, separated and peeling up. The furniture in the bedrooms were old, badly scratched and worn. The two upstairs queen beds were very uncomfortable per our other adult guests. The upstairs rooms were minimal with no TVs. The plugs in the upstairs rooms did not work. None of the humidifiers worked. The kids ended up sleeping on the floor in the basement because the bunk mattresses and sofa bed were so uncomfortable. We could not find cleaning supplies anywhere. After 6 months of looking forward to this trip, I have to say we were very disappointed with the accommodations - especially at this price point. Although we enjoyed our time skiing, we would NOT book this home again.

Folks, everything about this cabin and it’s owners are “simply the best”. From the moment we arrive the beauty of this cabin and how it is nested within the side of the mountain is breathtaking. The smallest details make you feel at home and it’s creature comforts allow you to settle in and enjoy the cabin and its views. The owners are very attentive to your well-being and your every need before during and after your stay. We spent New Year’s this year there with the entire family and our kids their fiancé‘s, boyfriends and girlfriends, really enjoyed every minute of making memories in Colorado and within this cabin. We thank Steph and Toby for their hospitality, and for allowing others to enjoy this beautiful cabin that they own. With much love and respect, Ivan and Iliana.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The views from the front deck are amazing- but we also enjoyed the views of the forests from the back of the house too- seemed a bit more private. We were so excited to have some snow while we were there- the cozy fireplace and all the amenities the home had to offer were so appreciated. I love to cook and the kitchen was by far one of the best equipped in a rental that I have seen. The home is spacious and comfortable and an easy drive into Breckenridge or to several nearby scenic trails. The host was very responsive and considerate of our questions. We will definitely consider staying here again if we find ourselves in the area.

This cabin was beautiful, just a short trip out of town, away from the busy areas. The place was so nice, all amenities were just as the website mentioned. Waking up everyday to spectacular views . There was a hiking trail just up the road and not far from a variety of trails.

We spent 3 weeks at this amazing home this summer. It could not have been more perfect. It’s a quick 10 minute drive into Breckenridge, but far enough away that it feels like a mountain resort. All amenities are wonderful and the hosts couldn’t have been easier to work with. It was HARD to leave!! We’ll definitely stay here again.

We loved this spacious, gorgeous log home. The views were absolutely stunning and we had access to hiking trails to the White River National forest. Everything was very comfortable. We were a bit disappointed that there was no hot tub even though the advertisement said there was. The fireplace didn’t always turn on and when it did it took a long time to ignite which made us a little nervous with the gas. We wish there would have been an outdoor fire ring. It was tough to figure out the sound system and the remotes for the TV. We found extra towels but not washcloths. The listing also said there would be laundry detergent but there was not. We are not trying to be critical, just an honest review so the host might be able to improve the stay for future guests.

Toby and Stephanie's property is exceptional! The mountain views are spectacular, and the warm, welcoming hospitality of the owners is second to none. They make every effort to accommodate their guests and are truly a joy to work with! The house is well-stocked with necessities, is in pristine condition, and is very comfortable. (We all slept so well!) The house is conveniently located and accessible to Breckenridge, Frisco, and Alma, with plenty of fun to be had all throughout the area. Our family hiked, biked, snow-tubed, snowshoed, sledded, grilled steaks, enjoyed Empire burgers from Breck, played charades, and relaxed on the porch while taking in the magnificent views. In addition, almost every evening, we were visited by a momma moose and her offspring. Both kids and adults were absolutely thrilled to observe these impressive creatures. :) Wonderful memories were made here, and it truly felt like our "home away from home." We hope to return someday. What a blessing to have been able to vacation at this beautiful house! Thank you, Toby and Stephanie, for making our son's senior trip so memorable and special!
