We did the booking via VRBO with KBM resorts and the stay was in Papakea resort area. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The beach towels, boogie boards, etc was an added bonus. We would have loved some life vests and snorkel masks too, but we ended up renting those.

Great resort and rental unit. Resort was so clean and well maintained. the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The resort was perfectly located near the activities in town and the beaches we loved but while in the resort it was quiet and peaceful, an oasis. Perfect stay, would definitely return!

Really Enjoyed our stay at Papakea with KBM. The whole experience was seamless and very pleasant. The suite had everything we needed and more. The unit is outfitted beautifully. Thanks for the extra heavy beach towels and the outdoor beach items. The grounds at Papakea are so beautiful and maintained to perfection.

This unit was very nice and the resort was such as I stayed longer in a different unit. I would recommend booking well ahead to get a unit that had longer openings so we wouldn't have to shift all the belongings and groceries etc. I will know better the next time. Overall a great place!

This place really grew on us! We have been spoiled and stayed mostly at resorts in the past, so at first, the lack of on site restaurant and bar were a bummer and the place felt a little tired, but over time, it really grew on us. Staying in a condo w/o the aforementioned amenities gives you an idea of what it would be like to live in Kaanapali. We really appreciated the small touches like nice beach towels, beach chairs and the bath products are high quality. The master bed was really comfortable too! Check-in was not smooth as they didn't have our reservation on site, so that was troubling but we got it worked out. The condo (H205) could use some updated knives and a new rug in the main room, but is otherwise fine. There is pickle ball on site and they have equipment. Enjoyed the food trucks nearby for dinner one evening and walks on the beach to the left. Also did Ohai Trail which was beautiful. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay. Loved that the beach towels are included along with four boogie boards, beach umbrella, and cooler. The place is cooled by a swamp cooler which is on the lanai. And is a bit noisy when on. We would turn it off when sitting on the lanai. The walls are quite thin and could hear the other rooms quite easily. The place is clean and for Hawaii standards pretty good. Easy checkin and close to food trucks and a walk to the beach. (there is a sea wall behind Papakea, not beach) the pool and hot tub were a nice area and the grounds were very pretty)overall we loved our stay!

We had an amazing stay at Papakea, unit H205. The view was breathtaking, the condo was spotless, everything we could have needed was included. The location was perfect too-close to everything at Kaanapali Beach and downtown Lahaina. I would defiantly stay here again.

Great communication! Perfect place inside and out! Accommodations exceeded our expectations for the grounds as well as the unit itself. My wife and I, along with our three young children loved our week in Maui here. If we find ourselves lucky enough to make another trip out to this beautiful island we will be calling KBM first to see if they could help us recreate another memorable stay. Great for family vacation. Central Lahaina location - close to everything and very accessible. Wonderful to have the rental car included. Definitely would stay here again!

The air conditioner in the unit was too loud to keep on at night and did not reach the bedrooms. the ensuite shower smelled musty to the point where we did not use it. the appliances were all very old. safe did not work and the internet was very slow. We were woken up every morning from the noise in the parking lot. We were disappointed in this unit and would not stay here again.

Beautiful setting, well-kept grounds, rooms and facilities. Helpful staff. Great communication and service from KBI. Spacious accommodation for our family of 5. Will definitely stay again!
