We had a large group, 10 people with 3 different families and everyone had their own space to retreat to, but also tons of room for all to gather and enjoy our time together. We enjoyed all amenities including the fireplace, screened-in and open-air patios, fireplace, hot tub and especially the pool table. We even had an impromptu game of corn hole. The tables both inside and on screened-in patio allowed us all to eat together or just sit and talk. The location of the home was close to multiple small towns allowing access to many stores, including grocery stores and general shopping. Lots of restaurants including Whataburger, Chicken Salad Chick, Chick-Fil-A, Popeyes and others. For Mexican food we highly recommend Senor Fiesta. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this property. And Dan was a great host and super-responsive with the few issues we experienced.

The property is amazing. Very spacious and lots to do. Our wrestling team has stayed at various properties for away tournaments and this one was one of the best yet. Places for the kids to hang out and grow closer as a team. Hot tub to help loose that stubborn few ounces before weigh in.

We rented this Lake House for our wedding week. We stayed here with most of our Bridal party and a few of their kids. The best part of this house was the fire place on the patio! This is where we spent most of our time. Dan the owner called to check-in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. He was great. They have all of the cookware and items needed for cooking as we did all of our own cooking. I highly recommend staying at this house

This property was perfect for all of our family for Christmas. The location was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked to cook Christmas dinner. Plenty of room for everyone. Would stay again!

It was a little tricky to find at first but once we realized we were on a private driveway it was no problem. Three patio decks plus one outdoor enclosed patio with tv and fireplace gave everyone plenty of space. The hot tub is very relaxing especially after a long day fishing with kids off the private dock. The pool table was a hit for some friendly family competition. Full kitchen and fancy outdoor barbecue grill is perfect for all cooking needs. Walmart, Publix Grocery and outlet mall are less than 10 minutes away. Kids enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for s’mores and fishing off the dock. Even caught a couple cat fish which was a first for the little ones. Overall it was a perfect hidden getaway where kids can have fun and experience nature and for adults to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Very highly recommended.

My family and I spent almost a week at this peaceful haven. Everything, including the gracious host, was simply wonderful!

The pictures do not do the house justice. Other than renting a tritoon boat from the Port Royale Marina one day (great folks to deal with and about an hour ride back to the house at a casual speed), we never felt the need to leave the house. We encountered a couple days with rain, but there was still plenty to do inside and the screened attached porch still made us feel like we were outside. Dan was very responsive to a couple questions we had. If we ever find ourselves back in Georgia, we would rebook without hesitating.

Dan’s lake house was spacious for family gathering and sharing meals. The screen room was awesome!! 2 refrigerators helped with space and the pool table was a hit. Dan is responsive by txt or phoning and quickly solves any issues. There is ample parking and a great Kroger less than 10 min away in a large, multi store /restaurant complex for any of the needs you might have. The lake was not busy allowing for easy kayaking/canoeing. I will note that though the kitchen is well stocked, there are no spices other than S&P, sugar and coffee filters. Also there were no napkins and facial tissues. No biggie but nice to know when you are planning your stay. Lastly as Dan notes the directions to the house are not on all GPSs. But his directions are clear and accurate and easy to follow. Thanks Dan!

Our group of 12 adults thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home! The location is very quiet and on a nice part of the lake that isn't too busy. The screened porch and upper dock level were the most popular spots...and the pool table was great for passing the time while meals were prepared. Will be keeping this spot in mind for the future!

Nice cabin with great indoor and outdoor spaces. Nice decks and screened in room. Comfortable beds and good towels, mattresses and sheets. Plenty of seating and eating spaces for our family gathering. The pool table was enjoyed as well as the hot tub. Great location on Lake Lanier. Nice dock with canoe, paddle board and life jackets. The dock was good to use with our boat rental. The kitchen was well appointed for multiple family meals. Our host checked in with us a couple of times. When questions came up, he was quick to reply. Beautiful, private property. It was great for quiet, recreation and relaxation, with shopping and amenities in town close by. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to vacation there again.

Beautiful venue

Our family had a wonderful stay at this lake cabin. The listing was very accurate. The owner was easy to communicate with. He was quick to send a repairman when there was a small plumbing issue. The lake was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dock and the water toys. We also appreciated that there were stores close by to pick up a few things we needed. We also loved visiting Dahlonega for ice cream. We would definitely come again.

My family of 11 ranging from ages 1-76 had an absolute blast at this lake house. The property has everything you need and more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to make it a regular family vacation on the future.

Very clean and comfortable property. The hot tub, pool table, and outdoor patio kept everyone very entertained. Plenty of beds and parking space for a large party. The host was very kind with great communication. Highly recommend!!

We loved Dan’s Lakehouse. The property is beautiful, we’ll maintained and comfortable. The house has tons of space for lounging around including our favorite- the screened in patio. The rooms with king beds were lovely and comfortable. The bunk bed was great for space although the adults we had in there were a bit crowded but we knew that going in. Access to the dock, canoe, was incredible and the one small issue we had was handled immediately by the communicative owner. Would recommended!!

We had the best time. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. I could live in the sidr.porch with fireplace. Views are gorgeous. Group of deer seem to live in the neighborhood and visited often. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time and the property was as advertised. There was plenty of room for our family vacation and the home and surroundings are beautiful.

The house was just minutes away from shopping and grocery stores.

The living room was perfect for hanging out with a good book, especially during the day when the sunlight was coming in through the big windows. The porch was perfect for watching the deer. We had such a wonderful stay and highly recommend !

We had Christmas at the house as a destination place to gather and it was perfect! The beds were all comfortable, plenty of space for all; 12 adults and 1 child. Each bedroom has a tv except the bunk room. The deck was perfect for morning coffee & mimosas. The screened in porch was perfect for football sunday. The basement has a pool table and the hot tub of course was a big hit. We were close to a Dollar General for any supplies we may have needed. We went to Dahlonega one day and shopped and had a few drinks & bite to eat; what a cute place. If your sitting on the fence, get off and book it, you won't be disappointed!

The layout of this beautiful lake house far exceeded our expectations. The 6 kids got to enjoy a fun bunk house room and basically had their own living room to watch TV, relax, and play games. The main living area and extended patio with fire place were utilized to the fullest. Plenty of room for our group of 12. We’ve already discussed returning in the summer

My sisters and all of our spouses stayed in this great house to celebrate Christmas. It is a three level home with spectacular views. Very spacious yet cozy. Loved all the fireplaces. Perfect!

Beautiful house with beautiful views. Right on the lake, there was a family of 7 deer on the property every day lots of birds. Within 10 min of town with restaurants and outlets. We visited Dahlonega which is magical at Christmas, our son loved it. Went to wolf creek winery which was beautiful with amazing views. Property manager was very communicative and helpful. We had a family of 10 and the layout worked well. Rooms on all 3 floors so you can spread out. Loved the fireplaces, especially loved the screened porch which allowed us to spend quality family time outside by the fireplace which came in handy as we had a few rainy days. We really enjoyed ourselves.

This property was beautiful! It is just as the listing & pictures showed. Perfect for large group and lots of space to spread out. Communication with property manager was very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this home!

This was an amazingly wonderful property. I wish that I was able to take more time off from work and stay longer. I will definitely try to book this property in the future.

We were very happy staying here because it was tucked away where it felt like you were in your own haven but it was close to activities like shopping, hiking and lots of fall festivities. 10/10 recommend

We rented this property to be close to my sons wedding venue. The house was beautiful and well appointed. Our only regret was that we were so busy with the wedding events we did not get to fully enjoy all the amenities! Dan was easy and pleasant to communicate with. The only negative was having to wash and dry towels before check out at 10am. We would definitely recommend this home to our family and friends.

The house was tucked back in the woods with a great sunset view and very peaceful. There were 2 living areas, one where the guys could watch TV in the evening and another one where the girls could play cards, dice and catch up! It was a very enjoyable time.
