The owners were prompt in addressing a problem. We love this area. The beach was wonderful and the town quaint. Can't wait for next year.

This was a great stay! The house was clean and spacious and not far from anything ☺️ This is one of the bigger houses we stayed in so had to room to cook and hang out. Would reccomend

This house has everything you need to enjoy some quiet and relaxing days by the beach. Sylvan beach is a few steps away from the front door! And there are two convenience stores just a few blocks away, too, in case you need to buy anything. The house was clean, very organized, and equipped for cooking group meals. The hosts have done a great job anticipating the needs of their guests; they laid out all the information and house rules in a helpful binder right at the entrance. The back porch and the outdoor area are really nice for group meals. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. We would definitely book again if we come back to Sylvan Beach!

Quite clean house that served our needs with small children. Easy access to beach.

We spent a long Fall weekend and enjoyed the area! There are some nice parks to explore and the history of the area is very interesting. The VRBO platform is not working well though. We never did get access to our rental agreement (always an error for the file) and each time we tried to communicate with this property owner or others for different rentals, we got a message that the property was no longer available on VRBO and will not be covered by the Book with Confidence Guarantee. Not the owners fault in any way that VRBO has a problem!

It was myself and children including two infants and the layout was perfect so the older children could be upstairs and I downstairs so that neither disturbed the other. Beach was perfect so my 1 year old could walk out a ways and I also didn't have to worry about the older children as the water was only knee high for what seemed like forever. Everything needed was there and we are very grateful we found this location. Neighbors were all friendly even with my children riding their bikes and scooters up and down the short road back and forth to the beach. Perfect for myself and my crew.

The lake house was wonderful. It was clean and welcoming. The location is perfect for enjoying the beach and for walks into town. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the gorgeous sunsets. Great place for family getaway!

Enjoyed the house, the location, everything! Communication was clear and easy, and we were accommodated very well. The internet wasn't working, and it was outside of the owner's control. That was the only issue. Everything else was fantastic! *Also, if you want to rent a kayak, make sure you book with Boat Oneida well in advance*

We had a fantastic time. The cottage had everything we needed. It was located a few steps down the road to the beach. The host was very accommodating and we had a great stay.

Absolute amazing experience. Our only concern was next door neighbor whom is an obvious permanent resident with very cluttered and messy surroundings, a sort of eye sore to the neighborhood.

This property has everything needed for a quick getaway or a long-term stay. The owners paid special attention to cater to all types visitors. The house is very deceptive and looks like a small cottage, but when you walk in you will immediately see that it is much larger than it appears. There is enough room for all to be comfortable. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean :) As other reviewer‘s mentioned the half bath is a bit odd, as it connects between the kitchen and the staircase, but it’s fine and it’s available. The Internet was great, which was important because we were working remotely during our short stay. The little town of Vienna is very cute, however due to the pandemic , activities and shopping are limited.. we sat outside for dinner one night at Captain John’s and had a delicious meal that would compare to a five-star restaurant. There was a little deli within walking distance, and we found ourselves going to Walmart 15 minutes away, for a grocery trip. The private beach with very shallow water is a one minute walk! Kids floated on the lake for hours and had a blast! There is a state park less than 10 minutes away by car that is gorgeous and worth the seven dollar entrance fee. The Neighborhood feels safe and friendly! We would definitely come back for a future stay, knowing that the house was fully equipped and spotless! Thank you!

Very well appointed vacation house! everything we needed was right there ! Right down to the conversation piece of a bathroom! (HA!) The location was perfect for us...lake friends were a short walking distance as was the town or an even shorter drive. Would definitely book again!

Very clean! Right by the beach!

Nice property but there are no doors or curtains on the upstairs bedrooms or the bathroom from the upstairs which is really at the bottom of the stairs and you must go through it to get upstairs Very strange and no privacy for three of the four bedrooms.

My family really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and perfect for us. We also loved being able to bring our dog along for the short trip. We plan to stay in this house again when we come back to visit.
