We had a wonderful time staying at this property . The house is so beautiful and located in a nice area. Victoria is a great host.

The view is amazing. The mosquitoes can be bad after if rains but if you keep the screens closed you are safe. The host was amazing and very communicative. This place is very boho chic. Only down side is no AC but it’s so close to the water that you won’t need it. If you want a real VI feel this is the place!

The lows: There is no air conditioning, despite the pictures showing a wall mounted air conditioner in the bedroom. The doors, windows and elsewhere were very porous and allowed many varieties of bugs to enter the sleeping areas which made (along with the heat) very difficult to sleep. My advise: Don't stay there during July, August and Sept. The Highs: Great view, great pool and good location.

This place was perfect. The pool was the perfect size and temperature. My family loved the turtles, the cats, the dog and the birds a that all live up n the premise and are all very friendly. Vicky and Tony are perfect hosts.

This property was great. We ate all of our meals at the garden table. The main house was big enough for all six of us to hang out. We also used the bunk house and the poolside house. We enjoyed the pool and deck overlooking the bay. The landscaping was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the small lizards, hummingbirds and turtles on the property.

The property was wonderful and perfect for the group we had. The pool area and view were awesome, really made the time spent at the property worth it. The only negative things I can think of, although small things were.. we never received the bottle of rum we read about and one of the pictures showed a window a/c unit, but none of the rooms had one. Overall a great place.

This was a great base for our family vacation. The property is in great shape and very well decorated. The map shows the property closer to Limetree when it’s actually up Hawk Hill (other side of the main road, further up away from the beach). The roads are very curvy and tight. The pool and pool deck are awesome - definitely a highlight, particularly at night. Kids loved how the pool lights changed colors. There is a box with tons of pool gear, snorkel gear, beach chairs, sunscreen, etc. it all made it incredibly easy to enjoy a day at the beach (or by the pool). That continues through the houses (mostly clear from the listing, but three distinct structures included) - lots of toiletry items (soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc.), full kitchen, coffee, bottle of coconut rum, and a game cabinet for the kids. Even the towels were amazingly laid out. Having the pool / pool house behind a lockable gate was perfect for us, as it allowed us to keep our youngest away from the water. A few of the reviews mention that it’s open air (aka no A/C). Our first night was rough, but after we got the window situation right to let the breeze through, we didn’t struggle with the heat. Part of it being open air is that we did have some uninvited “visitors”. I say this not to discourage you from staying, but just for full disclosure. Kitchen had some the tiniest ants I’ve ever seen, and anything left on the counter would be swarmed. Also had a few small lizards and my first scorpion. As much as we loved the pets, the most social cat (Hank) decided to jump on our bed at 5 AM one morning. The other decided to try breaking through the window screens at 2 AM another night. Despite that, they are really sweet animals (literally welcome you back to the house every time), and they helped to make the kids feel “at home”. If we make it back to St. Thomas with the kids, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We all really enjoyed our time here!

This place was the perfect getaway and space needed for our family with two teens. They loved their own rooms by the pool away from our room. We had the main house to the right that included nice size bedroom with queen bed and another bunk room next to living room, kitchen and dining room. Each room had a TV and plenty of windows for us to get fresh air. You will want a car as most things we went to were an 8 minutes to 20ish minutes drive. Very central to everything, but it is a little steep bumpy road so it was nice having a rental Jeep. The hostess Vicki was super helpful and kind. Their two cats were so sweet and playful. We had everything we needed to include beach chairs and towels. Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Frenchman Bay! The property consists of the owners 2 buildings and then 3 other buildings for guests - a main home with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, small living area, and kitchen/dining. The poolside villa included 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom in between and a patio. There's another bedroom "hut" but we did not need to use it. There is also a laundry building with a washer and dryer. One thing we missed is that the units are not air conditioned. This is likely common in St Thomas as you enjoy a nice breeze on the mountain top when leaving the screened windows open. We weren't there during the day and the nighttime was manageable with the added ceiling and free standing fans provided. The pool and view are what make the entire property (and the 2 cats, dog, and bird as pets during your stay!). The pool area is perfect for coffee in the morning and tropical beverages in the evening. There is a gas grill provided and an outdoor table with umbrella which we used often for grilling fish we picked up from Moe's Market. Be prepared to pay a premium for groceries - prices are extremely high (I'd say about double what we pay in NC). But it's vacation so you plan for it. The owners were very responsive during booking and non-intrusive during our stay. A tour of the property was provided when we arrived. We absolutely loved the pets on property! The cats are very loving and we enjoyed them very much during our stay. St Thomas is a lovely island and there is much to see - including nearby St John. We loved our snorkel excursion with Ocean Surfari! You definitely can't just pop out somewhere to pick up things as a taxi is needed everywhere you go. The roads are no joke - lots of steep hills and turns. But we felt confident with our driver and happy to pay for someone to safely drive us where we needed to go. Overall a very nice visit with perfect weather and tropical accommodations!

Had a great stay. Beautiful view from the pool deck. Good sized pool. My 9 and 12 yo boys enjoyed feeding the turtles petting the cats and dog. All very friendly. Would also be a great property with older kids because there is room to spread out, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in the pool house. The main structure has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, open living dining area. There is also another small structure with bunkbed. They are all close together. Vicky, and Tony were on the property but we hardly saw them, always very friendly. We were out and about most days though. You would need to rent a vehicle. Location is good, kind of mid island. Had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate recommending friends stay here.

We stayed a week and absolutely loved the property! Nothing better than waking up to the ocean right out your door, and my 4-year old absolutely loved the pool! We took advantage of the full kitchen most days to cook breakfasts and dinners, but the central location made it easy to drive down to a restaurant if we wanted too. The central location makes travelling to Charlotte Amelie or Red Hook a short (adventurous) drive. Tony and Vicky are awesome. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 adults and a 15 and 10 year old had an exceptional experience staying at Vicky and Tony’s Tovilla Property. The property is your own little paradise. Vicky and Tony were extremely hospitable and informative. It was great knowing they were available to answer questions during our stay. The property is well maintained and very clean. The property is gated and totally private including the lovely pool area. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Beach chairs, coolers, beach towels and floats were all available to use. Our 15 year old was excited to stay in ‘De Bunk House’ with its on deck. We throughly enjoyed their friendly cats, turtles, birds and Sheba the sweetest dog ever. Now for the WOW!! The view of the water was magnificent. Thank you Vicky and Tony for providing water, soda and a bottle of rum upon our arrival. We look forward to our next visit to St Thomas and to Tovilla.

This property was absolutely beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice and it’s a beautiful view to enjoy every day. The villas are kept up with very well and the owners are very welcoming. They provide you with the privacy you want on a vacation even though they are right there. It is however not in walking distance to much and we did have to take a taxi everywhere we went, however it was worth it for the breath taking views! Definitely could see myself going back!

We LOVED staying at this location. Hank & AbbyLynn (the cats) totally stole our hearts & it took everything in us not to bring them back to minnesota. So if you stay there, please give them snuggles for us! :) this location has an amazing view. It took a minute for us to find where we were going, but it was also dark when we drove up the mountain. But the place was clean & everything looks exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the sun come up & sitting in the pool as the sun was setting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!

My husband, teenage daughter and I had an extremely relaxing stay here. The property is lovely, with stunning views, a beautiful heated pool and pretty grounds. The pool and lounging area around it are more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. Our hosts gave us complete privacy even though they were just steps away, which was helpful when we needed them. During our stay I mistakenly locked my keys in the trunk of our car. As soon as I asked Vicky and Tommy for help, they called a friend who was a locksmith and he arrived to help out. They are really kind and pleasant, and very hospitable. The rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We loved that the house had a cooler, beach chairs and snorkel equipment, which we used at different beaches every day. It was also great to have a washer dryer when we needed it. I only feel bad that my other children weren’t able to stay here with us- hopefully we’ll find a time to come back with them in the future- I know they’d love it too!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our seamless stay at Lion Hide Villas. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and it truly had everything we needed. The pool was a great bonus. If you do not frequent Jamaica often, I would recommend planning your transportation ahead of time as Taxi's can get quite expensive. The property has Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, and I felt secure throughout my entire stay. Communication was super quick & easy with both Lisa & Omar. My absolutely favorite favorite favorite thing about Lion Hide was Tar, the dog who lives on the property. He was the sweetest, cuddliest thing. I could've laid with him at the pool all day. My future plans to return here is highly due to the fact that I already miss Tar. LOL ;) Thank you, Lisa & Omar!

The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Well appointed rooms with option for open air sleeping or closing the hurricane shutters. Great view from the pool deck and the heated pool was such a treat! Stocked with all the items we needed for our visit. The friendly dog and cats were a pleasant bonus! Would highly reconmend for a vacation villa.

Charming bungalow with plenty of room for all of us! Great location in the hills with a perfect view of the water. Pool and hot tub put the icing on the cake.

We stayed for a total of 7 days! Vicky and Tom where very nice loved the stay the property is very well taken care of. On the photo you only get to stay in the two houses on the right. The one in the middle and left are theirs and they do live on the property!

The villas are beautiful with plenty of room to spread out. The view from the deck is amazing. Vicky and Tony are wonderful hosts and were extremely helpful with information for us island newbies. The extras they provide made beach going even more fun and convenient. I will be definitely looking to them for my next island visit.
