The property was very nice, and convenient. Clean, easy check in, nothing broken. Would definitely stay again.

Overall good besides the TV on the deck is broken, the hot tub cover lift is installed wrong so it doesn't work, and the remote was dead in the main living area. Very nice and large space overall. Would stay again!

The cabin was perfect. It was so clean I thought it was newly built. It had everything we needed. The location gives you the in the woods with nature feel. It was amazing! Arrive during daylight because the darkness made it a little difficult to find on our arrival. We loved the place. The jacuzzi tv needs to be replaced.

Location of property was great . Functionality of property was good. Lots of smaller complaints. A/C was not balanced over three levels. Ice maker did not work. Only one hair dryer for three bathrooms. No chairs for fire pit. Etc.

The cabin is wonderful with quality throughout from the bathrooms, bedding, indoor and outdoor furniture, appliances to even the smallest detail like the hand soap. The location is close to shopping, restaurants and activities. The bar has been set high…now to see if it’s just as great the next stay!

We had a group of 3 moms and 6 kids, plenty of room for everyone!! 10 minutes to old man's cave, highly recommend! We had a great time at cabin, playing games, hot tub, watching movies! Memories were definitely made! One thing I recommend if you are cooking your meals, bring some Tupperware, the house didn't have any. But the kitchen was stocked with everything else! Couches and beds were very comfortable!

We had a wonderful time at Foxfire cabin. The cabin was extremely clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. It rained so we had fun playing pool. All the furniture was very comfortable as were the beds. Everyone had a great time, highly recommend!!

Last minute decision to rent a cabin. Found this one for my husband and myself. Beautiful cabin. Quiet. Close to hiking trails. Had a peaceful relaxing time.

we really enjoyed this cabin. Everything was clean, and comfortable. I had read previous reviews that the couch was rundown. but they must have just gotten a brand new one, which was nice to see. very cozy on the comfortable leather couch by the fireplace. Also the location could not be better. five mins away from grocery stores, very close to awesome trails, and still feels secluded enough. thanks for the hospitality

The location was pleasant and convenient to everything. Foxfire should not be advertised as accommodating 14 people. There were 11 dinner plates, 13 forks, and frying pans & pots not suitable for cooking for a large group. The main floor couch is so broken that only 2-3 people could comfortably sit on it. Fortunately we had good weather and spent time on the deck but that only had 7 chairs. There is also a severe shortage of towel bars and hooks for reusing towels. Bathrooms were very nice except for that. The top shelf of dishwasher is broken and with limited dinnerware frequent running of the dishwasher is required. Notifed management but it was not replaced during our stay. When hot tub wouldn't work after a power surge, texted maintenance @ 9:30 am. Had to call management company six hours later to finally get it fixed.The rent here was premium without premium amenities.Sharon Uhl

Our group of girls loved the cabin! It was perfect for a relaxing girls weekend! We definitely will be back!!

I live in the city and makes me want to have a small cabin in the woods in the country

This property is very centrally located. Hiking trails were about 20 minutes away and we were also close to other activities and local shopping. The property was exactly what we were expecting and the amenities were really great to enjoy. We were able to have multiple campfires and enjoyed the hot tub. We would absolutely come back to this property again.

Close to attractions. Carry out restaurants weren’t real good. Captain Ron’s pizza ran out of pizza.

We had a group of 14 girls that stayed in the cabin and it was such a great experience! The place was perfect for our needs, was very well kept (with the exception of the couch which we were warned about in advance), had everything needed for the kitchen and really nice bathrooms and additional amenities. I would say that the cabin states it fits 14, however if all 14 are adults be prepared to sleep on couches. It was also a little warm at times and we were unable to locate the thermostat. The house was kind of hard to find when going up the hill and the check-in stuff did not come until the day before when I had already printed all of the things needed a week in advance, but that is a personal preference. Would for sure stay at this place again as it was close to town but still far enough out that it felt like we were in the hills. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time on our short vacation at the cabin. It was a great getaway for our kids and a couple friends. We enjoyed soaks in the hot tub, the pool table, and the campfire. There are lots of hiking trails for adults as well as kids extremely close. The cabin area has a lake with a paddle board and sand volleyball that we did not get to use due to time, but looked fun as we watched others enjoy as we passed. We would recommend this cabin for anyone! Thanks for the great vacation!!

Overall this is a nice property with plenty of space and amenities for the family. I don’t think it’s a bad choice for the Hocking Hills area. There were some minor maintenance things that we wish we didn't have to be concerned with. It seems like they get lots of guests going through every week and don’t inspect the property regularly to ensure everything is in working order. Also, we weren’t able to easily get in touch with the property owner. Net it’s ok to book but don’t expect perfection.

Great trip with the wife and kids. Cabin is close to being in the middle of everything. Easy access clean and plenty of room.

Just the thing i needed to get my mind back down to earth and nature this is the greatest place for r and r hope to come back in the spring.

Overall it was a wonderful christmas present to our family. I wish there was a different garbage situation - closer cans outside the cabin for convenience. The top shelf in the dishwasher was broke too. But it was a very cute cabin with lots of wonderful features that we thoroughly enjoyed!!

the property was nice, wish you could see more of the 95 acres and not look down to the street, the couch in main living room was terrible. the house was nice, much needed vacation

We had a great time at this cabin. The property is located 2 miles from the Logan Walmart, 10 minutes from Old Man's Cave and across the street from a new Zipline place. The cabin was new and super clean. We loved having the hot tub right on the deck. The only negative for us is that the bunk room is in the basement so the 5 kids on our trip (ages 4-8) were too scared to sleep down there alone and the two main floor bedrooms were very small. But this would never be an issue if you had older kids, and this would not deter us from coming back.

Overall we found the cabin nice - beautiful location, new and updated and generally as advertised. A big area of concern for me is in the lack of "warmth." What I mean by that is that other reviews have noted, the communication leading up to the stay is very harsh to the point of unwelcoming. I was not treated as a welcomed guest but rather unwelcomed, with receiving many lists of "do's" and "do nots." I have stayed at many rental properties and this is the first time I have received this kind of treatment. With every subsequent email of harshly worded rules and requirements (there were several) I felt more and more unwelcomed to the point of being reluctant and anxious for the vacation, which was a big bummer. It is also bare bones in terms of being stocked (I think we had approximately 10 sheets of toilet paper in the whole place!) so plan accordingly. There's a huge opportunity for an improved customer experience with all of this. As far as the property itself - we had some issues upon arrival (broken DVD player, non functioning internet, broken fireplace) that I spent several hours Friday evening attempting to get someone on the phone to help us with. The person I spoke with said that he was only an answering service and suggested that I keep calling another number until someone picked up - which took a while. Would have been nice if that individual could have taken some ownership instead of making this my problem. With a short weekend only stay it was such a bummer to spend so much of it attempting to get someone to answer the phone to help troubleshoot. Someone finally arrived at 10p to look at fireplace and it was fixed the next morning but with only two nights stay it would have been nice to have the fireplace working the entire time. The DVD player wasn't addressed and the internet finally started working but it was frustrating. The last thing I would say, as others have noted, is the couch is TERRIBLE. It's broken in many places, bars in your back while sitting, uneven, ripped pleather. Really in bad need of replacement- we didn't spend much time on it due to how much it hurt our backs (and we're a group of 30 somethings in good physical shape).
