The playground was close by which was great for my two younger nephews and the beach was a golf cart ride away. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans to easily cook all three meals. There was plenty of living space to enjoy different activities in the house. Management was very accommodating and responsive any time we needed a parking pass and they were great about giving us a later check out time so we didn’t have to head to the airport early. Thank you for a great stay!

We were in town for a wedding and stayed here with friends. The house was updated, very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Wish we could have spent more time here! Would recommend!

The house is fairly new and well laid out Front and back porches were our favorite spots I didn’t know before arriving that the houses are practically on top of one another While we had a golf cart to make the trip to the beach easier we had no idea how far the walk would be once we exited the golf cart And no beach chairs at the house nor any available to rent Since most people are driving just a few hours they are probably more aware of this situation However flying in from Colorado and Virginia we were disappointed in being close to the lake but unable to get to it without a trip to somewhere to buy chairs for one day Above average for a rental But ask the important questions before booking so as to be prepared

The home is well maintained, perfect area for kids in the basement with bunk beds and the screened porch for late nights and early mornings. We have been coming to Beachwalk for over ten years and this is one of our favorite properties.

Great space

Our family has been looking to rent a home in Beachwalk for the past several years.... thankfully we were able to find a house and date that matched everyone's busy schedules! Ohana was a perfect house for us as it backs up to the park and we had 6 kids (under 10). The home was well equipped and more than comfortably handled our party of 12! I will recommend staying here to anyone willing to listen... we will def be returning in the future!

The best weekend in one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed in. Perfect location. The renting property staff were responsive and very friendly! All my friends who were there with me commented the whole weekend how I did a “great job” finding “Ohana” :)

This was a spontaneously planned getaway. So fortunate to be able to book it for the days needed. The house was so beautiful and accommodating in every way and the golf cart was so convenient for getting around! The amenities are wonderful and our trips to the beach created so many beautiful memories. The sunsets are amazing! The zoo was great! So up close and personal with the animals. Looking forward to coming back!

Beachwalk is our favorite summer spot for an easy, no fuss vacation, close to Chicago. This was our 4th visit to the community. Overall, Ohana is a nice home, but lacked some of the amenities we would have expected for the cost/in a newer home. Simple things like potholders and better pots/pans would have been nice. As well, the furniture was fairly dirty. We were told it was going to be steamcleaned after we left, based on our feedback, but that didn't do us much good. Compared to the other properties we've stayed at, it was nice, but not worth the price we paid. Overall, we still love Beachwalk. We just may look for a different property next time.

Reviewer Comments: We LOVED Ohana! It's new, clean, organized and in the best location overlooking the park! We have been going to Beachwalk for years and Ohana was our favorite house! :) The only suggestion I have is that is the management company is going to charge a cleaning fee then the visitors shouldn't be expected to do half of the cleaning! We understand completely taking out the garbage, but taking all the linens off all the beds and collecting all the towels and making sure they are in one spot is sort of overboard when you are paying between $200-$300 for a cleaning service. I left Ohana practically spotless because of the "check out" list. Thank you!

Friendly community, love the golf cart idea where each house gets one.

Only change I would recommend is a Moreno thorough cleaning of the property before we we’re let in as we found some nails etc on the floor.
