We had a wonderful time. Very cosy, clean and well appointed accommodation. Surrounding gardens were lovely. Excellent breakfast provisions provided, and plenty of wood for the fireplace. Delightful!!

We stayed for a long weekend to attend a family wedding in Taradale at this truly stunning property. The gardens were beautiful, and the breakfast provisions were perfect. We will definitely be back.

Perfect place for a winter re-set. The property is absolutely beautiful, with everything you could need.

Meticulously styled, fabulous attention to detail. Weather was ferociously chilly outside, but house was toasty warm the whole weekend. Will definitely be back.

Wonderfully comfortable with a blazing fire to keep us warm during the cold evenings along with a split system. Comfy beds and great amenities with crockery pots and pans and a massive oven cooker. Can’t recommend highly enough. Amazing rural outlook and the stars at night, awe inspiring!

What an absolute delight is was to stay on this property. The interior felt like we had stepped into a Nancy meyers film. An absolute dream. Will definitely be back.

Our stay was absolutely lovely! We enjoyed the quiet and private location and of the cottage. Very beautiful tuscan vibes that made it feel like you were in another country. Our experience at Timber and Stone retreat was just stunning. We had the most beautiful cool mornings exploring the properties exquisite garden landscaping. Such a beautifully presented and equipped cottage. We felt like we’d been transported to Tuscany or the South of France. Breakfast provided, luxury bath products and enough magazines, books and DVDs to never want to leave but the quaint village of Malmsbury is just nearby and well worth spending time in.

A lovely escape in Malmsbury, Vanessa has thought of everything; from a delicious breakfast through to DVDs and magazines to enjoy infant of a roaring fire. Such a wonderful place to stay!

What a beautiful place to unwind and forget. Attention to detail with everything was oustanding.

We had a perfect autumn weekend at this beautiful villa. Every detail to make for a relaxing stay was thought of. We enjoyed the log fire on the cold night we arrived with plenty of firewood on hand, the reverse cycle heating also did an amazing job when we chose not to light the fire the next night. The breakfast basket was loaded with fresh produce, orange juice and plenty of milk in the fridge to use in the coffee machine and an absolute stack of coffee pods. This was much more than we expected! The bed was very comfortable and you feel total privacy. We enjoyed lunch on the Sun soaked terrace and took a few happy snaps in front of the beautiful autumn foliage at the front on the villa. The accommodation is even lovelier than the photos as we felt total escape and relaxation as soon as we arrived with all the thoughtful details. Vanessa was a wonderful host, fantastic communicator and we feel very grateful that we were able to stay at this beautiful place. Would love to stay again!
