Clean. Nice paint job and bathroom.

The room was very very noisy with the road traffic outside. We ended up not staying overnight. Instead we drove home.

Close to everything in town, but why would you go out - great food and great atmosphere downstairs

Location close to shops for breakfast. Ensuite facility exceeded my assumptions when I booked. Very modern and clean.

Rooms facing the White Room do experience a lot of evening noise on the Friday and Saturday eveninbgs with bands/entertainment/karoake being conducted below. Can't say I had a good nights sleep either night. Perhaps double glazing of windows needed. Balcony rooms would not experience this problem I suppose.

Old country pub/hotel tastefully decorated in the art deco era. It was neat and clean with all amenities. Free car parking. Our room was large and comfortable with a large balcony. It's located in the center of town and walking distance to all shops, cafes, and a supermarket. We attended a function that was held downstairs in the same hotel so it was very easy to walk upstairs to our room at the end of the night.

Beautifully renovated, very clean and comfortable. Easy access to very good meals and drinks downstairs.

The bathroom was beautiful but there were no rails for the towels to dry and, in the absence of a daily change of towels, we used damp towels for our extended stay. Lighting was just adequate - there was no light in the toilet part of the bathroom (Isobel), there were no reading lamps on the bedend (bedside lamp was a mood lamp only) which were needed because the room light is inadequate for reading. The room picks up a lot of road noise from early morning to late night.

I liked that the rooms have their own ensuites. Room was basic, but enough for what I wanted. Aircon is another bonus especially on a warm night. Great meal downstairs. Room was fairly quiet. Only really heard people coming and going in the hallway.

The carpets throughout the hotel could use a steam clean. Especially the staircase. They just look dirty. But that's me being knickpicky!

Great value. Single room quality accommodation is hard to find. Royal Hotel Drouin is a gem.

We didn’t get any tea/coffee/milk top ups. bin not emptied over the 4 days. Other than that all good 👍
