This was not just a rental property but a great home! The location was very close to all the services and shops needed, but still had the feel of country life. The kitchen was well equipped, & the yard was full of games to keep the kids entertained while we cooked. The radiant heat kept the whole house warm and cozy. And the huge hottub was such an enjoyment after a long day hitting the slopes. Aspen Snowmass was only 20 minutes away and Sunlight Mountain only 35. The local trails along the Roaring Fork from the back yard was easy and fun for the kids.. Our only lowpoint staying with Doug was leaving!

Beautiful, comfortable home in a wonderful area close to Aspen with lots of outdoor activities within reach. Highly recommend!

This property is one the rare online rentals that is better in person. I mean a crystal clear pond...with trout...and a zipline. Seriously? It truly has something for everyone, regardless of your age or interests. The location is unparalleled...equally isolated and in the middle of everything. I could go on, but I’d still like it to be available for our future stays!

Both the front and back yard are extremely private, providing a serene space where you can relax and focus on what’s really important in life. The inside of the home is very spacious and just as beautiful; stocked with everything you need and more! Our boys loved feeding the trout, ziplining, playing in the awesome treehouse, picking fresh tomatoes from the garden, and apples from the trees. We enjoyed playing croquet, badminton, cornhole, sitting in the hot tub, and cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The Roaring Fork River is also very short hike away. Doug and Rebecca are top-notch hosts and made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a very memorable time at this property. The backyard, tree house, stream and the huge windows in the house were some of our favourite parts of this trip. The house is located in a beautiful community with a pond and is walkable from whole foods and a bunch of other stores. Our dog and babies had so much fun too. Doug was very responsive to all our questions and I would highly recommend this place!

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we weren't able to go on our trip or stay at this lovely-looking home. I want to thank Doug for his prompt communication when I booked his home months ago, but especially as the seriousness of the virus unfolded and his willingness to refund us. We are hoping to be back next year!

We had a lovely stay in this spectacular home. Every detail from the super-stocked kitchen to the fabulous hot tub was top notch. We loved that bikes were available for our use to explore the valley. Bird feeders abound drawing gold finch, purple finch and wood peckers. It was so peaceful and rejuvenating to be there. Thank you to a very attentive host!

This house features many amenities you can't see from the photos. There is a zip line in the back yard as well as a trampoline, tree house/jungle gym, fire pit and grills. The interior is beyond spacious with beautiful light, privacy, built in sound system, baby grand piano and dreamy kitchen. We used the house for overnight lodging and a team dinner on a work retreat and couldn't envision a better environment. Doug was also very communicative and accommodating. It was clear our enjoyment was his priority. Thanks Doug!

We had the opportunity to stay here for a wonderful weekend in the Aspen area and couldn’t have been happier. Perfect size for our large family and they had so many welcoming touches for our stay. Doug was so gracious and a great communicator. We will definitely be back!

I booked this house for a weekend birthday getaway for me and 9 friends, and it did not disappoint. The house is HUGE, with a great open floorplan ground floor and a group of gorgeous bedrooms on the second floor. The kitchen was large and provided everything we needed for group dinners each night. The dining room table provided plenty of space for 10 people, as did the living room area with a huge multi-sectional couch and a couple of super-comfy lounge chairs. The windows in this place are everywhere, floor-to-ceiling, and provide a great deal of lighting. This house has it all - great location, wonderful back yard, large hot tub, spacious kitchen, great bedrooms, and more! Would stay again, especially with the convenient distance to Aspen for snowboarding.

My family and I stayed for a week during the New Year’s and were most impressed in every aspect by the property and the owners responsiveness to any of our needs. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway particularly those with family.

this property was amazing from all aspects. The backyard is simply spectacular with the tree house, trampoline, and zip line. My kids loved it and so did my wife and I. The neighborhood and proximity to the shopping center was perfect for groceries, dinners and a Starbucks run in the mornings. Highly recommend this property for anyone who has kids and wants to stay close to Aspen/Snomass but with a small town feel

This beautiful house was the perfect choice for our recent trip to the Roaring Fork Valley. The space was clean, comfortable, and beautiful all at once. This is a dream house for children with the expansive yard and playhouse. We would stay again!

This house was well equipped and comfortable for a 1 week ski trip with kids. We found the drives to Snowmass and Buttermilk easy (30 minutes or less, no traffic). The kitchen had all needed spices, cooking utensils needed, the nearby ( 2 min drive) shopping plaza with Whole Foods and restaurants made cooking a breeze. The kids enjoyed playing in the back yard, and there were a nice collection of books and games. The owner was very responsive,

This house is 1st class and so is Doug (The Owner). The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The few questions we had Doug texted back with answers right away. We really appreciate everything Doug did for us and we would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in the area.

We have 3 small families stay at the house and we have a wonderful time. The host had excellent communication. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The outside area was just perfect for the kids and they had so much fun exploring everything. We would for sure stay again.
