We throughly enjoyed our time in FL. Not a drop of rain the entire week! The space was perfect for our adult boys and their girls. Check in can’t be any easier. The covered porch was perfect! The house is a bit older, but very comfortable. The elevator made it easy on my knees. I’d stay here again!

This property is located on a quiet strip of land, called the Narrows. The views from the balcony are amazing and the beach is quiet. You can enjoy shell collecting, dolphin and manatee watching, swimming and fishing right at your footsteps. The property is clean, and just as listed. The elevator makes it very easy to load all of your belongings on it, and it will take then to the third-floor for you, which makes Checking in and checking out easy. We greatly enjoyed staying at this property.

Really nice, private place. Only 2 other units share your private peace on the beach. The home has plenty of space to relax and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed my morning coffee time sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. My husband and son enjoyed the large screen television to watch the games. Kitchen has lots of counter space too. Would rent this unit again.

All your paying for is the view, let me just start with that. The listing offers a beautiful front and back deck; but you can’t even use the front one. You step one foot on it and it pulls away from the house. Very unsafe! Immediately upon arrival as we started putting our stuff away, we could barely use any of the closet space. This was due to the fact the owners had “personal items” taking up the spaces. Not to mention the decor was not updated and they had personal photos and pictures everywhere. On the listing they offered an elevator, which I thought was lovely sense my grandmother was going on this trip. But it was very rickety and not to mention did not come with any instructions. Even though it states very clearly on the elevator to read the instructions. Again, very unsafe! They also offer a game room with a ping pong table. But in reality all it is is a dingy looking garage with the Utilities for the house. Not to mention you have to go through said garage to get to the pool. This is due to the fact the spiral staircase, they mention as well, is rusting away. Again very unsafe! So overall the experience of the trip was fun, but we probably are never coming back here. We should’ve stayed somewhere else. Sorry to say but it’s the truth.

We loved our stay. The location is great. the house overall met all our needs. It's an older house so there are a few things that need some updating but none of that bothered us too much. overall it was clean and just what we needed. Never figured out how to use the elevator. If you don't mind walking the stairs, this is a good property.

Overall nice location and beautiful stretch of beach. Loved the deck for breakfast each day and cocktails in late afternoon before heading out to dinner. Son had no problem studying online and taking his last law school exam before graduation. Had a nice visit and would recommend the unit to anyone considering a visit.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very comfortable and offered every amenity we could possibly need. We loved having private balconies facing both east and west. This condo has so much room we were able to enjoy privacy as well as time together. The beach is beautiful and not very crowded. There are several great places to eat nearby. We would highly recommend this property to others!

Views from both directions! Great location close to restaurants and shops. Amenities were great. Elevator/dumb waiter essential for this huge 3rd floor condo. Kitchen large enough for family gatherings. Just needs a little updating on dishwasher and electrical outlets not working but overall a great space!

Joyce's Beachhouse is by far the best oceanfront condo I have stayed in. The condo was extremely clean, very well furnished and it had anything you could possibly need. The kitchen was stacked with all kinds of pots and pans, there were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, games, etc. The communication with the rental company was very good. AND the view was to die for!!! The terrace is huge, you do not need much else. I would definitely stay there again!

Right on the beach as described. Easy access to local restaurants and groceries. The third floor suite was very comfortable. Elevator did not work and we had a few issues to discuss with the property manager. He responded with a phone call within 24 hours and was very friendly. The property could use some upgrades. We did not focus on the problems. My family made long-lasting memories at Indian Shores, Florida.

Girls trip
We loved the balcony and beachfront views. The condo is very spacious for a group and plenty of living room seating. The condo was not clean when we arrived, there was a dirty washcloth in the bathtub and a ring of hair around the drain ,really gross! The other shower didn't work as the knob was coming off and therefore wouldn't function. It was not fun having one shower for 5 ladies to get ready and I feel we should have beeb compensated for that but we were not. Also, this condo desperately needs some updating.

Vacation review
My family stayed here during the same week last year and it was exceptional. Many problems this time. My daughter and I work remotely and had constant Wi-Fi problems which caused us grief with our jobs. Couldn’t watch tv because of constant buffering. Couldn’t take more than 5 minute shower without running out of hot water. Dishwasher door wouldn’t close without slamming. Kitchen sink didn’t drain well. Elevator didn’t work well. Beautiful location but disappointed in the conditions of the condo this year.

Indian Shores Condo
View was beautiful. Lovely breeze on deck. We enjoyed the pool. However, housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Floors weren't vacuumed, crumbs everywhere. Vent in master bedroom hall was covered in dust and dirt. Hand towel in master bath had blood spot on it and blood spot on floor. Old toothpaste on 2nd bathroom faucet and wall. It was difficult to get the TV tuned to satellite. We wanted to grill out by the pool but all three propane tanks were empty and the grill was filthy. We had to buy portable grills.

Great location and beach access
We have been vacationing in the Indian Rocks Beach area for about 15 years. We try a different rental each time. The location is fantastic as it's super quiet with no immediate public access. The unit was clean and ready for us at arrival. The view and outside deck is large and has plenty of seating. We are a family of 4 and there was plenty of space. Everyone slept good, but the twin beds in the one room are quite firm. I was not able to get the cable box to work, but it really wasn't a priority. Streaming TVs in all rooms. We didn't use the private elevator, but it would be good for sending up groceries. Overall we enjoyed our annual stay. The bathroom fans did not work and the cooking items need to be updated (pots, pans, hot pads). The manager was very responsive when contacted.

TV's Didn't Work-NO Solution-NO Follow Up...Never Ended up Working!
The view is the only thing going for this place.
The owner/contact offered limited solutions to TV/Cable not working and the TV cable company (After we were on the phone with them for an hour when we had just travelled all day) lied to us about follow up. All I got were excuses and an offer to cancel the reservation but then no follow up. When I followed up again with the owner/Manager a day later, he ghosted us and we never heard back from him again. For the amount of money this was and no offer for a discount at all, we advise never to rent from this owner. There was no pizza cutter, no salt, and very old utensils/furnishings when the pictures give the impression this is a reasonably high end rental. The bedroom near the front door has an incredibly squeaky bed and the blinds in that room do not help much with the street lights glaring into the room all night.....Water pressure was poor at best, and the overall impression (Again, apart from the view of the Gulf) of this rental is not worth the money! If the owner would have at least offered to discount the trip a bit for the inability to fix the cable TV, it would have softened the blow a bit. Stay Away from this place, there is many updates needed to this property.

Beach is gorgeous. Balcony is perfect with 2 tables and 2 comfy chairs. Inside is comfortable and has what is needed. Overall great stay!

Disappointed
The location and views are incredible, but that is what you’re paying for here. The heated pool does not work, and was not disclosed prior to check in. The pool area was pretty run down. The place smells musty and there is mold on the ceiling around the vents. The washer and dryer are filthy. As is the closet shelves. There was a nasty film over the shelving. And because the drawers smelled so musty, we had to use the closet shelving. There were crumbs on the nightstand upon check in. And we just got that general feeling that cleaning did not happen often. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. Looking to return back to Indian Shores again soon. But it will not be at this property unfortunately.

Great Beach Vacation Home
The location of this property is what makes it so amazing! The views from both the front and back patios made the stay fantastic for my mother, who was not able to walk onto the beach each day. We enjoyed amazing sunrises and sunsets. The elevator was also a huge bonus for us. The property is starting to show a little wear, which was mentioned in other reviews, but not something a little paint and small touch-ups couldn't take care of. The furniture and surfaces were all clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay here again!

Great Place, Best views!
The property was great! The furnishing were a bit dated, but nothing major. We had an issue with the dishwasher, they had someone out the next day. Also, the ceiling fan in the living room would only work safely on low and the door to the twin bedroom was completely unhinged. Other than that the place was great. I was a little worried with other renters in the units below us but we were able to work around each other’s schedules and able to swim privately. They were quiet and friendly. The pool, beach access, and views were perfect, couldn’t ask for better. There were plenty of chairs, towels, and beach toys for everyone. And, on one of our beach swims we were only a few feet away from dolphins, incredible!

Nice getaway
All in all this was a nice getaway. The beach is lovely, it’s stays shallow pretty far out so it’s good for kids or those of us who just don’t like venture out too far! The view from the rental is fantastic and the walk to the beach takes about 1 minute. Loved that!
Some negatives, the furniture and the kitchen pots and pans are a bit dated but we didn’t spend a ton of time inside so we got over that.
I do wish that they left a few cleaning supplies in the rental for tidying up throughout our stay. But we made due. Prepare to have lots of very close by neighbors! We were fine with that but if you’re looking for privacy, you won’t get that here unless the units around you are not occupied.
Cute beach town with lots of restaurant options and a grocery store within a 5 minute drive.

Great location,
This condo is on a lovely portion of beach and conveniently located on Gulf Blvd. we really enjoyed the porches and views. The decor and amenities are showing age! The advertising for heated pool was not accurate; the pool was COLD! An ice maker would have been nice in the kitchen. The tv was pretty old and wasn’t smart, so no streaming of movies or anything possible on the cold days. The floors are very nice and so is the granite in the kitchen and baths. But Most of the furniture is antiques except the leather couch in the den. Updated painting around the windows where the trim has been removed would be a good idea.

Beautiful setting with a few minor issues
Overall, we immensely enjoyed our stay. The setting is gorgeous, with spectacular views of the gulf that are nearly enough to make everything else seem trivial.
With that said, there were a few issues, some of which are just part of being in Florida, like the mold on and around some of the vents. Our biggest issue was with the "kids" room with the two twin beds. None of the furniture is anchored to the wall, which with younger kids (our son is eight) is a safety hazard so we couldn't have him sleep in there as planned. Our eleven year old slept in there and had a painting fall off the wall on him in the middle of the night because they were just resting on a couple screws instead of having any sort of mounting hardware on them, so we ended up having to take the others down off the wall. Spoke with Joseph, one of the property managers about it and he was very apologetic and wrote the owner, but we never heard back from anyone.

Gorgeous
The property was decorated beautifully, a mix of modern and antiques. It was well appointed, we had most kitchen items we needed. My suggestions are these: the frying pan needs replaced, use 2 ply toilet tissue. A slightly better collection of cutlery. I highly recommend this as a lovely beach get away.
