Lovely property. This was our second time staying. Awesome private pool, lots of space and quiet. Definitely a great place to hide out from the city. The house has all needed amenities which was great. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood at dusk and watching the stars at night. Charlie is so helpful and very responsive.

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful property in Borrego Springs. Location is great and the house is very spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Charlie is always readily available to respond to questions or concerns. We will likely stay there again!

We rented the property for nearly three weeks. We entered a very clean and well maintained home. There were a few spices, salt and pepper and coffee filters for the drip coffee pot. The kitchen is fully stocked, with regular blender, immersion blender, toaster, etc. It has a great layout and lives very quietly. Since the weather was cooler we did not use the pool. It is unheated but also clean and well maintained. We liked it so well we plan to come back again!

We had a wonderful time at Charlie's home. The house is beautiful, so is the neighborhood, and view of the fairway. We all enjoyed cooling off in the pool and lounging in the backyard. The home was fully stocked making it easy to grab some groceries down the street at the market and cook/eat like we were at home. Charlie was a gracious host and I could not have asked for more! We will most certainly be back!

Our family of four enjoyed the weekend swimming at Charlie’s place. The pool was clean and the backyard provided shade in the afternoon. We had a great time!

Independence Day in our town, which allows fireworks, has gotten insanely scary. We couldn’t have chosen a better escape than this house in Borrego Springs. While hot in the afternoons, the mornings and evenings were very comfortable, and the darkness and quiet made for excellent sleep. Such stars! Fantastic golf. Lovely evening walks. We are returning home rested. revitalized and completely charmed by the desert. We’re already planning our next visit. Thank you, Charlie, for such a great weekend.

You will get more exercise walking from room to room in this house than if you hit the gym! Charlie's place is like a beach-house, and a mansion, and a country home all mixed. The space is so large and open, it is well furnished for total hanging out, safe as can be, comfortable everywhere, and Charlie is a great host. We had some hiccups in our original plan and thanks to him it turned out better. This place is at the top of our list. From shooting dark sky panoramics and deepsky astro photos in a very dark yard, to riding our electric scooters deep out into the desert, this is the ideal place to stay. Quiet. Kind neighbors. Down-to-earth relaxing, perfect. Thanks again Charlie! We'll certainly be returning again and again. This was a smart investment, and its so cool you share this place!

We were there last November, came back in May of this, no doubt we will be visiting again real soon.

We have been visiting Borrego for over 20 years and to able to stay at a nice home in a very nice neighborhood makes it all that more enjoyable! The house is very clean and well maintained. Charles made check in and check out flawless!, if we had any questions , Charles answered the phone with out hesitation! This home is located on a golf course so it's quiet and lush. Wildlife visits and a large lanai that offers all day shade are the patio entertainment. Yep There is a very clean pool. Master Bed was very comfortable. Quiet street. The owner was most helpful when needed. We Hope To return.

We enjoyed the beauty and quiet of Borego. The owner was so helpful and we ate at great places he recommended . The home had everything ever needed: great beds. Tv, and full kitchen.The best part was jumping into a refreshing pool after laying in the sun during the day and watching the stars at night.

Charlie’s place is excellent. Large sprawling house on golf course with pool. Quiet (unless you want to play the cool retro stereo system). A wonderful place to retreat, enjoy nature, and get plenty of sun.

This place was amazing! Charlie was wonderful and helpful when we had questions. The property was clean and made our little vacation so relaxing. Charlie gave us recommendations for dinner at Red Ocotillo and the food was so good. We cannot wait to come back and stay in this lovely house again!!!

Property was clean and neat. Only issue we experienced (and was resolved by the owner in 15 minutes) was the pool from the property was lemonade green. Algae everywhere. I took a picture of it and sent it to the property owner who couldn’t believe it himself and sent the pool man over in minutes. After that it was fun all the way. Had a great time.

We had a wonderful weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location on the DeAnza golf course. The owner Charlie is very communicative and accessible to answer any questions. We will be back for sure!

Charles was a fantastic host. Provided plenty of information about the property, which was exactly as he had disclosed. With a fantastic location, open floor plan and wonderful patio and pool, it was the ideal location to get away with our family for the weekend.We'll definitely be back. We really enjoyed our week in this house. The house is large, comfortable, and had impressive views of the gardens and mountains. The backyard was wonderfully landscaped and had a nice shaded patio to enjoy the views of the pool and the golf course with mountains in the distance. It seemed like a movie stars home in Hollywood. The Borrego Park visitor center major hiking trail heads were just a 10 to 15 minute drive away. The downtown area had good restaurants and were also 15 minutes away. We hope to return some day soon!

Property is located in the DeAnza Country Club and is quite appealing. The owner/manager is exceptionally responsive and helpful. We loved the bird activity in the morning - hooded Orioles, grosbeaks, white-winged dove in particular. The home is spacious and comfortable, lots of windows lining the back for wonderful views. Kitchen is well-stocked, bed/bedding was great, bath had nice towels and ample toiletries. The pool filter was not working and so the pool had accumulated leaves and debris - my husband is describing it as unusable (can’t remember if it’s meant to be heated but it was not comfortable). Still, pool issue was not huge for us but might be for others. Outdoor area was inviting.Although the location is outside of “town” it was not a problem at all; we enjoyed the drive and exploring the attractive homes in the country club. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property!

The house is spacious and feels serene, with comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. The location and setting are great for scenic neighborhood walks and easy access to town. Charles is a super host, very welcoming and responsive!

Charlie’s house is large, comfortably furnished and well-equipped for a getaway. The backyard overlooking the golf course is great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We would definitely return.

Everything was as advertised. Most everything you need is provided. Host was always available to answer questions and is very accommodating. Would definitely recommend, and will stay here again.

Great house, location and host! Lots of room inside and out...the location on the golf course provides a great backdrop while still plenty of privacy. Charles is one of the most responsive hosts we've ever booked with. We are looking forward to coming back.
