A great location on the lake, and close to amenities - perfect for a couples weekend away. Malcolm & Penny were great hosts.

Nothing fancy here. This home and its hosts are old world, warm, welcoming and comfortable. Come here to destress from harsh and fast city life. Slow down and bathe in the sunshine, listen to the gently lapping waters of Lake Macquarie, wander into town along the waterfront or just count shells and paddle about in the shallow waters of your beach. The most stress you'll endure during your stay is having to decide which cafe to hang in.

The unit is situated on lake Macquarie and has a wonderful outlook. There is a small kitchenette and it has the basics, tho a bit crammed in. The unit is close to the Toronto shops and was comfortable to stay in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary weekend at this charming cottage right on the waterfront. The cottage contained everything you could need and the bed was extremely comfortable. Being able to throw a line in right out the front of the cottage was a bonus. It is only a short walk into town where there are fabulous restaurants and boutiques. Wonderful hosts ensure we will be making a return visit!

Our stay at Tranquil Shores was so peaceful and relaxing. Close to waters edge so hubby could cast a line whenever he wanted. The re view over the Lake from the picture window or from the lawn were so relaxing. Short walk to great restaurants, pub and sailing club. Malcolm and Penny very welcoming. Lovely accomodation in a quiet area.Nice and flat as my husband has mobility issues. Just perfect for 2 people and waking up every morning and looking at the lake was beautiful. We were also lucky to have perfect weather for our stay. Malcolm and Penny were perfect hosts.

Thanks for the stay in your perfectly located place. The picture window brings a beautiful view every morning. We launched our surf skis right out of the backyard. It is really as good as it gets.
Well-appointed with air con, fan, a set of quirky comfortable armchairs to watch the water and the boats. What a great place to spend time.

Tidy clean cabin with great view and great spot for fishing. You have a great view during the day and you can see fireworks on Saturday night as well. Malcolm and Penny were very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay.
