The view is beautiful!! Convenient to the beach. Off the beaten path. Rustic but met our needs

Nice place to stay while we were in the area for work.

The house is nice at a glance. The walls were pealing, it smelled musty, ants in one of the rooms, dryer knob was part way broken when I arrived and broke completely halfway through my stay, window sills on the inside growing moss and grime, the sliding door out to the deck didn't close all way because it's so rotted. Luckily the heaters worked so my baby didn't get too cold. My clothes had to be taken to the Laundromat mat for half of my trip which was incredibly irritating since I specifically chose a house with a washer and dryer. If it wasn't for the amazing view and the extremely comfortable beds. Overall it fit my needs aside from the dryer

The view of the ocean from the cabin windows is magnificent! And there is a path to the ocean just outside the door. The cabin, however, is quite shabby inside - dirty carpets, a lamp didn't work. It had a fishy smell or pet odor- we weren't sure. We had to go buy a few candles which improved the smell 100%. Also, the TV may be on it's last leg. It would work for awhile and then freeze. But comfortable beds, hot shower.

Great spot, wonderful views, clean place. My only concern was the sheer amount of deodorizer scent used. We put it outside and the house was ok after a few hours of sitting open. But, o would start again, just would request the scent not to be used. Thanks

The location was ideal and the home was very cozy. The carpet and some of the living room furniture is needing updates.

Dingy little place. Sign asked us to remove shoes but carpet was so dirty we didn't want to walk in it without shoes. Several lightbulbs out, shade missing on ceiling fixture and one lamp. Carpet was stained. Lots of paint chipped off the walls, windows were dirty, recliner didn't work. Sleeps six but not enough dishes for a couple people so we went to some thrift stores and found free dishes to add to the eclectic collection as well as dish towels. Bedroom on ocean side did not have a working lock And was accessible from the deck so we used a pair of tongs in the track so no one could get in the window when we were gone. Sliding door lock does not work either. Laundry was available but only enough soap for three loads and they wanted us to do the sheets. Couch was rock hard. We ended up pulling a deck chair in to sit inside to watch the sunset. Small appliances were really cheap dirty thrift store quality that they didn't clean before putting on the property. Microwave was extremely dirty with grease splattered all over the inside. We had to clean it before we used it. Old Teflon scratched pans. Not enough silverware for 6 people. It is "beach side" but a hell of a walk down and really steep coming back up so elderly mother couldn't make the trek. Views were amazing but that is where the five star rating stops. The photo was taken to indicate it was right on the beach. It is not. Will not stay at any Vacasa properties again. Read all the reviews. Not many good ones.

it was a nice stay . could use a little updating like ceiling fans in bedrooms. but was very nice overall

This is a typical beach house. It has good views and beach access near by. The house is in a great location. We got to see a lot of wildlife right from the porch.

Great view and an original cabin from yesteryear! Cute as a bug and perfect for four adults at most as only one bathroom. I had family with baby and it was perfect as quiet!

The place has fantastic views. Although it claims that pets are not allowed, my family’s allergies were triggered staying here so I will not recommend this place for those that has allergies to pet dander. Otherwise, the view and the price is good.

This home has an awesome view ! It also has a close beach access down a stairway through dense early summer foliage . It leads to the bay at north end of the spit and a walk past Happy Camp takes you to the ocean waves Open the windows and you will hear the glorious sound of the ocean . The home was clean . However the home is in need of tlc. Showing real signs of wear and tear that could be resolved by paint and new flooring . We love this area and would return to this home if it was updated.

When we arrived our cottage was clean. The views cannot be beat and so many wonderful fish restaurants at which to eat. We look forward to staying next year.

It was VERY inconvenient not to have reading LAMPS. I couldnt even reach the pull string in my bedroom. I found NO INSTRUCTIONS on using the TV.....or any device. Normally that would have been a big issue however we were into reading on this trip.

Big patio door to deck with deck chairs. Good working kitchen and laundry appliances.

We enjoyed our stay at the Crab Shack. The view was fantastic! The access to the beach was quick. The front sitting area was nice and bedrooms. Some dings, water spots and this sort of thing. Great launch spot for sightseeing.

Initially I took "before" pictures to record damaged paint and other small issues. Also found the bed has a dip down the middle, the TV cable didn't work, remotes needed batteries, A motel contractor parked a large Uhaul and made getting in & out of the property rather difficult. etc. Pushing all that aside, we enjoyed the location & view and made the best of our vacation. Not sure I'd rent this again.

Great property, amazing view. The place is a little dated, but the beds were comfortable and the house was clean. TV needs to be replace as it was very hard to get it to show picture. Required turning on and off a couple times for it to register. If you are looking for affordable beach front unobstructed views, this is it. Bring crab snares, bucket and clam rake for some tasty fun!

Even though the appliances and furnishings could be updated and some minor repairs and a little love given to the exterior, this is totally a Netarts home. Life is always better at the beach!

Nice location. Washing machine is leaking water on the floor, deck door sketchy and difficult to open, broken blind in sitting area.
