What a wonderful time we had. Our large group including our fury pups, felt like we were hidden away in fairytale as it snowed on Christmas day. The nicely appointed kitchen had everything we needed to celebrate as the fireplace crackled away. The sky high ceilings, large bedrooms & multi level floors were very comfortable for 10 guests, with views of the snow covered mountains & lake from almost every room. The pics don't do this welcoming & spacious retreat justice. We did not all arrive together & with each new arrival entering, their eyes wide & jaws dropped, I was given the gift I had hoped for. The wooded area gave the kids & pups lots of fun in the snow. We look forward to returning at a different season to enjoy this fabulous hidded gem in the forest. Thanks to our host for a great fun filled & unforgettable Christmas family vacation.

My extended family and I stayed here to celebrate a birthday and take the kids to Santa’s Village. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We woke up to beautiful views of the lake, we’re close enough town and yet felt removed from the fray. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice area, and very nice place. Lots of patio space to watch the lake and take in the sunset. Family friendly sleeping arrangements. Close to the amenities in Blue Jay, and a short drive to the village.

Janine was very quick to respond to messages and very helpful. We had a blast and the house is even better in person!

Very quiet and peaceful and everything was as described. Would rent again!

The house was amazing and was best suitable fir multiple families. First floor when you walk in is 3 bedrooms. Second floor has kitchen familly/dining room, bathroom with shower and master with w/ bath. Third floor had another living room with a bedroom and bath w/ shower and fourth floor (bunk room) had bunk beds, bath w/shower and a little living room. The pictures do not do this house justice!! It was amazing !!

This extremely spacious and clean cabin was beautiful! Perfect location with lake view (got to enjoy the full moon!). It was very comfortable for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. Brought our own games but didn’t need to—lots already there! Great kitchen with large dining table that fit all of us. Janine was very nice and quick to respond to our questions. Hope to come back in summer!!

Beautiful house and furnishings. Great Kitchen. Plenty of space. Great sledding in back yard. Close to snow valley and snow tubing. Beautiful views from living area and bedrooms

The property was perfect for three couples and out children. We spent most of our time around the kitchen table admiring the view while the kids played in the downstairs living room. The little hill out back was perfect for sledding. Other guests may want to know that the bunk room is detached with it's own entrance, but it wasn't an issue for us. We hope to come back in the summer!

Property was wonderful and we happened to have a fabulous snow storm. My son said, "the vacation was magical." Thanks to the property owner who was on top of everything. Only concern was the Wi-Fi, which didn't work. However, there is some merit to being unplugged sometimes!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin through Christmas, our families first Holiday away from home. It couldn't have been more perfect. The house was spacious, clean, well stocked, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host, Janine, was responsive and communicated throughout the entire process. The location was breathtaking, and had a large, and well furnished deck to enjoy the sparkling lake. We did lots of cooking in the gourmet kitchen, and enjoyed big family meals at the long dining table all together. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back very soon :)

Beautiful and spacious, it had everything we needed, loved it !!!

My family and I decided to get away for the weekend and decided on this beautiful lakefront house. We had such a great time and enjoyed the house tremendously. It had everything we needed. The decks were absolutely beautiful. Details and communication were clear and consistent from beginning to end. The house was beautiful and there was plenty of rooms to lounge and relax.

The house is beautiful, clean, warm and colorful. Full kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Space to be together for the whole family! Parking was easy and easy access for unloading. Internet was unreliable, cut in and out. Because of association rules we as renters were not allowed to use pathways and trails outside the cabin and near the lake or Lake Arrowhead itself. As a result activities outdoors were non-existent unless we drove elsewhere.

We had a wonderful time at Blue Jay. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. It is the perfect place to relax on the lake and look at the stars at night. Everything was perfect.

This beautiful lakefront home is incredibly spacious, wonderfully decorated, and lovingly maintained. Our family enjoyed every minute on the gorgeous lake view decks and at the private dock just step away. We could not have asked for a better Lake arrowhead property (and we have stayed at many over the years) that met all of our needs and more! The kitchen is fabulous and incredibly well stocked, the spacious rooms are sparkling clean, and the owners have thoughtfully included games, toys, etc. for the whole family. Janine is responsive and communicates clearly, and we feel very fortunate to have discovered this fantastic property. We hope to return very soon!

We had the time of our lives at Janine’s property. The deck is the most magical, relaxing place to look at the water and trees. Beautiful home and the dock and kayaks are perfect. Such a nice little nook on lake arrowhead. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Janine for such a lovely getaway for our family!

The property was immaculate, outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. We had eight adults (parents, three children and their spouses) and four grandchildren. We had a few questions and the owner (Janine) was responsive by text, which was much appreciated. Regarding the house itself, the main balcony was perfect - the center of activities, with all its seating areas, used differently, morning noon and night. The sunrise on a cool morning with fog on the lake was like a movie. Candlelight dinners were also special. The balcony also includes a world class barbecue. The kitchen is fully stocked with glassware, china and 3 sets of silverware! The house has most refrigerated and dry staples, so look before you shop. The main living room, between the kitchen and then main balcony is warm and comfortable. We had fires in the fireplace on cool nights and the atmosphere was magical. There are three bedrooms and a full (separate shower and tub) on the top floor - the one you enter from the parking area. The main floor has a master suite with a walk in closet and a huge bathroom. The next level (third of four) has a large playroom with sectional couches and comfortable chairs as well as a smaller bedroom with a twin bed and a trundle below. One family with 2 adults and 2 small children used the entire floor and it worked well. Finally, one couple took the bunk room and used an inflatable bed (there are 2 bunk beds). The privacy worked for them. On the outside there is a fine sand beach and the dock with kayaks, life jackets and ladder access to the water. We found other beaches to walk to, took the lake tour, and had takeout pizza from LouEddies. The house flowed and overflowed with gathering options. The decorating is in my favorite colors with cozy accents. Lake Arrowhead village was quite crowded and busy, but the house on Paradise Bay was a quiet paradise for us for six days.

We had a fabulous time at this gorgeous house directly on the lake. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The views are to die for. We loved taking the kayaks out to the Lone Pine Island. There is a great easy hike that starts near the house and goes to the village. Janine was a pleasure. We hope to come back.

My wife, kids and I loved this lake front home. The description on the website is accurate and but doesn't do it justice with its multiple decks and amazing lake views, private beach volley ball area, private doc with loads of toys for playing on the lake. Our host, Janine, was very friendly and responsive to our needs, the home was immaculate, the kitchen was amazing and remarkably well equipped which worked great for us since we love to cook. The home is also very centrally located near town, for shopping or a bite to eat at local restaurants. By far one of our favorite trips! We are looking forward to returning in the near future.

Great home with nice big deck.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. The pictures don’t do it justice. Lots of rooms and areas for kids to get away and the view from the deck is so nice and relaxing. You get afternoon shade which makes grilling out and enjoying the deck perfect. Lots of stairs to get from main level down to dock so be prepared to get some exercise, but this would not stop us from staying here again. We loved it!!!

We had a fantastic stay in this home! The house was beautiful and comfortable and the location was amazing. We loved being able to use the dock and the easy access the lake. Janine was a wonderful host and made the stay wonderful and easy. We would love to come back!

Our family need to get away while still remaining safe during these times. This house was clean and had everything you could want to have a great long weekend. We used the provided Kayaks and my son had a great time fishing off the dock. We were able to have a very lovely get away and felt that we were still able to maintain our safety while enjoying this beautiful house. Note to families with babies/toddlers. We brought a bunch of baby gates and this really helped with the stairs. I felt like if I didn't have them I would have been nervous the baby would fall. This of course would be true of any multi level house but we have no stairs at our home so for us this was a concern.

This home has it all plus more! The decks plus the beach were our absolute favorite plus the completely stocked kitchen. It even has a waffle maker! Before we booked we were worried about the room layout since we were all adult couples. It all worked out perfectly once we got there and saw how awesome the home is laid out. Here is the room layout in case you need it: 1st floor (main floor) one queen bed room with windows, one queen bed room with balcony facing the lake, one bed room with 2 twins and blackout shades. One shared full bathroom with dual sinks. 2nd floor (kitchen floor) master bedroom and bathroom room with king bed plus deck facing the lake. Fully stocked kitchen and gas fireplace. Plus an additional bathroom with a shower that acts as the “communal bathroom”. This floor has a huge deck with plenty of seating for 15+ people and the brand new grill. 3rd floor: smaller living area attached to the room with the twin bed plus private bath and laundry room. This floor has a huge covered deck favoring the lake with seating and a hammock. You can access the deck from the twin room or the living room. This is the perfect “kids area” because there are games and the living room is worry free. 4th floor: This is the bunk room. I thought the bunk room would be the “worst room” for one couple to share and boy was I wrong! It has a ton of room, a private bath, a ping pong table, a private entrance and good sized deck facing the lake with seating. It was absolutely heavenly. The beach area is a large communal space, but apparently no one ever uses it so we got to take over the whole thing and had a great day kayaking, jumping off the dock and playing outdoor games. The only thing I would add to Janine’s house is a few beach umbrellas (and honestly she had so much stuff she may have had them and we didn’t see them). The location couldn’t have been better. 15 min walk to the grocery store, through the woods along the lake. This house is perfect for a big group and we will be back. Thank you Janine!

This was a perfect family vacation. We enjoyed this lake front property along with kayaking and fishing from the private dock.

Great stay. Kids and parents were able to have fun and relax. Pictures do not do this house justice. Two full size decks to relax on. Deck off main living space has many comfy seats to relax on. The second deck ended up being the kid hangout. They actually took the whole room below equipped with comfy couch, table that seated six, fireplace, room with two twin beds, full bath, and a deck with hammock and other seating. This was their spot. Adults enjoyed main floor with fully equipped kitchen, livingroom, and deck with BBQ. This floor also offered a full bath and master bedroom with full bath. All appliances were topnotch. The kids and parents enjoyed kayaking to a local island several times a day. We enjoyed the walk to the village as well. There are life jackets, water noodles, squirt guns, and even some chairs. House was equipped with many movies, games, puzzles, linens, beds, and just about everything you would need. Hope to visit again soon.
