The room was very spacious and had a mini fridge which was great. There was a communal kitchen area with cooking things and basic pantry items for use so we could make our own breakfast. The view out over the restaurant to the beach was beautiful and we loved the pink decor. We had an incredible encounter with a sloth right on the beach at the restaurant attached to the accomodation.

The pictures of the signs at the front aren't accurate anymore but it was still ok to find the place using google maps. There can be some noise from the restaurants / bars below, but this stopped early enough each night so was not a major issue for us.

The room was really really nice. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

The restaurant was very pricey. And I think the checkout time is too early as opposed to the check in time.

it was great staying at Amimodo beach rooms! the staff were very nice and helpful, and the room was spacious and pleasant. there was a terrace overlooking the ocean and there is a really good restaurant as well.

the only issue was that they didn’t clean our room everyday. they cleaned it every second, or even third day, which got a bit uncomfortable with all the sand from the beach

Belen from front desk was very welcoming and friendly. Room clean and hot water worked perfectly. Cant beat the locations. Breakfast was great as well. The room is good for a one night stay.

No AC so room can get very stuffy, especially when the sun is coming through. Our room was facing the street so you can hear everything.

Perfectly located just away the center of the city and right by the beach, friendly and welcoming staff, restaurant is delicious (a bit pricier than your average restaurant in CR), hot water and AC working properly. 6-13 min drive away from amazing beaches. I would come back.

We stayed in 2 different rooms and some part could use an upgrade. The sliding door to the terrace didn’t lock, the window in the bathroom wouldn’t close (mosquitos!!!!).

Perfect Location next to the beach and walking distance to the town and extremely comfortable room which suited us perfectly. Staff were laid back and friendly.

Great location, just a little bit away from the main streets noise but possibile to reach the city center walking in less than 5 minutes. Located in front of the seaside and from the rooms you have a nice view (direct beach entrance) Our room had the fridge There's a common kitchen with available stoles and free coffee Little balcony with seaview and a big tree with a lot of monkey. Very easy access to the little trail that takes to Cocles beach (very nice) in about 15-20 mins Good Italian restaurant below and delicious cocktails

We didn't get a daily room cleaning It would have been fair to have breakfast included for the same rate Important to notice that in the beach just in front is not possible to swing as there is the reef. You just need to walk few meters to find nice places to swim

Loud music at night. Loud base line music from next door until late late at night. Loft was unbearably hot and stuffy during the day. We paid for two nights and left after the first night. Don’t understand how this place gets such a good rating.

the staff was really friendly, and the room was very comfortable. very cute restaurant on the beach. not a swimming beach but a nice place to walk. across the street from a fantastic French bakery.

There are only two rooms at the property. One is the first one in the pictures, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. the other is on the street, the balcony is non existent, very loud. it would be very easy to make two different choices to rent each room, with accurate pictures for both. I paid what to me was a nice sum of money because I wanted to treat myself to the ocean view, and so I felt like it was very false advertising that the room was different than the first pictures. I’m writing this so you are aware there are two and have the ability to book the one you want, although I’m sure you have to contact them directly. Also the bathroom had a sewage smell from the drain, but I am used to that in foreign countries and it was ok if I kept the bathroom door closed.

Ground floor apartment is way too noisy to be able to sleep. I did not rest at all, as the apt faces (and only few neters away) the main car road with active traffic all night. Secondly, the room borders the kitchen of the restaurant (thin walls) where the staff is active and loud from 6am till 11pm

you can't beat the location. it's right by the beach with a beach front restaurant

the location was amazing, the hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. never did know who was in charge but overall very nice. the beach front access was to die for.

Location was fantastic and the staff were always on hand. Our balcony door lock was broken but the owner fixed it immediately when I told her about it. We had pizza from downstairs and it was really good. There are only 3 units upstairs, 2 for rent and the owners unit which is in the middle. Shared kitchen was great and everything was super clean and available.

this was the worst place we slept in costa rica. the bathroom was neglected and had an awful smell. the room was located above the restaurant's kitchen and the restaurant's garbage so you can imagine the smell and noise. more of that the room was located few meters from the main road and we heard all the traffic all night. the room was separated to up and down sections. the upper section had a door with only a net without glass so you need to imagine again the noise we had all the night. don't go there!! the place had better rooms but nobody wanted to help us and make things better.

Perfect location if you want a quiet chilled stay on the beach yet close enough to the heart of Puerto Viejo for bars restaurants and party atmosphere. rooms are spacious, with the right amenities overall great value for money!

The restaurant food price was quite high with little vegetarian options, I was offered a salad🙄

Really nice host and staff in a great location. AC worked great, room was a nice size and small balcony was adequate.

Shared kitchen not really set up for cooking full meals but OK for breakfasts etc.
