This was our favorite place we have stayed in the US! The views are spectacular and reminded us of our visits to Switzerland. The home had very comfortable beds and plenty of room to hang out. The hot tub was a nice amenity and had views as well. We enjoyed the location and the shuttle stops right outside. Unlike other homes in Telluride, this place had little hiking trails and a big grassy area in the back for kids and pets to run and play. When we visit again, this will be the place we stay!

Very cute, well-stocked condo that was a much better value than any area hotel. Was off-season for Telluride so it felt like we had the whole town to ourselves. The community hot tub was modern and cozy. Just steps from our condo, we had the hot tub to ourselves all weekend. This would be the ideal place to stay during skiing season.

Very nice place easy to find and great communication with the owner,no issues and would definitely stay again.

Location is about as perfect as you could hope for. Responsive and helpful host. All amenities readily available. Everything as advertised. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location to the slopes with outstanding views and access to the town. The onsite garage and hot tub were also ideal.

4 of us wanted ski-in/out in Telluride…any closer and you’d be sleeping in the lift hut! Close to everything and easy parking too. Place was clean, hot tub was great and had a view of the slopes. John was a great and communicative host! Will stay here again when we come back!

John was so accommodating and welcomed my husband and I personally upon arrival; he was even thrilled to host our German shepherd! The property was perfectly located next to slope 7 and was also within an easy walking distance of town. We loved taking our dog on a walk every morning to get coffee, and we especially enjoyed how easy it was to get to the gondola for an opening ski weekend! The hot tub was also a huge plus. The condo was also clean and easy to navigate. We would definitely stay again! Thanks John!

John was very responsive and helpful. The property is in a prime location and downtown is walkable. Slopes right out of the front door and a great view out of the balcony. Jacuzzi and barbecues are steps away. Doesn’t get much better!

The place was perfect - the host made time to meet us upon our arrival and walk us through anything we needed, as well as gave us some local recommendations.

This place was perfect for our group, it was right off the river trail which was an east less than 10 min walk to town. It was the perfect jumping off point for all our hikes that were either in town or off the gondola.

It was good. Easy access and very close to everything. We love and enjoyed. John met us at check in time and explain and showed everything that need during stay. Quite and close to mountain where you can enjoy the view from balcony. Walking distance to river trail and Gondola station (10 min walk). We stayed with friends and family and cooked food also. Would recommended and stay again next time. Thank you John !

Property was great!

The host was incredibly attentive. He met us at the property and personally walked us through everything. We parked the car in the garage (rare for Telluride) and just left it there the entire stay! Everything in town is an easy walk along the beautiful river trail. We saw 50+ elk, trout in the stream, and the most beautiful fall colors! The gondola is an easy walk and is free. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time in Telluride! This townhome was the prefect stay as a couple. As we were there a while (2 weeks), was important to have a stocked kitchen and this didn't disappoint! Hot tub was nice to chill out in after long days. The location is perfect to walk to town or to walk the river path. Can see that during ski season would also be great being right at the bottom of a lift. John is a great host- super communicative and helpful in pointing us to great restaurants and answering any questions we had throughout our stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience. The property owner was great and the location was tucked up against the mountain. Steps away from bike/footpath and local hot spots.

Upon entering residence we realized it was dated. Ok. Shaggy Gold carpeting. Very old linens bathroom and bedroom linens. Owner brought over better pillows. Wasn’t quite aware that the second bedrooms sink was in the bedroom not the bathroom. Old dilapidated furniture. No nightstands in bedrooms. The deck furniture poor, one of two chairs was broken. Apparently, the big issue was the size of the queen beds . Sure looked small for a queen . Thought about using the loft bedroom as a backup but found it inaccessible. To gain entrance a hard wooden ladder had to be extended into the hallway. Thus restricting egress from the area in case if an emergency. Didn’t seem up to code to me . I was glad that I had not brought along a few adult kids. An accident waiting to happen. On the bright side, great location for us and s very nice greeting by the owner. Will not rent again. Need better quality (or just up to date) linens and furniture that isn’t half broken. Felt taken advantage of in that it’s a great location and will make others overlook deficiencies. Just think if he updated the place and added a king bed?

It was a trip from a flat, hot, smoldering Florida, to high mountains, cool weather, full of adventure, gorgeous Telluride, CO. The condo is very well located, and has many amenities, clean, and comfortable. The owner is local, so he is very helpful with any questions you may have. We enjoyed our stay very much, and will return. This is our 5th trip here, because we just can't have enough of Telluride.

Our family of 4 really loved this condo! It was clean, comfortable and an excellent location. The kitchen was well appointed making cooking easy. John was an excellent host and gave us directions and suggestions for restaurants and outings. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Telluride!

Location and condo/town home were perfect. Easy walk into town, very close to the gondola, can walk to grocery store. Right next to running/bike trail. Highly recommend!

Could not have picked a better location. Had a little snafu trying to get our very tall vehicle under the consul awning, but John helped us circumvent this by serving as our personal porter. Great service. What a lovely place!

Overall solid place, comfy beds, and nice layout. Slightly dated but really great value for the money and you absolutely cannot beat the location. Will definitely be back. Thanks for everything.

Everything was great for our one night ski in ski out stay at Telluride. The only thing that would of been super helpful would be having a guest book in the unit as a guide for the codes and internet, instead of texting with the host for all the information.

Me and my friends had a blast staying at this condo. Awesome location next to Coonskin lift. Great spot for the hot tub as well.

Great location

Our family sprung a short-notice stay on John, yet was immediately responsive, accomodating, and wanted to ensure he met us at the property to get us settled in. Just an overall great experience...and the location is superb!

John's place is one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to all the sites we wanted to see. Also close to a market which was handy, and few steps to dozens of restaurants and cafes. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful home. When listing says "just bring yourself" it isn't lying, cooked a great meal for the family and all utensils and pans were provided, which rarely happens in most Rentals. Thank you for everything John, will choose you again in the near future.

Stayed at John's lodge residence for 4 days in October. The host is very responsive and engaging. The lodge is located within walking distance of Colorado Street. It was very clean and well furnished. The residence is a vertical 3 level) lodge with the kitchen/living area on the top, the bedrooms on the 2nd floor, and the garage & laundry facilities on level 1. Overall a nice place to stay.
