Love the area close to everything.

Fantastic location. We’ve stayed here twice- one as me and my husband and once with our three year old. If you’re a couple or a single person, definitely stay here- it’s awesome. Close to the river and downtown and it’ll have everything you need (yes, they had a hair dryer and all the bath basics). The patio is nice for sitting out in the evening. Slight bit challenging with a young kiddo if they’re still into baths (drain plug for tub didn’t work). But overall and for taking in the town, it’s a great spot.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience, location, and comfy accommodations in our first visit to Salida! Step out the door to the heart of all the fun! Love the set up to secure our pups when we left for a bit and the fenced courtyard was amazingly convenient and cozy. AND, a reserved parking spot! Everything We needed and more. We will return!

Perfect location right downtown within walking distance to restaurant and river. No air conditioning in unit but we managed okay Lower oven didn’t work but we made do. He came right away when we called. Overall I would stay there again

We love staying at Roccos when we visit Salida. Everything is walkable from the place and its super friendly for dogs.

This is my second stay in Salida, and I’ve visited for day trips a few other times. The location of this property is excellent…steps from the river, restaurants, ICE CREAM, everything. It’s perfect location means there is some noise drifting in from the walkway outside, but it’s not intrusive. The property is clean, well-maintained, and well-appointed. Just book it and enjoy!!

Hate to say this cuz now everyone will know. This place was awesome. Right in the heart of downtown but also 20 yards from the river. Lots of food live bands bars and on the river. We will be back

I was not familiar with Salida when I booked this stay (chose for price and proximity to family). It was a wonderful surprise to be close to all of Salida and to have such a cute, clean place. She. We return to visit family again I will try and book here again.

We had a wonderful weekend here. It is right in the heart of Salida - very easy to walk to food, drinks, the Steamplant, river, etc.

Wonderful location right in town, walking distance from everything you need. Funky layout but completely understandable in a historic building. Accommodations were as advertised nice outdoor space. We wished the weather would have been warmer so we could have taken advantage of if.

Three great things about this property: 1. Dog friendly yet very clean 2. Walk out your door and you're in downtown Salida 3. Walk out your door to riverside and mountain trails

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very well appointed, especially in the kitchen. We found the bed to be super comfortable and the living room is great for hanging out. The mud room and yard worked very well for our dog too. The location of this property can not be beat and with the designated parking spot, everything is really easy and convenient with Rocco's. We are regular visitors to Salida and very much look forward to staying here again! Thanks!

We stayed here for a ski weekend with our two dogs. Easy to access and the parking spot worked well. The fenced courtyard worked well for our dogs. The place was clean and the bed was comfy. We had easy access to trails to walk the dogs and all of downtown Salida. The place is along the side of a pedestrian walkway so we did keep the curtains closed which made it fairly dark inside, but enough lighting was provided to offset that. Would stay here again.

Great location, clean, great bathroom and sink amenities. Our only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable! We would stay here again.. let us know if you get a new bed .. we're in

Great rental location for my wife and I. Is right downtown can walk to anywhere downtown in a couple minutes or jump on the trail that runs along the river. Patio is nice and house is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Rocco's by the River is a fabulous spot. Bring your alarm clock because it's a dark spot that's coziness ensures a good night sleep but because there is limited natural light in the bedroom, we highly recommend setting an alarm. The location is perfect - 50' from the boat ramp, as central as you can get, with easy access to S Mountain, shops, restaurants, coffee shops and groceries.

My daughter, her boyfriend, their pup and I met up at this amazing property for a long weekend! Great location from COS/Denver airport and Palisade. GREAT location for the quaint and historic town of Salida - everything is within walking distance! Highly recommend!

As described, you are moments from nearly everything downtown Salida. Cause of the location you hear some noises during the day but I experienced none at night. The patio and mudroom for the dog was great. Updated and modern in the context of a unique layout. Good communication too which I needed when arriving. Make sure you have the directions when arriving. All in all was great. Though very dog friendly they do restrict them off furniture and beds. I always like to know that when I’m booking with my dog.

We had an absolutely lovely weekend get away with this property. We got to walk around downtown and visit all the different shops and restaurants etc. We also did the trail along the river and it was absolutely perfect day for it. This location is outstanding for not only taking in nature but also supporting a local artist in town. They also had the most perfect set up for a dog at a rental! And I have rented a lot of VRBO‘s. The mudroom set up is so good - you never have to worry about a thing … such as your dog breaking the rules and getting on furniture. Treat yourself to this rental if you want to have a great time in downtown Salida and easy access to lots of different kinds of hikes. Oh and let’s not forget the Hot Springs nearby (short drive) that’s always a blast, too.

Loved this place! It is steps away from the river; the shops and restaurants of beautiful Salida. It is a little dark inside, but we were thankful for the patio and it being gorgeous outside!

Right in the heart of Salida. Just a short 50 yard walk to the park, the river, bars, restaurants. We loved it. All amenities were there and our little dog was very attentive to the p.assers by - so we had t keep the curtains closed!
