Trying to find a place big enough for our children, nieces and nephews is no easy feat. KUDZU CABIN was the perfect fit! Not only were the accommodations just right for our group, it allowed for the inclusion of our daughter and her family and brother and his family who live in Blairsville. The double decker dock provided excellent space for everyone to gather and accommodated my brothers speedboat as well as a pontoon. Nottley Lake is beautiful and the home well situated and well stocked with everything needed to enjoy the clear, warm lake. Communications with the owners went very smoothly, check-in the easiest I have experienced. You will not regret renting Kudzu Cabin for a family gathering. One word of caution, the steps from the driveway level down to the lake access are a little steep and care should be taken if you choose to go that way rather than from basement level. My husband fell and cut himself pretty bad. He should have been wearing sneakers rather than his Italian loafers. Just an FYI. KUDZU CABIN contributed to an AMAZING family get together with beautiful memories.

Worked out great for family ages 3-70. Nice Place

Great location, great house, awesome owners. We had our annual family vacation with 10 adults. Everyone had a bed and bathroom. Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to spread out. Amazing outdoor porches. Fully equipped kitchen that even had the crockpot I forgot - super handy. Lots provided for lake adventures - kayaks, life vests, dock chairs and the big lake float was used daily. We didn't rent a boat, but probably will for a day next time. Blairsville is a quick drive and has everything you need. Local wineries are great. THANK YOU for the memories.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kudzu Cabin. The house was large enough for our party of 10; plenty of beds, several sitting areas, well-quipped kitchen, more than enough bathrooms, and great covered outdoor areas. Access to the dock concerned us a little as one of our sons is 6 weeks out from major back surgery but it turned out to be very manageable and almost a blessing in disguise. We all got our steps in over the week. We spend a lot of time at the boat dock; floating and swimming in the lake. Communication with the owner was very easy and we received prompt replies to our questions. We’re already talking about next year; hopefully at the same cabin. Definitely would recommend this cabin.

Great house! Great porches! Very relaxing! We are already planning to return!

We enjoyed our family get together at the cabin in June. There was plenty of room for everyone from grandparents to toddler. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We've been vacationing on the lake for many years and unfortunately this was the first time that it rained all week. We still made the best of it and fit it some boating and swim time in between the rain showers. The dock is great although it is a bit of a trek from the house down to the dock. Since the cabin is located up in a cove it was nice not to have much boat traffic going by. I recommend this cabin to other families.

Our vacation to Nottely Lake was absolutely wonderful and Kudzu Cabin was a large part of the reason! The cabin is decorated very tastefully and the wooded setting provided lots of wildlife encounters. In the mornings, we sat on the main deck sipping our coffee and listening to the world wake up- woodpeckers pecking, turkey’s calling and many other species of birds saying good morning. After days of hanging on the huge dock and pontooning, we gathered on the back porch and enjoyed a crackling fire each night. We were serenaded by frogs, whippoorwills and owls. We have vacationed in many accommodations but this cabin provided the most well appointed kitchen we have ever encountered. We all love to cook and were so very pleased with the high quality implements provided at this cabin. This was the perfect place to meet our kids and grands (we live in Mississippi and they reside in Kentucky) and we are making plans to meet at Kudzu Cabin again soon. 💗
