Great stay!

The condo was exactly as advertised! Very short stroll to a beautiful beach! Clean and well stocked kitchen Will plan to return!

Had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed was there. Will stay again in the future.

It was my second time in Kiawah with my fiancé, this time bringing a family member of mine. The location of this apartment is basically steps away from the boardwalk to the beach and was perfect size for what we needed. No issues at all. Definitely wish we could have stayed longer and we will keep this place in mind if we come back in the future.

The location was awesome. Steps from the beach. Walking/biking distance from the Nest and Loggerheads. The unit was clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed Coffee maker (standard 10 cup basket type), fridge and ice maker (slow to make ice). If you use a lot of ice bring some. The unit is in a heavily wooded area. I would assume great in the heat but I would brighten the unit up with all light colors, white trim, light color bedding. We needed lights during the day. I would change from carpet to tile as well. But that is all cosmetic stuff. We didn't use the Murphy bed but the unit is definitely doable for 4. The bathroom situation (shower and sink separate from toilet) is more functional for more people. I would definitely stay here again. Things to know, though tempting, there are pools near by but off limits to nonmembers. However, the restaurants/bars near the pools are open to all. We ate at both the Nest (take out) and Loggerheads (fun pool/resort vibe). We also went to Salty Dog for sunset. Great location and a short drive away. I would also recommend a stop by Estuary Brewing on the way on to Kiawah to stock up the fridge. Definitely bring or rent bikes. Biking on the beach is a must do. Kiawah is beautiful and great for birding and appreciating nature (alligators, night time crab safaris, sea turtle nests!)

This is a beautiful, clean and fully equipped villa! The locations is absolutely PERFECT! You are almost on the beach..so close! Super close to Night Heron Park as well which has a pool, playground and convenience store/restuarant. We spent hours riding bikes around Kiawah. We rented bikes from the suggestion from the owner. They were waiting for us when we checked in! Perfect! We spent hours on the beach as well and the cute little deck of the villa. Brendan was an exceptional host! Very accomodating! The king bed was SO comfy! Again...PERFECT! We will be back again and again!!!

Location of the condo is wonderful - in the heart of the Kiawah action and right by the beach. You can walk to the splash pad, grab coffee at The Nest, and get to everything easily which we loved. Condo was as described and accurately depicted in photos - not fancy, could use some updating, but is clean enough and was comfortable. We especially liked the comfy bed! Thanks for hosting us!

Nice location and very roomy-met our needs very well!

We would absolutely stay here again. Everything was in great condition with lots of luxury touches throughout the property, better than expected. The mattresses were quality memory foam, nicer than what you'd find in premium hotels. The walk to the beach is about as short as you can find on the island. Great patio with three comfortable seats. I was really impressed with all the little touches that made for a pleasant stay. The owners seem to have perfected setting the condo up for guests. One minor point is that the pools at Night Heron park can only be accessed if you book through the Kiawah Resort, VRBO does not count. The ocean was warm enough that we swam in it comfortably, so we would not have used the pool anyway.

What a great trip we had! Close to the beach and all the amenities we needed. Would go back!

Property was just okay. The cleanliness could have been better. There were a few dead bugs in the silverware drawer so we didn't use the kitchen other than the frig. There were quite a few spider webs in and outside the place. The one on the back porch kept us from that area. Also the place needs some electrical work. The outlets in the bathroom and bedroom didn't work. We still had a nice time but checked out after the first night because we just wanted to sleep in our own beds. Location was nice, only a 2 minute walk to the beach. Also wanted to note that even though we were on the first floor, we still had to climb a flight of steep steps. This may be difficult for small kids or elderly.

Great location! Very easy access to the beach. Condo is clean and comfortable. We'll be back!

This is a wonderful place to stay for a family getaway. Convenient to the beach and nice accommodations.

We were very pleased with the property. It’s close proximity to beach access was great! We also had a visit to Charleston which was really close by. Definitely planning another visit with more of our family.

The villa is in a great location with a very short walk to the beach. My wife and I invited a friend to join us so having the Murphy bed was a big plus. The king size bed in the bedroom was comfortable too. I did contact the owner (Brendan) during my stay to inform him of some minor issues. During our conversation he was appreciative and glad that I contacted him. Overall we had a great visit to Kiawah Island and even though we had some minor issues, it has in no way deterred me from renting this villa again! Stan Coleman

Our villa was fantastic! Exactly as advertised. Perfect location with two minute walk to the beach. Well equipped kitchen, great TV WiFi and great bed. Our host Brendan was perfect. He helped us get an early check in and his Welcome Guide was very helpful. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We were quite pleased with our stay. The cottage is not large but it is so thoughtfully laid out that our husband, child and I never felt cramped. The owner promptly answered our questions.

The owner was very responsive to a minor concern that we had no. The location it was great, near the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

Our clean, upgraded property was what we expected having stayed at Windswept Villa before, but we had very little hot water in the bathroom. We had to stagger our showers from am to pm yo have enough. Also, I've never stayed in a rental with so little towels. We had 4 towels, 4 wash clothes for 2 people for 5 days. Had to wash (in cold water) to have enough.

Property was perfect and met all our needs. Owner was very accommodating. Great stay.

Loved this property, it was perfect for my husband and myself. The central Kiawah location and the closeness to the beach was wonderful. This unit, as well as the entire windswept villa properties were well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. Appreciated the cooking basics, and the selection of books and puzzles that were provided. And I loved the artwork on the walls too! This was our first trip to Kiawah- we hope to visit again sooner than later and would definitely stay here again.

Property was clean and quiet and the rental process was good. Very short stroll to a great beach. Just a small issue - perhaps a grab bar could be installed in the tub/shower area?

The title of the review says it all. The unit was spotless. The bed and furniture were comfortable. The property owner was super easy to deal with and very responsive. If you've stayed in Kiawah before and have dealt with the resort or other property managers you'll understand what I'm saying. I would rent this unit again and highly recommend it.

Close to the beach and amazing golf courses

Great location, only 2 minute walk to the beach. Spacious, clean. Could use new porch furniture but otherwise, everything was quite nice.

Great little one bedroom for a couple. Close to beach. Excellent communication with owners, couldn’t ask for more.
