We decided to do a last-minute Easter getaway (2 - families of 5 and Grandmom). Kate was extremely responsive, helpful and organized. Upon arrival, the home was sparkling clean and ready for guests. The house/property is well stocked and well cared for. Our children loved the board games, ping-pong table, and foosball table (and the upstairs double bunk room, of course). Weather was a bit chilly during out stay, but the kids enjoyed the basketball net and playground in the community. We hope to visit again so we can enjoy the water activities and more outdoor fun. Absolutely a 5 star experience!

Kate was wonderful to work with. The house was clean was large enough for all 14 of us to enjoy. Close to restaurants and Game World where we all played laser tag!

A group of 11 of us traveled for our annual Friendsgiving celebration, and it was perfect. If anything, everything you see in the photos is even better in person! So many details are simply perfection by the host, ranging from communication, to bedding, to entertainment, to cooking, to relaxing. If you’re even considering this property…just book it!

Thank you Kate and Dave!! We gave our children a Christmas gift for a week at this beach house. We have 3 married daughters, a son who's engaged for Nov, a teenage son, twelve yr old daughter and 4 beautiful grand children, one whose in the nicu. He wasn't due until August, but made an early appearance. Our daughter and son-in-law were able to come for two nights and have a break from running to the nicu and just relax! Our days were spend crabbing off the back deck, kayaking, going to the beach,which was only a mile from the house. The men loved that there was a boat lift for our son-in-laws boat and this grandmother loved that there was a fence along the deck to protect our granddaughters from the canal. Also alot of wonderful restaurants in the area!! We had a wonderful time!! Kate and Dave thought of everything to make their house comfortable and very clean!! Thanks so much for sharing it with us!! The house was well stocked for just about any activity you'd want. From fishing to kayaking to games and movies, Foosball, ping pong, bicycling, etc. We brought 3 families with 8 kids and had a blast! Very close to OC and the Delaware beaches. Great restaurants mins away. Beautiful home. Lots of very thoughtful touches.

After a few years, our family continued the tradition of gathering at the beach to celebrate Thanksgiving. We were fortunate to have found a lovely home to rent. Very clean, accommodations met all we needed and Kate was so gracious. We are thankful that she shared her home with us and made us feel very welcome. We would love to return for another get together

The property was everything we could ask for. Kids really enjoyed the bunk bed room and kept themselves entertained (but most of all out of trouble). We were able to use the provided chairs and wagon from the garage when we went to the beach. Fishing right outside the backyard was so convenient and at night we enjoyed family time at the fire pit. Kate is an extremely helpful host during booking and even during our stay. Our family had such a great time and will certainly come back and stay at this property.

The house was absolutely incredible and everything we expected. There was plenty of room for 8 adults throughout. The sunsets were beautiful, we walked down Lincoln ave. in the evening to get a better view but still was good at the home. We are dog people so we made sure we were out front for evening walks for Mona, George and Lola . Neighbors are friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely will be renting again at some point! After a wedding in Philly our family decided to book a vacation to the Delaware shore. There were 13 of us total including 9 adults and 4 kids (12, 4, 3, and 1). The house is exactly as described and everyone loved it. My 3 year old and I went kayaking most mornings and fished/crabbed off the dock which he loved. Everything is close including the beach, water park, go karts, shopping, and great restaurants. The host was extremely responsive and helped us quickly with minor issues upon arrival. The community pool and playground were a nice amenity to have. I would only point out that the crib mattress in the master bedroom upstairs is a bit flimsy so I would recommend bringing your own travel crib. We would consider booking this property again!

Everything was perfect from renting, checking in and to checking out. The property was beautiful and clean and extremely quiet. We really appreciated that when we were upstairs we couldn't hear the babies crying downstairs. Kate was always responsive to questions and even gave us the option of checking in early when the property was ready. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil we needed and a great selection of spices. The only complaint was that a week was not long enough!!!

There are beach supplies and bikes to use. Loved the ping pong table and kids room. Garage fridge was handy. Definitely will rent again!

We have been doing a yearly trip to the Delaware beaches for the last 5 years. This house was a great combination of lots of assets (water access, pool, well stocked for kids) and made everyone in our multi generation family feel like there was something they could do. It is a great find! The owners are very detail oriented and it shows.

My family just got back yesterday from their stay at the Cleveland Beach Pad and we all miss is terribly! Kate & Dave’s home is so comfortable, big enough for my crazy family, and had anything we could’ve needed. The house is so bright and beautifully decorated, and we never felt like we were on top of each other. It’s so close to Coastal Highway, but Cape Windsor is so quiet & peaceful. It really is the best of everything & several people are already talking about going back. Thanks so much, Kate & Dave!!

Everything was perfect from top to bottom. The property is exactly how it is listed. The house was very clean and the layout perfect for my family. There was enough space for everyone to be comfortable and enjoy themselves. Communication with Kate was perfect. Such a peaceful magical place. Very clean, updated with beautiful decor, and a relaxing view! Our family truly enjoyed ourselves! Even though our stay was not during peek season, there was still plenty to do. Kate and Dave were so kind and easily accessible if we had any questions! The house and location- If you can believe it, the pictures do not do the house justice. Every room is tastefully decorated with a lot of thought and consideration to what people may need during their stay. When you walk in you get the views from the four season indoor sitting porch which is pretty spectacular. The kitchen is well appointed and there are plenty of sitting spaces both at the kitchen island, dining room table, and sitting room which are all close enough together that you can have your own space while still enjoying conversation and company from the other areas. The living room is comfortable and there are a ton of games for all ages to enjoy. The garage is full of helpful items as well as a ping pong table that we really enjoyed! Each bedroom is a good size with some of the highlights being the master bedroom on the second floor, the bunk bed/game room, and the master bedroom on the first floor. The master on the second floor has a side sitting area with a crib and couch. The windows open up to a beautiful view, but fear not the blinds close to make things perfectly blackout dark so your little one can get a full nights sleep (trust me ours slept so well with naps and bedtime!). The bathroom is spacious so we had an easy and dare I say fun time bathing our children in the large bathtub and enjoyed our own showers with the double shower head. The game room is so fun- foosball, two sets of bunk beds, toys in the closet, tv with video games, what more could you ask for? The master on the first floor had many additional items a family staying with a child would need such as a high chair, pack n play etc. We loved the outdoor area fire pit and enjoying kayaking and relaxing outside. Our first day there was a little rainy, windy and overcast but it truly did not matter as the views were great and the house had so much to offer. The location itself is very ideal- away from the chaos of other nearby towns/beaches but close enough to everything. There are also some really amazing restaurants nearby so we definitely got our seafood fix! About Kate- the entire booking process Kate was beyond helpful, responsive, and proactive. Beautiful house in picture perfect order, right on the water. We took day trips to Bethany Beach (6 miles north), Ocean City (just south), and Assateague Island (a short drive away). On our one rainy day the kids were entertained with the ping pong table, foosball, board games, and Roku TV. Lots of restaurants around meant less cooking and cleanup than usual. A great place to get away!

The house had a perfect open layout for a large group. The house was beautiful, clean and so comfortable! Kate was a caring and perfect host who checked-in periodically to make sure all was well. We were there in the winter but would enjoy coming back in season.

We had the best time and enjoyed this house so much we are already planning our trip for next year! We were all amazed at how much was available for us in the house! We loved the fire pit and heated floor!!

Nothing was left out of this beautiful home! Every detail was done with care. We felt comfortable from the second we walked through the door! The treats on the counter were just what we needed after our drive. We loved that the weather at night was perfect to use the fire table on the deck! Our rental experience here was amazing. The process from the initial booking through checkout was done with ease. The house is awesome, with plenty of room for a large family. It comes fully equipped with dishes, linens, games, televisions, crabbing cages, etc... The house is beautiful and clean and it sits in on the water. The owner made herself readily available if we had any needs and made sure the house was stocked with everything we needed for our holiday getaway. I would strongly recommend this home as a vacation rental!

Kate was incredibly supportive before and during our stay. The home looked even better than it did in the photos. The pics did not do it justice. We wanted to mostly cook while there, and there were plenty of cooking supplies available for us. The neighborhood was so quiet and beautiful, and conveniently located near everything (grocery store, restaurants, beaches, etc.). There was so much space that we already spoke with some relatives about using this home in future family getaways. It's a treasure!!
