Gary was just the most gracious and accommodating host! Our stay at his place was perfect. We had everything we needed, and the home was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, spices and quality appliances. The bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable beds, and the baths were nicely updated. We were positioned in an incredible location and enjoyed our daily walks along the boardwalk. While at home, the open air living was very refreshing and the 3 porches were such a relaxing extension of the living space. For a stay on Balboa Peninsula, we really don’t think you can beat this rental for the price. Thank you Gary!

Paradise Beach House is just as pretty as pictured with tons of light and air thanks to the three decks off the bedrooms and living area. It is extremely well equipped compared to most vacation rentals and is in a great location for short or long terms stays. Gary was the perfect host attentive to all of our needs and clearly wanted us to enjoy our time at Newport Beach. As conveniently located as it is near the restaurants and shops, we heard little noise at night and felt safe at all hours.

My wife and I stayed here for a change of pace after working from home the last eight months on the east coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. 1 block from the beach with views of the ocean and Catalina. Walking the beach every afternoon enjoying the beautiful and varied sunsets. Gary was an exceptional host. the place was fully appointed with everything we needed and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. This location is exactly as promised and more.

This was the perfect location for our sister retreat. It is close the beach, nice restaurants and a grocery store. The condo is beautiful, clean, with well stocked kitchen, bath and beach towels. The owner of the property Gary was very hospitable meeting us giving to give a tour of the place and tutorial on the Apple TV. He even reached out to see how our visit was going. This is a great place to stay

Gary’s beach house was the perfect getaway for our family. We loved everything about it.

We loved the proximity to the beach and grocery store. Gary, the owner, made sure we were well taken care. A very accommodating host. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out. The 3 balconies provided multiple ways to enjoy the view the beach, city and actually have privacy.

We had a great time renting Gary’s place!! It was in a perfect location, close to the beach, stores, and restaurants! The house was beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed plus some. Gary was a great help to answer any questions and he even saved a parking space on the street for us for our 2nd car upon arrival!! Thanks for a great week!! We will be back!

After pouring over dozens of Newport Beach rental properties, I returned to the first property I spotted and it did not disappoint. Gary's property is very accurately described, but I found that every aspect was even better than advertised. I chose this property because of the proximity to the beach, ample bedrooms and bathrooms, and the incredible THREE decks. The 2nd/3rd floor vantage was incredible, with two offering lovely views of the ocean. The rear deck even had a sliver of ocean visible. The entire home is well-appointed, immaculate, and tastefully decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need, including extras like spices, olive oil, etc. Each bathroom and the kitchen had both soap and hand sanitizer, and the upstairs bathrooms had aloe for after-sun care. Gary met us to show us the ropes and he could not have been more friendly and inviting. He gifted us with chips and salsa...a nice touch! He also was available for any questions and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. For the price, this rental is the absolute best, and I hope we can return someday. It was truly a perfect long weekend getaway. Thank you Gary!

Gary’s beach house was exactly what we needed for our quick stay in the OC. We were driving our daughter down to UCI to get settled in at her dorm. It was a 15 minute drive to Campus, 30 seconds to the beach and in the middle of everything we wanted to check out. We only utilized the front balcony off the family room, but if we would’ve stayed longer, the other 2 decks would’ve been great as well! The bed in the Master was comfy, the shower had GREAT water pressure and the Carport was large enough to fit our XL SUV. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to really enjoy the home. Gary’s hospitality was second to none & our best experience in the 10 years of utilizing VRBO. We can’t wait until our next stay in Gary’s wonderful Beach Retreat!

My family and I enjoyed staying at Gary’s property. We have a two year old and a 6 month old, and all felt comfortable. The location is amazing, a block from the beach and close to a grocery store and restaurants for take-out. Gary also supplies everything you need for the beach and was super responsive to any questions or needs we had. Note that there isn’t AC in his unit so it did get warm, but Gary brought over extra fans for us to make sure we were comfortable. My only piece of feedback is I wish check in and house information would have been sent via email or available at the home in a binder, especially during this time with Covid instead of getting instructions over the phone or needing to meet in person.

Gary was so accommodating. His house is beautiful and had everything we needed. You really could've just brought our clothes, because the house had everything else we needed. Thanks Gary for a wonderful vaca.

Gary was a wonderful host and this property was amazing. It was a VERY short walk to the beach, which was stunning. We had breakfast and dinner on the decks every night. My kids, 4 and 6, had a blast on the boogie boards provided by Gary. The rooms were gorgeous, beds comfortable, and ocean breezes cooled it all down at night. Excellent location, wonderful host, we definitely hope to go back again!

I can’t give enough positive accolades about our experience renting the property from Gary in Newport Beach. The rental itself was adorable, very clean, with lovely decor and touches - we all looked forward to coming back from a long day at the beautiful beach ( just steps from the rental!!) and relaxing in this cozy, light and airy and friendly home. It was a perfect location— close to the beach as well as close to restaurants and markets for morning sweet roll runs!! Our landlord Gary was so accessible- he was there to greet us as well as to say goodbye—He was warm and hospitable and created a very homey atmosphere and we truly wanted for nothing. It was a perfect vacation respite from everything and even our TEEN BOYS were sad to leave!! We give it 11 out of 10, and a big shout out to Gary for really making us all feel comfortable and safe. Thank you!!! Highly highly recommend!!

My family needed a little change of scenery after being quarantined for the last couple of months. The beach house was absolutely perfect! Wonderful floor plan, great location close to restaurants and shopping, as well as steps from the beach. Gary was a fantastic host. A few days away from home was exactly what we needed. Can't wait to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautifully decorated 3 bedroom beach house . When we first saw house from outside we thought it was small,but was pleasantly surprised when we entered . It was so huge inside and exceptionally clean. We came for our daughters wedding and had company from out of town during day and into evenings . This house had a perfect layout for entertaining , and was walking distance to beach, grocery store, restaurants and other shops . We didn't even rent a car for everything was so close and lyft/ uber were available if we needed to go out of area. Our daughter and son in law were able to use carport when they came to visit. We will surely love to rent this house again in future!

Everything went very smoothly thanks to Gary. The place is beautiful, clean and only a block from the beach, with a nice view from the balconies. Nice apple TV/blueray/cable setup. Awesome location just steps away from fun, good and groceries. Gary was courteous and responsive throughout.

I’m actually a local, but since we don’t live ON the coast we thought it would be fun to spend my husband’s birthday weekend there. Gary’s place is well situated on the Newport Coast. Close to everything and the pictures are accurate to what you get. Gary was responsive to all of my questions and easy to work with. Key pick-up/drop off was no problem and all in all we had a great time. If you’re looking for a well-appointed Newport vacation home, then you’ve found it right here.

The perfect house in Newport Beach. A couple houses away from the beach. Nice views from the balcony. Very comfortable and spacious house. Plenty of balcony space. Fully equipped. Art painting and decor on all the walls. Shops and restaurants walking distance. I would go back in heartbeat. You don't want to leave this place.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. Walking distance to whatever you may need. We did have a few issues. We had to call in the evening of our first day to have our linens delivered and had to make our own beds. There was no soap for the dishwasher or hand soap in one of the bathrooms. Each bathroom had only one roll of toilet paper. An extra roll would have bern nice. Two of the deck sliders did not lock. Otherwise we had a nice stay.

We had some issues when we arrived and Teresa at BurrWhite rentals was really helpful by immediately addressing the situation. The owner, Gary, also stepped in quickly even though he was across the globe in Europe. There is no AC, which would normally be fine so close to the beach but during our visit the temp was around or above 90 the entire time. Most rentals in that area do not have AC so while this is not unusual, it's not great. The proximity to the beach and nature of the neighborhood allowed our kids to go to and from the water without issue. There are no busy streets to cross and a great calm beach (as calm as it can be for the ocean). There is a boardwalk right along the beach too for riding bikes or walking.

We couldn't have been happier with Gary's cooperation and his attention to our needs. The beach house was immaculate, furnishings and bedding well above average. Short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The decks added another level of enjoyment to our stay. We had stayed at another property previously that did not have access to any outdoor or rooftop decks. Gary's property provided both. The management company was very accommodating and responded quickly to our needs. Would definitely recommend property to friends and return ourselves.

We just stayed at Gary's Beach House and it definitely was paradise. The location is excellent. It is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shopping, nail salons, etc. This is a must because there is limited parking in Newport Beach. The neighbors were very kind and helpful to us. There were 5 females in our group and having two full bathrooms and 3 patios/balconies were great. Everyone had as much privacy as they wanted. Gary was available by phone for many questions from all five of us. Everything you need to live comfortably is provided. From hair dryers to coffee maker, this allows you to pack light. We loved it! I will definitely rent from Gary the next time I am in Newport Beach. This Beach House is highly recommended by all five of us!
