We were looking for a place to call home for a month before moving into our new home and Wandering Soul was perfect in every way. Gina and Andrew are incredible hosts. The home was amazingly clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we could wish for. We strongly recommend this wonderful property

This place is such a find! Easy access to tons of activities, great place to relax and beautifully furnished. We loved relaxing on the screened in porch, playing in the yard with the kids and fishing in the back pond was a hit!

We just stayed for 2nd consecutive summer. Beautifully decorated with all the necessary provisions. Great yard and pond for fishing, walkable to sawyer yet quiet and peaceful. Owners / managers are so thoughtful and responsive. We will be back

This is a wonderful space to decompress. I rented it on my own to get some work done and the only thing I was worried about was how often people mentioned it was kid-friendly. Usually places that have seen a lot of kids are worse for the wear, but this home was so pristine it looked like no one had ever been in it before. The pictures are very accurate and the space is very tastefully decorated, the hosts are generous and easy to communicate with, and the grounds are immaculately kept. I really enjoyed eating tomatoes from the vine in the garden. The upstairs is very “kid-friendly” but it was also easy to temporarily move the (albeit very lovely) kid toys into a bedroom and set up a yoga mat. The house is in a cul-de-sac, so there are neighbors and some new construction going on, but it was mostly quiet and all the space at the back of the house is very private. It was also a quick walk to the market for anything you might need food-wise. Everything in the home is very high-end, which is rare (and very generous!). I definitely felt like I got more than my money’s worth.

This property is beautiful. Truly everything is better than described. The home itself is new, sparkling clean, modern and beautiful. The spaces are ideal for multiple generations (kids loft, first floor master for grandparents who don't like stairs. peaceful porch and screened in porch for parents looking for quiet). The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with all the stuff you need including s'more roasting sticks, cleaning supplies, and even a tall pitcher for making a tall glass of lemonade. We relaxed and tried some fishing, some nearby go-carts and ice cream, climbed the dunes, and had an a fantastic relaxing time. Don't stay anywhere else. (Side note: We had a bit of trouble with local restaurants not doing carryout orders due to being short staffed and we weren't comfortable dining in-person due to the summer crowds. So plan ahead for meal time if you have kids).

The home was spotless and it had everything needed for a stress free stay. Everything was minutes away. The home was spacious with plenty of comfortable beds for a family of 6.

What a cozy, homey, and beautiful cottage. I spent the weekend here with a couple of girlfriends. This home was absolutely perfect. From the quietness of the neighborhood, this home felt like a getaway. The yard was everything you could want with a screened in porch, bonfire, hammock, and a little canoe tucked away. The house was decorated perfectly. The rooms were beautiful. I could not say more positive thoughts about this stay. Absolutely would love to visit here again in the future. A great host that was very responsive. Thank you for the best stay and a wonderful weekend!

This home really surprised us with the interior design & finishes. The extra touches are everywhere. We have rented a lot of homes and this is the best stocked we have ever visited. The prairie setting with pond was very cool and kids loved exploring.

Would highly recommend this home. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch for coffee time in the morning. The master bedroom is on the first floor with two additional bedrooms upstairs. The back yard has a nice hammock strung between two trees and a good looking firepit further back in the yard. It is a quiet setting among mature trees. We had a wonderful 5 night stay and would love to return someday.

Great place to relax and recharge. Easy to entertaini a small gathering of friends and family. Walking distance to a lovely ramble of upscale shopping, grocery, brewery and more.

This place is absolutely amazing! The house is exactly as the pictures show. Very clean, smells fresh, amazingly decorated and very cozy. The beds are very comfortable. We cooked large meals for our family and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We made s’mores out at the fire pit and fished in the pond. It made for an incredible week. The house and the location is so relaxing and was just what we were looking for. If this place is available it is definitely worth booking! Walking distance to downtown Saywer and we checked out Greenbush and the coffee shop. It was great!

Great backyard/porch to hang outside. Close to the Dunes and overall a good weekend getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay! This house is modern, clean and cozy, with spacious living space and wonderful farmhouse decor. It was the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing adult friends getaway. We enjoyed the living room and seating area for dinners and games, the fireplace for late night conversation, the screen porch for morning coffee, and the backyard bonfire. Local restaurant and entertainment recommendations were provided. We loved walking to Greenbush brewery and local food from Molino Tortilleria and Granor Farms. Thanks, Wandering Soul!

Enjoyed the house and property clean and easy!

This was our second time staying at Wandering Soul, and we absolutely love it! Every detail is perfect for creating a cozy and relaxing vacation. The home is beautiful and spacious with a fantastic play area for kids upstairs. The screened in porch and yard are beautiful in the fall, and we enjoyed walking around the pond and canoeing in the evenings. We had a wonderful time, and we can't wait for our next visit!

My wife and I were blown away by how beautiful this house was and the attention to detail in making this a wonderful stay! We took the canoe out every evening, ate cookies and listened to music on the screened-in porch and made s’mores out in the fire pit! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and have some quality time with your family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We still wanted to get away despite Covid and this house was perfect. Very close to the lake and town. We spent a lot of time outside by the fire pit and playing corn hole. Everything was beautiful!

The house and property were beautiful and well cared for and the owners were very friendly and responsive. This home was perfectly located to downtown Sawyer, yet you felt like you lived in the country. It had all of the amenities you could want and we loved every minute of our stay.

Very Clean! All that we needed to function as a family was available. Communication with our contact was perfect. Spacious enough for our kids to adventure on there own in a safe location. The house, wow just spot on! I wish We lived there! We had s great experience, thank you!

We had an amazing time! If you decide not to rent on the lake, this is a great vacation home. Clean, comfortable and updated accommodations. Perfect for a family. The neighborhood was very quiet and quaint. Walking distance to downtown Sawyer. Our kids had a blast fishing in pond behind the house. We will be back!

I stayed here with my wife and three young kids in addition to my parents (the grandparents). The bunk beds were great for the kids and the host and property were amazing. The interior of the house is better than the pictures - it truly is very well done. I took the kids in the canoe on the pond in the back and we explored around the property. We made a bonfire every night and had smores. There are a few restaurants nearby that we visited that were pretty good. The host had everything stocked from coffee & tea to soap and even games for the kids. We also enjoyed the screened in porch to read or just relax and listen to nature. Overall, it was a great stay and we would highly recommend. The only critical thing I can possibly think of is that the temperature on the 2nd floor is significantly warmer than the bottom floor, at least during our very hot stay, but it wasn't anything that significantly affected us since we were able to turn up the A/C and fans and there were plenty of blanket options for the bedroom on the bottom floor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If this place is available, book it!! The house itself had everything you could ever need and was so beautifully decorated! The location was perfect- a short walk to a brewery, market and coffee shop. 10 min drive to wineries! I will definitely be coming back!
