Gorgeous views from the property in any direction you look. The house was exceptionally clean, likely the cleanest rental property I have ever stayed at. Host also provides firewood which is a very nice bonus. Hoping to return next year for more hiking and exploration!

We spent a week in this perfect cabin for us. Everything was provided. Very private and a beautiful location. Hot tub was a great plus. Great communication with the owners. We had a great time.

Absolutely blissful stay

This cabin is amazing in every way! Beds are very comfortable, they provide fans and plenty of linens as well as lots of towels. The hot tub and fire fit allow you to have a true mountain experience. The kitchen has everything you need and the grill works great. We truly enjoyed walking the river bank, the water is absolutely gorgeous . This cabin is away from it all yet so close to everything. We had a wonderful time!!! The views from the cabin are truly breathtaking and make for the perfect place to enjoy and relax after spending the days seeing all the beautiful attractions near by.

If you are looking for an absolutely gorgeous and peaceful location completely surrounded by mountains and trees next to a river, then I highly recommend this "Mountain Paradise". The hosts were wonderful and even though they reside on the property, you are so secluded you wouldn't even know. The cabin was perfect for our group of 3 adults with stunning views from every window. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

NOTHING disappointed me about this home. Everyday we walked to the river to enjoy the gorgeous views and to revel in the beauty before us. We saw golden and bald eagles as well as the salmon spawning in the river. Our hosts quickly became friends as we called upon them for numerous requests and suggestions. There aren't enough words to describe the extent they went to make our stay wonderful.

My partner and our dog stayed here for 2 wks in august. We loved the cabin so much we wondered how much it would take for Antoinette and Grant to sell it to us! The interior is perfect for 4 adults. Antoinette has thought of everything so we had everything we needed for a 2 wks stay. The beds are very comfortable. The cabin stays nice and cool inside even if there is a heat wave (close the windows during the day). The yard is perfectly secluded for your pet. Our dog is a bit reactive and having this yard surrounded by trees was perfect for her to be able to run and fetch her frisbee. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful spaceous backyard deck and grilled a lot of our meals. The hot tub is fantastic for the chilly evenings and mornings. The cabin is a 15 min drive to Golden and also makes a great base camp for plenty of other parks and activities nearby like Glacier, Revelstoke, Yoho, Kootenay, Kicking Horse. It's totally feasible to do day trips to Lake Louise as well but it was nice to spend some time on the other side of the Rockies for this trip. There is no lack of outdoorsy things to do here and we kept discovering new amazing hikes or lakes every day that we explored. Beyond the backyard is the Blaeberry River which is an expansive area that the dog also loved to fetch and my partner enjoyed fishing. Antoinette and Grant were always very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Absolutely 5 stars and highly recommend this cabin for your next getaway!

All we can say about our stay at Riverhouse is that the property and owners will not disappoint. This cabin is so well done and set up. But its the view and peace and quiet that really make this stay special. Grant & Antoinette are two gems that make the stay extra special. We will be back one day!

This beautiful property has absolutely everything you need. The cabin is so clean, welcoming and well set up, we were just amazed. The location is veey private and quiet with a beautiful yard and hottub we seriously enjoyed (the stars at night are spectacular from there!). The mountain river is cold and beautiful with sweeping mountain views. The entire process was easy - this is the kind of property you dream of when you rent a VRBO. Highly recommend!

Our stay in the River House was excellent. The property is nicely updated. It was the cleanest and most well stocked place we've ever been to. Our hosts Grant & Antoinette who are at their house across this rental are super nice and helpful. My only issue was that I wished I had stayed longer.

This was everything and more that I was looking for. Amazing views, very peaceful , phenomenal hosts and comfy beds. I mention that because I am in a lot of hotels in the course of a year for business and I find a lot of the beds are not overly comfortable. These definitely were. I highly recommend this property to anyone!

Five stars all around. The cabin is beautiful, clean, spacious, and had absolutely everything we needed plus more. There were five adults - two couples and one single - and the space worked great. We felt very secluded and enjoyed our privacy but also very welcomed by the hosts to reach out at anytime as they were right next door. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Big thanks to Antionette and Grant for giving us a home away from home for a few days!

Easy to find (great directions). Fabulous location. Cabin had everything we could need. Outside was well equipped with a hot tub, outdoor fire pit + wood. Host was on scene promptly to refill propane for the BBQ. Would recommend.

We all loved our stay at this lovely cabin. Antionette and Grant were so kind. The landscape is beautiful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy.

we really enjoyed watching a bear eating berries in the back yard the hosts were very helpful. one stepping stone to the driveway was broken and our special needs daughter fell and banged up her knee! i would also suggest a railing on the back deck for people with limited mobility, i would have liked to see a recliner in the!! living room easier to get up and out of !do not get mr wrong i would stay here again. !

Just the perfect place to enjoy serene BC wilderness with all sorts of comfort! Grant and Antoinette are really amiable hosts and have created a little paradise right next to the amazing Blaeberry river. Having a BBQ whilst watching hummingbirds and listening to nature‘s silence - what more could you want? Maybe enjoying the hot tub after a day out hiking in the mountains!

If you are looking for a great mountain escape in the pods but have all the luxury of a great cabin that has everything this is the place. It’s right on the Blaeberry River and only 20 minutes or less to Golden. Antoinette and Grant were fantastic host and can tell they take great detail to making your stay the best. The cabin is so clean and has everything from games and toys to well stocked kitchen. Our 3 year old daughter said it was her favorite place and lived the back yard to play with the toys that were there. The fire pit and hot tub were just the icing on the cake What a great place to escape and have 360 degree mountain top views and heat the river from the cabin We have already planned a return trip! This place is the best

The River House is a beautiful home base for your explorations.

The cabin was even better than pictures which isn’t always the case. The location was not until he busiest of areas; we prefer not to vacation with hoards of tourists. The location was a great central spot to go on all of our adventures which we documented in the book for future guests. The hosts were more than accommodating and helpful with any questions and also provided suggestions. If you don’t book this you’re nuts!!
