We had a great time at this home. There were 5 adults and 3 teens. We played lots of board games, (which were available on site), watched football games, and movies. The indoor hot tub was enjoyable. The men played pool on the pool table while the women enjoyed a nice walk in the area. Remember to look at the list of items to take with you or be ready to purchase food and other essentials.

Mattresses were awful. Cockroach in kitchen. Coffee maker (keurig) leaked the whole time. Hot tub area not very clean. Shower hot water ran out pretty quickly. Upstairs toilet handle broken. House itself was great. Lots of games and included tv channels and lots of options. Location was great.

While this property has a lot of potential, the cleaning company should be fired! The hot tub could not be used when we arrived because the temperature didn’t rise until Saturday morning. There are no fireplace utensils so be careful if a log comes off the grate. I wish I had read the reviews before I booked!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Being this is a nonrefundable property, don't make the mistake I did. I partly read the reviews but after booking and reading the reviews, there was nothing I could do. Let me begin by saying, we made amazing family memories; however this house was not anywhere near what it "should've been". The master bathroom toilet was broke, 2/3 bathrooms did not have hot water, including the showers. I was unable to use the shower that worked because the shower head did not adjust, and the water was spraying too high above my head in the stand up shower. The master bathroom also had a really bad leak from the skyline. The house smelled moldy because I'm assuming with the hot tub inside it was partly inevitable. The chimney door was closed (never disclosed that it would be closed or to be aware), we almost had a very bad situation happen, but thankfully my dad was able to essentially climb into the chimney to open it while giving himself a couple burn marks. However, we saved the house. Most of the GFI outlets need replaced so some of the outlets did not work, also some of the lights were not working. My grandfather was with us and there is no railing to go into the living room so we had to set up a couple chairs for him to somewhat safely get down to the living room. Again this could be a beautiful home and has so much potential! It needs some SERIOUS TLC. Again look at other properties, you will be disappointed with this one.

We had an amazing weekend at Deep Creek. The house was not completely isolated but felt like we were the only ones around. The indoor hot tub was perfect, considering it rained all weekend!

This is off the beaten track. And that's exactly what we wanted! Plenty to do in other parts of the lake. WISP was great for the kids and boat rentals were easy. The dock was a huge hit for great fishing and sun bathing!
