We had such a great time! Everyone involved was just great! We stayed in San Ignacio for a couple of days, and Corrina actually came and had breakfast with us at the resort before we went to the villa, and answered any questions we had before we arrived! I can't compliment Marilyn enough! She was readily available to us on whatsapp, from long before our trip, and any time we needed her throughout our stay! She came through with great recommendations, and booked a couple excursions for us. She truly made the trip more enjoyable, and took a lot of worry out of our hands! (The catching us at the grocery on the way to the villa from secret beach was a pretty slick move!) Can't forget Dino! Hes just a great giy and we always enjoyed the boat rides, and he was on top of the maintenance of the property. We loved the villa! It was exactly as advertised, and was more than enough room for our group of 8. It was the people that really made the property stand out though! Thank you for helping us with an unforgettable trip!

Our 12 family and friends had a wonderful time celebrating at Playa Villa. It was our first time in Belize and we are so glad we chose this property to serve as our base for all of the fun San Pedro and Ambergris had to offer. I'll start off with things that need to be taken into consideration by other travelers. To start we were double booked for the first night which we didn't find out about until the night before we were set to arrive. I did read another review that this happened previously. Hopefully they can figure out how to keep this from happening again in the future. They put us up in the next door hotel for the first night and transported our bags over to the house in the morning. The biggest bummer about the property was WIFI. It was nearly non existent throughout the trip. If you require WIFI access to work remotely I highly recommend that you get a hotspot prior to arrival. There are no blackout or even semi-blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The morning light pours in like a sledgehammer and makes sleeping in nearly impossible. If you like getting up early, great! If not, bring a sleeping mask. The pool attached to the house is not really a pool. It's a calf deep place to sit and cool down. Because the owner of the property also owns the next door hotel, you have access to their traditional pool which was a very welcome benefit. There are no mirrors or clothes storage in the four non-on suite bedrooms. Just beds and night stands. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of. Now the good stuff. Staff support was great. Solany the house person helped coordinate our stay from start to finish. She also helped coordinate picking up groceries prior to heading over. We did most of our excursion coordination with the next door hotel manager. Every excursion they set us up with (diving, snorkeling, fishing, etc.) was fantastic and the highlight of the trip. Dino the boat driver was extremely responsive to special requests that did not line up with the regular shuttle times. I highly recommend hiring Chef Terressa with Island Chef. She cooked two wonderful meals each day at a very affordable rate. Coordinating the menu with her was very easy and she accommodated multiple dietary restrictions. The massages at the hotel are a must! The entire island is quiet and at no time did we feel unsafe. The house had more than enough space for all 12 of us. We all would highly recommend this property to anyone interested.

We've stayed at Victoria House before & so this location was quite different, but it was perfect!! Honestly, the 2 minute water taxi ride to town with Dino is so easy & convenient. Corinna was amazing & super helpful with everything from scheduling our island flights to booking massage therapists to come to the house one morning. There were constantly people working on the grounds & the housekeeping service was excellent each day. We had groceries delivered the day we arrived & scheduled a chef to make dinner two different nights. Terressa the chef did such a wonderful job! The food was exceptional & exactly what we had asked for. She even owns the new restaurant next door to the house & we went there for breakfast one morning. Again, delicious. Our entire group had the very best time & I would not have changed a thing!

I booked the 6 bedroom Villa for a visit 6/4-6/7/17 for a Corporate Retreat consisting of 6 associates from my firm. The booking process went smoothly and everyone was extremely excited to visit Belize. Upon arrival at the Villa, Corrina pulled me aside to let me know she had accidently double-booked the 6 bedroom Villa (it was already occupied) and could we stay in the 4 bedroom Villa and were any of the associates couples? They werent, so bunking together really wasnt an option. We were offered an additional 2 bedrooms in a house behind the 2 beachfront houses (there were also other people living in that house). The highlight of the trip, other than Belize being beautiful, was Dino, who is awesome and fun and friendly as well as our Chef - the food was delicious. This was an incredibly disappointing experience for our group and nothing was done to rectify the situation. I would not book this particular property again.

Great time with good friends! Corrina, what can I say, all expectations were met as I figured they would be. When we got into San Pedro, a guy at the airport handed me a phone and you were on the other end telling me that our group of 18 would be picked up by taxi and brought to "Da Office." There awaiting us were golf carts Corrina had delivered for us. Dino was there at "Da Office" to pick up our luggage to bring across the bay to the homes while we had drinks for the evening at "Da Office" until we made our way to the homes. We stayed in the 6 and 4 bedroom homes and they are nice!!! Expect to rise early in the mornings because the sun comes through the rooms early. Dino, you are The Man! Anything we asked of him, he attended to. Late one night as it rained outside, us LSU Fans got our butts handed to us by OSU in the CWS, watching the game at Da Office. About 11 o'clock that night in the rain, I called Dino to come get us. Within 15 minutes he came across the bay, raincoat on, and picked us all up. We got soaked on the way home, but for us Cajuns, we are use to wet weather in Louisiana and are always seeking adventures. Speaking of Coon-Asses, Theresa once lived in Louisiana, and we know for a fact she can cook! Ask for the Fish Tacos, they are the bomb! One night we had Lobster / Grouper & Jalapeno Shrimp, another night we had Chicken and Pork Stews. Morning breakfast was great, just wish we would've brought some Community Coffee for Mrs. Theresa as she asked if we did. She was missing that coffee from back home and the next time I go I will pack some for her. My only draw-back is Wi-Fi is spotty at times. We wanted to watch LSU play on ESPN for the CWS, but were not able to link in. Instead of staying at home, and on a computer or electronic device, please get out and see all of what San Pedro has to offer. Many places do have quality free Wi-Fi service. The folks there are nice, pleasant to speak with and more than helpful if you have questions. Ask for Chucky at Da Office, a great little spot on the bay across from the homes, great food, great drinks. If you buy alcohol from Duty Free in Belize City, make sure they box it for you and have your receipts ready as you pass thru customs. If not, they will take it from your bags. Perfect spot for large groups if you don't mind a 5 minute water taxi to San Pedro. Safe, Secure, & Private if that's what you seek. Pools never close, stay up as long as you want, its your home. I will return here.
