Property was fine, the “extra’s” were not. TV never worked- no cable reception; other issues: ie. missing kayak paddle, bike tire not holding air, paddle boards rough shape) Prompt attention did occur when requesting needed paper goods, towels, garbage bags. More attention needed for basic upkeep: lightbulbs, remote batteries, sheets need replacement.

We loved our stay at Kaibo. This is our 3rd stay in the area and our first at this condo. Nicely decorated unit equipped with everything we needed and loved having all the "toys"...bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards. We enjoy this area because it is quiet and calm with great beach access. The water here is not quite as pretty as in other areas of the island but it is still very clear. Love that it is shallow and calm which is perfect for the little ones. Great communication ahead of time with the owner. We will look forward to returning!

I don’t even know where to begin to explain how wonderful our stay was here! First let me just start with how wonderful the owner was with communication🙌 He responds faster than any other owner I have encountered since using VRBO. The unit was so clean and in a quiet corner of the beach. All water toys in the unit came in handy for my family of 5. We utilized the bicycles and rode our bikes down to Rum Point and back. Kaibo Yacht club feels like a hidden community tucked into the North Side! So leisurely and friendly! Kaibo staff were always so helpful. The coffee shop was adorable and the girls there were so kind❤️ The pier at Kaibo made it super easy for our stingray excursion and the water taxi!! I would definitely recommend and I will be staying here again!

A friend and I stayed in this 2BR Kaibo condo for 5 days in December. It has been a few years since I have been to GC and I was surprised at how much busier it was since my last trip. I first came to GC about 30yrs ago when it was quiet and gorgeous. It’s still beautiful but not so quiet. It has really been built up and is like being in Indy traffic at 5:00 many times of the day. Regardless, I’m already planning my next return trip. If you are looking for the “old-quiet”GC, Kaibo will not disappoint. Yes, 7Mile beach is one of the most beautiful in the world, however, it’s gotten BUSY!! Kaibo was like a resetting respite. It was quiet.Idid not hear or see anyone younger than 30. Both my friend and I have 4 children each, so it’s not like we are allergic to them. This was the PERFECT place to go if you just want to BE. This is NOT the place to go if you want to have late-night bar crawls or on a budget. GC is $$$$. I paid $5 US for a can of Coke and a banana. Granted, all islands and all groceries have increased. GC restaurants are top notch.Our Kaibo stay was like Groundhog’s Day. We would wake up in the morning, have coffee on beachft screened porch, listening to palms swaying in the wind…talk for hours, make lunch and go to the pool which was steps away. For 3 days in a row, we had the pool/hot tub to ourselves or shared w another couple. It recharged my soul. Other than a 9/10 for cleaning, it was perfect. You will want a car if staying here. We will go back!!

The condo was beautiful and clean. It was right on the beach. The pool was fantastic! There were only a few other people on the beach and in the pool so it was not crowded at all. We walked to the Kaibo restaurant that has beautiful seating on the beach. There are plenty of stingray, snorkeling, fishing and other excursions that leave from the Kaibo pier in front of the condo. We thought the bikes and kayaks were a very nice addition to the many other amenities. The beach was calm clear and warm, couldn’t ask for anything better! We will do this again for sure.

Location is great near Rum Point. Much quieter part of the island vs. 7 mile beach area which is what our family prefers. You could walk or kayak to Starfish Point, catch charters from Rum Point. Unit was as described in listing and met all of our needs.

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful condo!! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! We hope to make it back to Cayman and stay at this amazing place!

We absolutely loved our experience at this property! It was very quiet and peaceful! We got up in the morning and there is a public park right next door that brought the best sunrises right on the beach! There was not a lot of people around and left plenty of opportunities to relax in the pool or right outside the condo in the sun. The condo was perfect and fit the four of us very well! We cooked a few times there and the condo is well stocked for everything you could possibly need. There are a few restaurants around but most require driving if you plan on going out to eat, however the drive all the way around the island does not take very long at all. Starfish point is extremely close and it was a great spot to go out to! We didn’t require contacting the host during our stay because of how well it was prepared and had information posted right in the condo to let you know about all the amenities available. Check in and check out was seamless! Would definitely go back! Thanks again to the hosts for allowing us to be there for the week!

We loved our stay at Kaibo/Rum Point. The condo was impressively clean, truly spotless. It is well equipped, and you walk right out onto the beach. There was only one bike rather than two, which was a bit disappointing, but all other items/equipment was included. Paddle boarding was a lot of fun with so many star fish and other neat things to see.

Our stay at Rum Point truly surpassed all of our expectations. The area itself is quiet and peaceful, much less touristy than the western side of the island. The accommodations were clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay. It was easy for my older parents to simply walk out onto the beach and enjoy the sun or take a gentle swim. My fiancé and I enjoyed the nearby restaurant and kayaking over to starfish point. The woman who manages the property greeted us warmly and even brought us fantastic freshly caught fish one evening. Would gladly return in the future!

The property was out of town but close to many of the island's activities, walked every morning to Starfish point and caught boat to stingray island out our back door. All the amenities were as described. We plan on going back. Highly recommend for a laid back vacation.

Great water view from our condo’s 2 lounge chairs ! Very convenient location to Kaibo restaurant and coffee shop, pool /hot tub and Starfish Point! We also really enjoyed the bikes, kayaks & paddle board. Condo was very clean & we liked that everything was provided including bath items, beach towels, etc.

We loved our stay at this condo!! Very clean and stocked well. The beach is private and and fun to walk along. Maybe not the best swimming beach but still great. Lots of good beaches very close by. All of it was better than we even expected. Thank you for having us :)

The area and people were wonderful! Highly recommend it.

All the instructions provided were accurate and easy to understand. The location was as stated walk right out to beach. Not as good as seven mile okay to kayak, or just to lounge. We did not go in. We cooked our own food. Condo was very clean. Plenty of parking. Overall very enjoyable and comfortable stay. If my Mom who is very picky and will complain about the least little thing, had nothing negative to say then this was a win win. Thank you.

My husband and 16-year old son and I just returned from a wonderful vacation at Randy’s place in Kaibo. This was our first time in Grand Cayman. This is a beautiful unit and it was exactly what we were looking for – quiet side of the island, private and spacious condo with walkout to the beach. It came equipped with 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and 2 bikes. We used it all. We came for the sun, the water activities and especially the snorkeling. Cayman did not disappoint. The space was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it was well appointed. The host was great - accommodating and very responsive during our stay. The unit is located on a quiet bay which was great for paddle boarding and kayaking. We made it all the way out to starfish point by kayak and honestly, we saw more starfish on the way there than at the point itself! I read an earlier post about a small safe which I can confirm is now there. This host reads the suggestions and accommodates. We would stay in this unit again for sure.

This side of the island is more quiet and relaxing. The condo is nice. I like having kayaks that come with the condo. The pool is refreshing to jump in after laying on the beach.

The perfect place to stay for a family to enjoy all water sports. The condo has paddle Boards & kayaks is a huge bonus. It has beautiful decor and everything you would need to be chilled and have a wonderful time.

Condo was ground level and beach front, just as the description and picture showed. It included a stand-up paddle board (SUP) and 2 kayaks. It also includes a BBQ pit and a chairs on the beach. Everything was great during our stay, and it was the peaceful vacation we were seeking. There is a restaurant and coffee shop walking distance on the beach that are open Wed-Sunday. We went into the tourist area (Seven Mile Beach), which is about a 45 minute drive, on the other days. The owner was responsive over text throughout our stay. Great location for a relaxing vacation.

Lovely place, nice view just outside your back door. Close to a restaurant and a coffee shop, just be ready that they don’t work on Mondays and Tuesdays. It was fun to have kayaks and SUPs. Very accommodating host!

Very nice and extremely quiet. Very remote location and we knew that. Disappointed that Rum Point was closed. We didn’t like all of the paperwork to get into the island. We will wait until all of this COVID test to and from the island is over before we ever return.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It was so peaceful and in perfect condition. The space was very tidy and well appointed- we literally had everything we needed to settle in for the week and relax. Go to the grocery store and stock the fridge so you can just stay put and unplug.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Randy's vacation home at Kaibo. The unit is as wonderful as it appears in the photos. The location was perfect for us to access snorkeling excursions as the operators picked us up at the Kaibo dock, just a hop skip and jump from our location. The Rum Point beach is a short walk away. Although the Rum Point restaurants had not yet re-opened we still enjoyed the lovely beach. Another bonus for us was that the bioluminesence kayak tour was also a short walk from where we stayed. The Kaibo Yacht Club restaurants were open and we enjoyed several excellent dinners there after a very short stroll from our unit. in summary, it was a great property in a great location!!!

This place is amazing. If you like a more relaxed place to stay then stay here. The pool and hot hot tub are great. The views right from your back door are amazing. The condo is a great size. They have beach towels, kayaks, paddle boards and life jackets. We used them all. We kayaked a little way to a shallow area and saw tons of star fish. Such a fun time here.

We enjoyed our stay in unit C24. The property manager, Pam, was great to work with and very responsive. The unit was nicely decorated and had newer appliances. It was well stocked for our week. It was great to have access to the kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, etc. The unit is walking distance to the Kaibo bar and restaurant, which is a plus. We'd definitely stay there again! The only suggestion would be to add a small safe for storing passports, etc.

Located on a calm water bay with a great restaurant/bar on the premises. I loved the kayaks and paddleboards. The screened in porch was great to enjoy the property outside, but out of the sun. The owner was very responsive to any questions, which was a plus.

This is our second year staying here. Unit is clean, beds are comfortable and the location is great. Love the screen porch in the morning. We enjoyed the kayaks but it was a little too windy for the paddle boards. Maybe next year???

Our experience with Randy and Pam was very professional and things were handled in a timely manner. The condo was very beautifully decorated and supplied plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner as well as laundry and dish soaps. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Their is a very convenient water taxis that picks up a very short walk away that will take you to Camana Bay on 7 mile beach which is a must see while you’re on Cayman. 7 mile beach has many public access points.

The condo had everything we needed except for missing two paddle board paddles! We loved being RIGHT on the beach however we were a little surprised at the amount of driving involved in doing other things. All in all, we had a wonderful time and we thank you!
