We had a great stay for our group of 10 people. The view of the lake from the living room was gorgeous and the room layouts accommodated our group perfectly with lots of space to enjoy. However, I do suggest the unit supply more silverware (mainly forks & spoons). We didn't have enough for our entire group for just one meal and had to go buy some plastic cutlery so we didn't have to rewash forks and/or spoons after every meal. Also, we found a small dead roach on top of one of the plates in the cupboard. Bugs happen but perhaps a bit more attention to the cleaning. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Great place, my family loved it! Looked even better in person than it did in the pictures or video. My only concern is that it wasn't accessible for my elderly parents due to the stairs; they had to stay on the main floor and sleep in the living room. Also had some issues with temperature regulation. The temperature on the top floor was too hot and it was difficult to sleep. We tried adjusting it too a cooler temperature, but it would go back to being too hot. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

This wonderful home was close to the venue for our daughter’s wedding. Through all the hectic activities of a wedding weekend, it was nice to be able to come back and relax at this house, with its beautiful views, fire pit, and game room. The surrounding area was quiet and relaxing. As we sat on the deck, we especially enjoyed the periodic sighting of “nature” wandering by. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room. (There are lots of stairs/steps and levels, so if there are children or concerns with this, be alert.). We loved this home and location and highly recommend it!

Highly recommended. 5 stars everything was perfect. Amazing views. When we viewed the pictures we were exited, when we arrived we were surprised how much nicer the place is in person.

This house provided everything we needed to accommodate our family of 11! The games downstairs provided lots of entertainment! The view is beautiful and we enjoyed mornings and evenings around the fire pit while feeding deer. We will definitely be back and share with others!

I highly recommend the Texas Rose House! We had an amazing host who did not mind quickly answering my text messages about things around the property/town. Everything was clean and there was enough starter items in the home that we did not have to purchase very much which is saying a lot since we had a group of10 people. I was concerned about hot water since there were 10 of us and I saw a prior review about a hot water issues but we had no problems at all with this! The beds were very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, and your choice of multiple lounge areas which was great to come home to after a long day on the lake with 8 teenagers. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home with our family! My only suggestion: - Update your virtual tour video. There have been a few updates since you recorded that. - Add a TV to the two downstairs rooms.

We were in town for a family wedding which took place in Spring Branch and the Texas Rose property was more than adequate as our base and suitable for our party of eight with some visitors at times. The common area of the home was very open with a wonderful view of Canyon Lake from the picture windows. We spent a lot of time there and on the deck over-watching the abundance of deer and water activity. We took an occasional stroll down to the boat ramp. The AC was excellent and everyone slept comfortably. The water pressure in the bathrooms was excellent and we had plenty of hot water as one of our major themes while there was preparing for a number of events surrounding the wedding. Parking was plentiful but a little steep and on a bend in the road. The drive in and out of Canyon Lake was easy. Lot's great places to eat in the area and everyone was super friendly. The Rose does have some normal wear and tear and we reported a couple minor issues to the property manager who was very prompt to respond to our needs. This could have easily swung to a four star rating had the property manager not been so attentive. Overall this was a very pleasant place to stay and we only wish we had more time to barbecue and take advantage of all the accoutrements the Rose had to offer. After it was all said and done our only regret was we could not stay longer. Thanks for being a wonderful host.

Outstanding view of the lake. Great exposure to deer. Trail to get in shallow area of the lake. Restaurants and grocery store within ten minutes. Rented boat at marina ten minutes away. Less than an hour drive to lots of great Hill Country places.

The walkway to the lake was an uphill hike coming back, too much for some of our older family members, but there is a boat ramp with public parking just around the corner, so we accessed the lake from there and enjoyed playing in the water. We didn't find the deer corn can on the porch until after we purchased a big bag ourselves, so your can is replenished now, LOL! The kids loved feeding the deer. I can't think of anything more we could have asked for or expected, it was a perfect weekend. Thank you for sharing your home!

The cabin was gorgeous and we had a great time feeding all the deer. The management company was good to. However, we had NO hot water the entire trip and the toilets were working right. We also requested and was approved for late check out at 1pm and they started rushing us out at 12:30. Overall, the cabin it's self and the scenery was wonderful. It just sucks having no hot water at all with 9 people all trying to shower in the 30 degree weather.

Plenty of room - spacious bedrooms, good number of bathrooms, big lounging areas indoors and out, lots of dining space and at least a 4 butt kitchen. Well decorated and comfortable. Great homebase for daily activities. Now for what needed improvements: 6 active, but careful senior women needed bathmats in every shower; there are lots of little ledges, big steps up and down and in and out (not for the accessibility challenged!); full length mirrors in every bathroom or bedroom would be helpful; backdoor onto porch needs WD40 badly; the information sheet that is said to be on the wall is not on the wall, we had to search for it and it REALLY needs a make-over. It is filthy - we could barely read some of the instructions; the double coffee maker needs both some easily available instructions and a good cleaning. It would be great to have a list of recommended restaurants and nearby shopping included with the check-in/check-out instruction list in a booklet or notebook of some sort. This was a relatively quiet neighborhood for this time of year which we appreciated, and some of us enjoyed the streaming services on the TV's. Thanks for the starter sets of everything that were supplied. I would definitely recommend Texas Rose Lodge for a family with elementary aged kids and older.

The house was furnished with anything you would need. The back patio and deer everywhere was the best experience. It would have been nice to have closer access to go swimming.

The house could not have been more perfect for our group of 12. The 3 levels, the game tables and the outdoor decks were perfect for our group. I was a little concerned about the 3 boys in our family between the ages of 11-17. I should not have given it a second thought. They loved every minute and were busy the whole time. We went boating (the boat dock was just a block away) and to the Comal Park swimming/picnic area which was nearby as well. We bought deer corn and fed the deer daily. A group floated the river too. It was a wonderful trip and we are already talking about returning. Thank you for an amazing week!

We loved our stay at this beautiful property ❤️ Eleven of us had plenty of room to spread out in the large comfortable living area, wonderful porch and downstairs game room. My grandkids had the best time feeding the deer, playing in the game room, and swimming in the lake. The bedrooms were comfortable with lots of pillow choices, fans, and extra blankets. The kitchen was easy to work in and had all needed cookware , serving ware and appliances. There are plenty of quiet time area options from swings outdoors to bedrooms away from the noise a happy family creates. One grandson proclaimed it his ‘ Dream House’ while a granddaughter said she wanted to live there. There’s a nice laundry room and three full bathrooms- each located off a hallway in different areas of the house - in addition to the four bedrooms. We all agreed we’d love to return to this amazing property!
