What a lovely space to call home for our five days in Aix! Christine greeted us enthusiastically and we found everything we needed in this well equipped apartment. And the lovey terrace with a view of the rooftops of Aix was a much enjoyed space for coffee at the beginning of each day, and for a glass of rose at the end of a day’s activities. Thank you Christine and Thierry for an enjoyable stay.

What a perfect apartment in a convenient location in the old town! The apartment is beautifully decorated and well equipped. They have thought of everything. The roof top terrace is just wonderful. We hated to say goodbye. Take all of their tips. We could go on and on. A perfect stay!

The title says it all. The property is absolutely spectacular. You’re unlikely anywhere else in old town Aix to be within a 5-10 minute walk of everything with your own incredible rooftop terrace. Two spacious bedrooms, two modernized bathrooms, along with a completely usable kitchen with a very nice living room in which to relax in the rare event you’re not out exploring Provence. Parking that is very convenient is also available. We spent a week here, doing day trips throughout Provence — essentially, nothing is more than an hour away. This is the perfect base camp for exploring Aix and beyond. Best of all, Kristine and Thierry could not be more helpful, to include providing “The Book” with suggestions for everything you could possibly need for Aix and all of Provence. We will absolutely stay here again.

There are 65 steps up to the apartment so not for the faint hearted! We were just 1 couple and it worked fine, but if 2 couples, be aware that the second bathroom is at the roof terrace. There is no dining table inside which might be a drawback. Location is fabulous, but if a light sleeper bring earplugs because noise from the street can go on into the early morning - students I guess. We had a wonderful intro from Kristine, but messages to her seemed not to have been received which was concerning. Overall, it’s pretty expensive for 2 people but we were very happy with it.

We (two couples) really enjoyed our week in Aix at this very clean, well situated apartment . Kristine handled the arrival and provided us with a wealth of travel touring tips which were all spot on. The apartment is on the fourth floor without a lift if that is an issue. The unit was very clean, well equipped, and includes a nice rooftop terrace that is shaded around 5:00pm for happy hour. Had a wifi issue that Thierry personally came over to correct…even going to the extent of buying a temporary replacement unit. Check out was also a breeze with Kristine. Thank you Kristine and Thierry…highly recommend.

Our goal was to shop the markets, cook at home and eat out, find our perfect neighborhood café, walk a lot, and see Provence. Our two week stay was a big success. Although it was hot in early June it was also very dry and coming home at the end of the day to the beautiful apartment with great AC and a rooftop deck was heaven. Kris was always available via text to answer questions and she leaves wonderful instructions and recommendations for the area. All the appliances including laundry are top notch and easy to use. Two full bathrooms are spacious and beautiful, one is a bath with handheld shower only. The 16th century stairs up to the apartment are a definite work out each time and must be navigated carefully. I recommend 2 Rue Boulegon without reservation and would definitely stay again in the future.

This was the perfect apartment for visiting Aix, and the owners are very friendly and responsive. Beds are extremely comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the rooftop terrace will be a big part of our memories.

This place was wonderful! We stayed for a week and found it to be very comfortable and located in the heart of the beautiful city. The flower market, restaurants, and shops all just steps away. The roof top terrace was such a lovely place to watch the colors of the city change as the sun went down. The kitchen was well stocked and beautiful. The living room was very comfortable for lounging and the bedrooms well appointed. Beds and linens were very nice, too. I can't wait to come back to this beautiful apartment. Kris and Thierry were kind and extremely helpful hosts. I can't say enough about this amazing place.

The apartment is just as lovely as shown on-line. It is very beautiful and clean. The owners were helpful as well. The terrace overlooking Aix is wonderful and we were fortunate to be there for a full moon. The kitchen in the apartment is amazing and well equipped. We usually had a big lunch out, and then made a small dinner in the apartment in the evening from our gatherings at the markets. We had a few issues regarding the parking pass, the bathtub and shower, and the apartment's heating and electric, but nothing so serious that it impacted our stay. The only other thing is the apartment is on the top floor of the building with a lot of steps. This did not bother me at all, but my mother (75 years old) struggled a bit. The advertisement for the apartment does explain about the stairs, but they turned out to be a bit more than expected. Overall, I would recommend this apartment.

This is an amazing property and the host are exceptional!! The apartment is beautiful and the outdoor living space has views of everything! The location is central to everything you might need or want…thanks for a super stay!! ❤️

My wife and I spent 4 wonderful nights at Kristine and Thierry’s beautiful home in the old town part of Aix. The location is just perfect for exploring this charming town. The property is very nicely decorated and is well appointed. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to enjoy a meals inside or out! We enjoyed a glass of wine each night on the wonderful terrace! As an FYI, the bathroom on the main floor does not have a shower, though there is a stand up shower on the top floor where the terrace is located. There were just two of us, so we stayed in the main bedroom, but did notice the guest room, which is beautifully decorated as well, has a trundle bed. The owners are very helpful and quite communicative and offer very helpful recommendations about the area and restaurants. We cannot wait for our next visit. Merci Kristine and Thierry!

Soulfully appointed apartment enhanced our visit to this beautiful area. The terrace view was perfect for our morning and evening views of the city and watching the sun rise. Perfect base for adventures throughout Aix. A/c was appreciated for those not used to the heat. Kitchen was comfortably equipped for our cooking needs.

We spent 5 lovely days here. Location is great, the apartment has all modern amenities (AC, dish washer, washing machine), and the roof deck is spectacular. Kristine provides amazing recommendations and is very responsive to any questions. We will be back!

The photos are beautiful and The apartment more than lives up to it. The top floor location overlooks the rooftops of Aix, including the Historic Town Hall. We shopped the Daily Market, cooked and dined al fresco on the roof deck. Only caution is the walk up 4 flights.

We had a too short stay in Aix the first week in March and loved this apartment! The kitchen is perfectly appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the wifi is good. It is a beautiful place and the rooftop terrace is breathtaking. (We loved the upstairs shower as well). The living area is chicly interesting and comfortable. And it is just steps from everything in Aix. You can be an Aix "local" in this wonderful spot. (The owner's book of insider's tips needs to be read---very valuable information).

We spent a wonderful 7 days in this two bedroom apartment. The pictures don't do it justice. The apartment is in the perfect location for enjoying the daily markets and is quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated.The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for preparing meals, including some nice serving pieces. Kristine and Thierry have thought of everything to make your stay a memorable one. We spent almost every evening on the rooftop terrace sipping rose wines and eating the fresh produce from the daily market. We appreciated all of the sightseeing tips, which led us on fun adventures to small villages we would not otherwise have known about. Merci beaucoup Kristine and Thierry. a bientot!

We were very pleasantly surprised by this property and used it as our base for a week of bike riding in various directions. The photos don't do it justice! As hosts, Kristine & Thierry were very easy to work with from booking to the final day of our vacation. Kristine has "a book" :) which is very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. This apartment is a short walk to the centre of the city action without yet far enough off the main thoroughfare that noise is not a problem. We started every morning with fresh baked goods from Pâtisserie Weibel, creme fresh and fresh fruit from a delightful farmer's market. So good!! The apartment is on the 4th floor so not too difficult a climb and features spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen and a stunning view from the rooftop terrace. We started and wrapped up everyday on the terrace with breakfast and coffee through to dinner, wine and dessert. In the evening we watched the pink skies of Avignon take over the horizon - simply gorgeous!! The bedrooms are spacious and worked very well for our party of 2 couples. Laundry was easy to access and the heat of the day quickly dried our biking gear each afternoon so we were set for the following day. Pictures and words don't do the apartment or city justice ... you just have to visit!

Kristine has created a beautiful apartment , the roof terrace is what drew us to the apartment & was a beautiful place to sit early in the morning & later in the evening, overlooking the rooftops of Aix. However the excellent air con was certainly greatly appreciated. It was wonderful to come home to such a beautiful, cool & well appointed apartment after exploring Aix & the surrounding areas.The added extras like a bottle of Provence Rose on arrival & a pantry full of kitchen staples was certainly appreciated. K ristine was a charming host & couldn't have been more helpful, giving us many suggestions - where to eat, drink, have a massage & the towns in Provence we couldn't miss. She was right every time. Thank you so much Kristine we loved our time in your beautiful town & wonderful apartment . We would highly recommend it. We stayed in several apartments during our months holiday & the attention to detail & Kristines assistance definitely made this our favourite!

If one were to sum up the perfect trip, this would be it! Kristine and Thierry's beautiful apartment is located in a marvelous location. It is in the heart of the old town, with markets, shopping and sightseeing a short walk away and for those who want to venture further afield in Provence this makes the perfect base. Kristine and Thierry provided wonderful insight into some destinations and the warmest of welcomes. The apartment has been lovingly renovated and restored to the highest standards. It has all the modern conveniences whilst retaining all of it's old world charm. The rooftop terrace is an absolute delight! My daughter and I explored Aix as well as hiking the Calanques and Mt. Look no further if you are seeking luxury accommodations in Aix. Our stay at this lovely loft was wonderful. From beginning to end our hosts made sure we were well taken care of. Communication to arrange our stay was easy, friendly and warm. Once we arrived to Aix we were greeted with a welcoming reception. K (one of the owners) reviewed some of the highlights in Provence so that our time there would be well spent. The apartment itself is perfectly situated in old Aix and close to markets, cafés and sites. It was clean, safe, extremely well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The terrace is truly sublime, offering a superlative view of Mont Ste.Victoire , the surrounding countryside and the rooftops of Aix. We had use of a car and were able to visit Arles, Lourmarin, Chateauneuf des Papes, Pont du Gard and Ventabren. Upon return we routinely retreated to the terrace for a glass of rose. Aix was lively when we were there as the students were returning, this added to the vibrancy. We highly recommend La Maison Mamoune. Thank you so much K & T ! This place is absolutely beautiful!! Kristine and Thierry were perfect hosts and were very helpful both leading up to our visit to Aix as well as while we were there they provided so many recommendations and all of them were spot on! The flat is in an excellent location to set out on foot and see the entire city…less than 5 minutes away is the most beautiful farmers market set up every day along with the nicest cafes where you can sit and soak in the Provencal way of life. The flat itself is very comfortable with an amazing kitchen and a stunning view from the rooftop terrace (where we spent every night with a bottle of wine)…the pics on the listing do not do it justice!! The bedrooms are perfect for 2 couples or the whole family. Also, with a boulangerie in the base of the building, you wake up every day to the small of fresh croissants (I miss that). After spending 3 weeks here, we were very sad to leave but we will most certainly be back and very much look forward to our next visit.

This charming apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. Located on the top floor of a 17th century building in the very heart of old Aix, the loft has been entirely renovated to a modern minimalist style with a new kitchen and bathroom and the latest appliances. We enjoyed breakfast and afternoon apéritif on the private rooftop terrace which offers a spectacular view across the rooftops of Aix all the way to Mte Ste Victoire in the distance. Everything in Aix is within easy walking distance. The colorful outdoor markets are steps away and wonderful. The owners were there upon arrival to welcome us and help us settle in. Our stay in this charming, cosy and comfortable apartment was delightful and we will surely return !

What a lovely stay we had! The apartment was a wonderful choice for our girls' trip in the capital of Provence!!It is as lovely as it looks in the pictures. We felt like we were living in luxury. The space is so beautiful, well laid out, very clean, sunny, impeccably decorated with comfortable furniture. The weather was exceptionally warm for early march so we enjoyed drinking champagne on the terrace.... admiring the stunning view over the old town. The location was ideal, only a couple of blocks from the farmers markets restaurants, museums and shops. We felt very welcome by our hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you for great tips on the wine county and hiking trails! After a long drive from spain, we arrived quite late at the apt ..too late to do any shopping, but Kristine had a delicious snack with a chilled bottle of rosé for us & made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast. We absolutely recommend this flat for anyone wanting to visit Provence in style and we hope to be back! Thanks for everything. We feel fortunate to have found this spacious apartment in Aix en provence .This was our second trip to Aix and will hopefully return next fall. This time we were with our daughter and our grand daughter. We have rented many Vrbo properties and this loft is at the top of our list! The apartment is just beautiful, comfortable, impeccably clean, bright, exactly as described and photographed on the website and ideally located. Being so centrally located makes it easy to explore, shop at the daily farmers market and get to know the Historical centre of Aix at a more leisurely pace. If you love to cook,the kitchen is great, practical and fully equipped(for a chef!!). The owners, Kristine and Thierry, could not have been more helpful and provided us with great suggestions of restaurants, wineries and villages we had not been to on our previous journey last year. They have done a marvelous job of decorating the apartment, adding many little details that make it truly special and comfortable. The greatest treat in this loft is having a glass of wine on the private terrace, overlooking the gorgeous view of the roof tops of old town. The light is breathtaking in provence! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you both for sharing this lovely place with us. =
