I’m hesitant to saying what a great place this is because I don’t want competition for future years 😊. We just loved it, so we’ll appointed - a little retro, mid century, cottagy decor with all the modern amenities one could need.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Lake Skaneateles is a gorgeous lake for swimming, walking, and sunrises. Very peaceful and clean water. We hope to return next year!!

The property was as advertised. Very comfortable with all the basic plates, silverware, bowels, pots, pans , spices, oils, etc. The view from the deck is breathtaking. The boathouse and slip made docking our boat a breeze. We definitely would like to return in the future.

The house was just like it looked in the pictures. The view from the deck was stunning. The water was really high while we were there but the kids and dog were still in the water every day- with the deck submerged. We hiked, shopped and fished! The owner checked in often to make sure our trip was going well. Very pretty area!

We had a wonderful stay at this Skaneateles lake front property! Swimming from our private deck, kayaking, and enjoying the beautiful view and sounds of the lake from our porch. Taking walks down our street was very pleasant with so many birds and wild flowers. We especially enjoyed a hike at carpenter falls. The house has everything you need and more to experience a very comfortable stay. Eric our host was very helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy Skaneateles lake. We hope to rent it again next summer.

This is our second year at this house. It is clean, well maintained and exactly as advertised. The water front is fantastic. Tons of room for all of your toys Added bonus - we pack our clothes and food - the house has everything else Eric is fantastic and we have already booked for next year

Our family enjoyed our first time stay at the Skaneateles Lake House last year that, we had to go back.. The place is very well kept and cleaned throughout. The Paddle board addition to the already available kayaks was an added bonus for the kids. As per last year, the dogs again did not want to leave. We rented for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The house has everything you would need: stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, soaps and cleaning supplies, etc. The master bed was super comfy. The twin beds were less so; we brought a mattress pad which definitely helped. Having a washer/dryer on site was very handy. The highlight of the property is the waterfront. The dock area is huge and has shade and coverage from the rain so we sat out there in all weather. Eric supplies kayaks, a paddle board, and even some fishing rods! We had fires in the fire pit. All in all, it was a lovely, relaxing trip! We would definitely rent this property again.

It's the little touches that make this cottage over the top for us. We try to book it whenever we get the chance to visit our favorite Finger Lake.

What a great place! Looking out over the lake the house is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Process could not have been easier and Eric is the perfect host. Clean and inviting this is the perfect getaway. Even saw an otter! We will be back!

This was a great change of scenery for my husband to work remotely. The room by the front door was the perfect for him to work and still get to enjoy the view. Seeing leaves at peak season reflected on the water was just lovely to look at every day, even when it was rainy. The bed and couch were both comfy, and having a full sized washer and dryer in the kitchen was very convenient. The pool house looked like a great hang out spot in warmer weather, but we still enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. I'd love to come back in the summertime to jump into the lake - a little cold for that in October! I would rent here again, no question. Highly recommended!

Our stay here was just what we all needed. The south end of Skaneateles is absolutely gorgeous! The property was well stocked and had everything you could want with lots of outside space. We drove our boat down and kept it at the property with lots of space to still swim and fish and take in the beauty of the lake.

We just returned from seven days at this wonderful home and cannot say enough about how much fun we had. The house and boat house were both super clean and well stocked with supplies and tools. We loved having access to our boat from the (new and improved) docks at the boat house. We cooked almost all of our meals in the kitchen or on the grill. Our dog was so happy to be with us on this trip and we thank the owners for being pet friendly. We'll definitely be back! Five Stars all around. Thank you Eric for a great week on the lake.

We had so much fun staying at this house, which was perfect for our family lake vacation. We had 3 adults and 2 kids, aged 11 and 7 and everyone had a great time. Right on the water with stunning views, the house had everything we needed. We cooked dinner at the house most nights and really appreciated the gas grill. The gates on the deck allowed us to have our dogs out with us while enjoying the deck and view. It is an extremely dog friendly property, with a fenced side yard. The boathouse was the real perk of this property. We loved that there was a refrigerator where we could keep drinks and ice cream treats to enjoy while we were down by the water. We loved taking the kayaks out and appreciated that there were so many life vests of varying sizes so everyone had one if they wanted to go out on the water. We played cornhole and had a fire each night, which was really fun. There is great fishing off the dock - my 7 year old caught a 15 inch walleye! It's a beautiful area and lots of fun things to do nearby. We visited a winery, went horseback riding and shopped in the very cute village of Skaneateles 20 minutes away. Word of warning - if you want to rent a pontoon boat, reserve it months in advance! We weren't able to get one and will reserve well ahead of time next visit. There was plenty to do to keep us busy, though!

Great location. View in the morning having breakfast over lake is beautiful. We were going to chill out all week but so many great places to see like Watkins Glen, Carpenters Falls, Chittenango Falls, Pratt Falls, and Skaneatles is just up the road too. One of my favourite little towns. We did spend a few days just chilling on the lake front and enjoying the kayaks provided. Water is crystal clear and great swimming. You can also fish from the dock - though we didn’t catch much more than seaweed ;) House was comfortable and full of everything you could possibly need to cook with. We BBQ’d almost every night which was great. We look forward to returning next summer. Eric was attentive and responsive to every query we had. We really appreciated that. We loved the beautiful lake and house.

Love at first sight at Lake Skaneateles. Not one bad thing to say. We had the best family trip with our 4 kids and our dog. The house , boathouse, dock, firepit, deck, all spot on. After this rough year of 2020 this is what everyone needs! The water is unreal and our kids swam everyday. Fishing was so good, caught fish everyday. Rented a pontoon boat for 3 days and that’s was great to see the entire lake and go into town for a bite to eat. Gorgeous sunset on the lake too. I don’t have enough words to describe what a relaxing vacation this has been. Eric thanks for letting us enjoy your home! We hope to come back!

Just returned from our stay at this location and miss it already. The house was amazing and in pristine condition. The house is exactly as shown and described with no hidden surprises You will not need to bring anything. This house has it all! The boathouse is well stocked too. Nice touches everywhere you turn. Loved the use of the staghorns in the steps The lake front has room for all of your toys with plenty of room to swim. Nicest dock area as far as the eye can see. My family chose this place to get away from busy lives even during Covid times. We literally parked the car when we arrived and didn’t touch it again until it was time to leave.-yet we were never bored. Loved the place and will definitely stay again Thanks Eric for the great communication and responsiveness.

Very great experience from A-Z. The lake house was spotless and clean upon arrival. The attention to the small details from the kitchen, bath to bedrooms was well thought out. The bbq grill was spot on as far as size and having two full propane tanks. The boathouse was accommodating as well with two kayaks and pool noodles for use in the beautiful lake. The fire pit was also awesome and used throughout our time there,,and we didn’t even have to bring our own firewood. The views from both the lake house and the boat house were enjoyed from morning to evening. And I forgot to mention the pets did not want to come home. Well done. Already planning next years stay. This house was awesome for our family of 4 plus dog. We were quarantining due to COVID so we brought all our food. The kitchen was SO well stocked. The views from the whole main room are beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat from the Skaneateles Marina and pulled it right up at the boat house. We brought a lot of things that we didn’t really need to bring because everything was provided with the house. I can’t recommend it more.
