My wife and I traveled to Monument, CO for a wedding. After some fairly in-depth research into various properties we settled on Jennifer & Bob’s Woodmoor property, and it was an excellent choice. The home is exactly as advertised. Actually, it is better than advertised. Because of wedding activities scheduled throughout our stay we decided that we would stay at Woodmoor for all of our meals. The kitchen was well outfitted and exceeded our every need. We spent most of our time on the lovely deck sipping coffee in the mornings and champagne in the evenings. The deck overlooks a well designed and maintained yard and we were even blessed with several wildlife sightings. The home was very, very clean and well organized. My wife and I have stayed at the very nicest resorts in the world over the past 20 years and Woodmoor exceeded our expectations. As nice as the home is, the best part is organization and grace of the hosts. Jennifer was so helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay. Jennifer even completed an errand for us prior to our arrival that left my wife and I incredulous of her effort. They are the very nicest of people. I can’t recommend Bob & Jennifer’s Woodmoor enough if you find yourself traveling to the Colorado Springs area. One tip for you should you stay in the area; My wife and I love outdoor activities. If you like hiking, the Palmer Lake hike trailhead is a very short drive from the home. Download a hiking app for the trail map and complete the 5.2 mile hike counterclockwise. Simply beautiful views and a nice workout. We thoroughly enjoyed the hike. Maybe our favorite hike of all time.

The hosts were outstanding and helped us in anyway they could. The house is exceptional and had everything one might want in a vacation property – house was very clean and spacious; kitchen was well equipped; beds were comfortable; pool table and games galore. House is convenient to I-25 and all the main attractions in the area. Would stay again without any hesitation!

Jennifer and Bob have the gift of hospitality!! Literally everything we needed for a great family Thanksgiving vacation was there on property. Location was perfect for us near kids in CoSprings, Garden of the Gods and Incline, etc. Felt like a home away from home for us and the game room was a big hit! Outdoor fire-pit was cozy, fireplaces even cozier, and carpets kept our feet warm on cold, snowy days. Bug buck and does slept on the grass behind the house and views were excellent from the porch. Would stay at this top notch property again in a heartbeat!

This property was by far the nicest, cleanest, most beautifully decorated rental I have ever stayed in. It is just 5 exits from the North Gate of USAFA, which was awesome. We could be there in a snap. It's close to grocery stores, Starbucks, Walgreens...anything you could need. The home itself is just absolutely gorgeous with vaulted ceilings, two beautiful outdoor sitting areas, tons of games, a pool table, a fantastic game room with TV and sectional couch, lots of seating upstairs, and seriously super comfy beds. There are 4 full bathrooms, and every kitchen amenity you could need. The property manager is just as helpful and kind as can be, and the check-in process was flawless. I cannot say enough about this home. I will book here every time I can when I come to Colorado Springs. It is the perfect home away from home in every sense of the phrase.

Great place. Great views. Very comfortable base for USAFA, Colorado Springs, Denver. Very nice layout for entertaining, grilling, playing pool, s’mores or just watching movies or reading a book. Highly recommend! Jennifer was most helpful and accommodating.

We were a group of eight adults and all us thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Peters’ home for a four-day trip over the Fourth of July weekend. The Peters were wonderful hosts and they simply have a beautiful home that fit our needs perfectly. The eight of us have traveled many times over the past 15 years and this house was at the top of the list. We always start each day drinking coffee on the balcony and this home was no different. We enjoyed the wonderful view of the mountains and lake below each day. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck below the balcony while watching deer quietly stroll through the yard. Inside the home, the house was spotless. The open floor plan was perfect as we could cook in the kitchen while others in group sat in the immediately adjacent and large living room. All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and were very comfortable. The bottom line is that we highly recommend this home as we made great memories here and we look forward to making many more!

It’s going to be hard to summarize our stay at Woodmoor! Jennifer and Bob most accommodating even after multiple communication on my part for not paying attention! The house is beautiful, the grounds are peaceful and the property is well situated to all the areas has to offer! The Fun Bunch all most definitely loved our stay! It was marvelous!

We rented this house for USAFA Graduation 2021 and would definitely rate it as top-notch, 5 stars. Our pleasant experience began when we requested to book and received a personal phone call from the homeowner, Jennifer. She was very attentive, answered our questions and listened to what we were looking for in a rental to make sure her home was a good fit. We were very impressed that she took the time for a personal call. The house is located on a private drive tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a picturesque lake and Mountain View. For USAFA families, the home is in Monument about 10 minutes north of the North gate and close to shops, restaurants and a grocery store. The property is exceptional and impeccably clean. The decor is beautiful and the house has everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The layout of the house is open concept, spacious and the two outdoor areas are perfect for reading, relaxing or drinks in the evening or coffee in the morning. The outdoor fountain on the upstairs deck elevates the peaceful experience. The beds are super comfortable and the special touches throughout the home (like layered bedding, extra blankets, shampoo & conditioner in the showers) give the home a very comfortable and welcoming feel. Check in/ out was easy and nothing out of the norm. There was also a binder available with helpful information about how to work the appliances, doors, outdoor fountain etc... as well as tips/ suggestions on places to eat, visit and see while in Colorado. Jennifer, the owner, is one of the best VRBO homeowners we’ve ever worked with. She was very personable, quick to respond to any questions, incredibly helpful and an overall pleasure to work with. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful home. Arriving for Spring Break the owners shoveled the drive for us and were so thoughtful and helpful with any and all questions I had. This amazing home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and set up perfectly for our family of 5. The lower floor was great for playing pool and watching movies with an entertainment center and big screen tv with comfortable chairs and couches. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and plenty of dishware/cookware and utensils. My favorite part of our stay was that it is in the perfect location to “get away” without being too far from nearby grocery stores, restaurants and we were able to hop onto the interstate and get to Colorado City in just a few minutes. This home is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood with views of the nearby lake and mountains. Waking up to the beautiful view was wonderful! I highly recommend this property. The owners are awesome and will be sure that you enjoy every aspect of your stay. We will be back for sure!

We were a family looking for some downtime. The home was so lovely and very comfortable...filled with many amenities. We spent many a morning with coffee and an evening on the deck enjoying the mountain and lake view. Would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to Colorado Springs.

We were looking for a quiet getaway and this VBRO was exactly what we needed. We were welcomed with a goody bag welcoming us to the house which we didn’t see right away because we were captivated by the view of the mountains through the large picture window. We sat on the deck most mornings drinking coffee with the fountain on as we watched deer, rabbits, hummingbirds go by all the while taking in the magnificent backdrop of the mountains. The sunsets were spectacular. Even if it was raining we could sit outside on the covered patio downstairs and enjoy the calming sound of rain falling. We played golf several days, visited the Air Force Academy, went to Crags trail and did a day trip to Breckenridge. The house is spacious, fabulously decorated and had plenty of activities to do right in the house with the pool table and other variety of games. We will be back to Colorado Springs in the future and would love to stay here again.

The Peter's home is everything and more. The home is thoughtfully decorated. It is warm and welcoming. The setting is beyond beautiful. We enjoyed peaceful mornings and evening on the deck and patio. Loved seeing deer in the yard and birds too. The kitchen has everything you will need. We ate in 95% of the time and didn't have to improvise for utensils. Everything is there. The cookbook in the kitchen is wonderful, ordered one on Amazon and had it waiting for me when we got home. All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and beddings. The bathrooms are well supplied. The game room in the downstairs family room was a family favorite. Downtown Monument is quaint and fun. Castle Rock right up the road is so much fun as well. Take the back way to avoid I25 traffic, scenic and quicker. We were all blessed beyond measure by our family get away. We want to come back for another stay. Thank you for making your home so inviting, welcoming and well supplied!

Our family enjoyed this house so much. The views were stunning and the house had everything you could imagine. The pool table was a hit with our kids along with all of the board games. Jennifer was so hospitable and kind. We definitely want to come back and stay again in the future.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. This house was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. I have to say I think they even undersell the view: there are gorgeous views of the mountains and nearby lake from the porch. There are great restaurants nearby and the location is perfect for outdoor activities. My party was blown away by the hospitality of the homeowners and would recommend staying here to anybody.

Beautiful home for any stay in the Colorado Springs area especially for USAFA families. We shared Jennifer's home during Parent's Weekend with another Cadet's family and we comfortably utilized the living quarters on the main level and lower level between the two parties. Besides the home's beautiful appeal, every desired supply and comfort features were all available. Thank you Jennifer and your family for making your home our home for our special occasion.

I can’t say enough good things about how amazing Jennifer and Bob’s home is. Between the immaculate cleanliness, perfectly detailed decor, and stunning views it was the most comfortable and spacious home to accommodate my large extended family. Monument is such a great little Colorado town situated between Colorado Springs and Denver but it completely lacks hotel and Airbnb accommodations. I feel so lucky to have found this home on HomeAway for my family to stay in. Jennifer you were so easy to communicate with and so flexible I appreciate it s much!

The property was perfect for our visit with family. Some live in Colorado Springs, so the out-of-town folks stayed at the house and the rest came to visit us. We spent most of the two days at the house enjoying the company. Having the two levels made it perfect for different groups to gather in small group visits.

The home was beautiful, luxurious, super clean, and had everything we needed and more. It was very comfortable for our family of 10. We explored the small town of Monument and all of the recommendations were excellent! The location was great! We were able to drive to Denver for a day, see Old Colorado City, white water raft, see dinosaur fossils on a mountain side, go to Pike's Peak, eat breakfast on the Royal Gorge train, Air Force academy tour, and the sand dunes all during our stay and still come back and relax in the evenings! I would highly recommend this property!

What a beautifully appointed and yet comfortable home! Beautiful views, great balcony and patio, and such a large and comfortable family room! Everything in the house is extremely well organized, so you’ll find everything you need. The bedrooms are all very nice, so no one feels they got the not so good one (happens sometimes). We totally recommend this house for a wonderful happy and relaxed vacation with friends or family.
