This was a great place to stay and we would like to come back in the summer. It was tastefully and comfortably furnished (bed, armchair) and even has some nice artwork. We had everything we needed. Internet was good and it was quiet. Communication with Amy was great. The only suggestion I would make is to put in a handrail for the steps up to the door. It was cold and icy while we were there and that would have helped. Otherwise this is probably the nicest home stay place we have stayed and there have been a lot!

We came to silver city to hike the Gila mountains, thus we were only home to sleep, pack our backpacks, and watch the big game on Saturday. The house was perfect. Private drive, new bathroom, tons of hot water, firm mattress with comfy sheets, big fridge, good cable tv. My only little point of reality is when you start driving into the neighborhood, the area looks run down. BUT once you get to the house which is at the end of a street and isolated, you feel safe. Plus Amy has done a great job keeping up her group of properties. We will definitely stay here again when we return to hike in the spring.

My boyfriend and I traveled across the country to NM and the Bennet place was so welcoming and homey. Amy was such an amazing host and was always near by if we needed her, while giving us equal privacy. We would recommend this place time and time again!

La Casa Bennett is exceptionally clean and creatively decorated with comfortable furnishings and an extremely well provisioned kitchen! We've stayed in many rentals, and the hospitality and friendliness of Amy and husband Larry are top of the line. Both are quality individuals, creative hard workers who have made a botanical paradise yard with a covered patio with music, tv, grill, fireplace, table & chairs and comfy furnishings with plans for even more amenities! A buck and two doe jumped their fence into the yard briefly as their two dogs were away, and there are lots of birds and wildlife as the "Big Ditch" creek runs behind their property. La Casa Bennett was the highlight of our Silver City trip, one of many for us. The rental unit and outdoor patio are terrific, not to be missed!

This was a wonderful location to the cutest downtown area of Silver City. Amy was an excellent host from afar and gave us some great suggestions to eat and drink! Everything in the house was perfect and just enough. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the amenities of the house and patio! It was hard to leave after 3 days! We would totally stay here again!

We loved the place and Amy She's the gold standard of owner. The only disappointment was no access to the laundry. I know she is addressing that soon.

The house is very nice and was clean. Checked in to a warm and cozy house with background jazz music and fresh herbal aromatics. Kitchen stocked with all basic necessities. Large screen TV. Wasn’t warm enough to enjoy the outdoor patio area. Looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Nice unit in a quiet neighborhhod. Probably the best equipped place we have rented. Amy has thought of everything you may need. The location is great, close walk to historic downtown and grocery store is even closer just half a block on other side of a footbridge. The bed is also very comfortable. We really enjoyed our 8 night stay.

The Bennett Place is clean, wonderfully decorated and within walking distance to the center of town. Top quality bed and bedding, and the neighborhood is quiet. The host, Amy, is helpful, conscientious and a great gal!

My husband and I LOVED this property, inside and out. It feels like an authentic southwestern home. It was comfortable and cozy, very clean and well- stocked. The location is a short walk to downtown and a grocery store. The outdoor area is exceptional. We made a fire and watched a movie and a football game two nights. We enjoyed meeting a couple who were staying in the two bedroom house next door while they were cooking out. This is a large space and can accommodate several people. There is off-street parking for all three units right at your door, very convenient. The owner, Amy, was great to work with and we would not hesitate to rent any of her properties. As an added bonus, we were greeted by Mr. Kitty, the property cat. He hung out with us for three days and was a terrific ambassador for this Silver City gem.

This is an ideal spot to visit the downtown area. We rented bikes from Gila Hike & Bike which extended our car-free range considerably. You can walk there, pick up the bikes, and ride back. You can also walk to the grocery by crossing a little foot bridge at the end of the street. The property is very well maintained by the proprietor Amy. Everything worked well. Would stay there again.
