We had a wonderful visit at Fox Haven Cottage with our family (parents + 4 children, ages 4-11). The house is cozy and comfortable, with updated kitchen that was lovely and a beautiful open dining room / kitchen, surrounded by windows. All of the beds were quite comfortable and updated, clean bathrooms were lovely across the board. The home owners thought of so much for their guests - as the house was well stocked with plenty of kitchen items, games, puzzles, etc. Super convenient to Idlewild and Linn Run State Park. The stream in the back is gorgeous and peaceful. We enjoyed walking the grounds and relaxing in the woods! Hope to return someday. Thank you! (P.S. The Pie Shoppe is a few minutes down the road and had some of the best donuts and baked goods we’ve ever had).

This property is as lovely as pictured, and well supplied with all the essentials and more. The creekside location is tranquil and can be enjoyed from the large picture windows in the house or relaxing on upper deck or lower stone patio. Nearby state parks and preserves provide some nice hiking trails, and nearby Ligonier for food, shopping, Fort Ligonier, and ice cream. Really enjoyed our visit!

Great communication. Easy check in and check out. Property is beautiful inside and out. Love that firewood is provided. We’ve stayed there the past two years and will book again for 2024!

Myself and a few girlfriends stayed for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. I can't say enough good things about this beautiful cabin. The owners have done an outstanding job in restoring the house, as well as, the surrounding property!! It is so serene outside listening to the babbling brook while having our coffee. It was meticulously decorated and clean beyond belief. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Same for the bedrooms and bathrooms. They did a great job of thinking of everything for us. We all had a fabulous time exploring the town and enjoyed eating and shopping while there. My husband and I booked a weekend in may and I can't wait to show it to him. Do not hesitate to rent this amazing cabin in paradise....you won't regret it!!

This was a great house to have a relaxing get away with friends for my bff’s bachelorette weekend! Super comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful setting. It would have been helpful if there were sponges for doing dishes, as that’s not really something I think to pack, and while we were prepared based on the info that there were no basic cooking supplies (spices, oil, etc) I think that would be a boon to the property.

Great spot to enjoy the outdoor fire pit near the stream and among the trees. The house is comfortable, clean, and well- equipped. We took advantage of hiking nearby at Linn Run State Park.

This was our second time at Fox Haven and it was as wonderful as the first. The kids spent the weekend exploring the surrounding area, splashing in the creek, while the adults enjoyed the massive fire pit with a never ending supply of wood. The inside is just as comfortable - perfect for cuddling up to a fire for a movie night!

Our group of 6 enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous cottage so much that we would like to make it a yearly destination. All of us would like to visit here for each season. The location is serene and lovely, and wonderful windows in the cottage allow you to enjoy all the natural beauty of the woods. The cottage is comfortable, well designed with great bedrooms and bathrooms, and a well equipped kitchen. The hosts are easy to communicate with and very helpful. As soon as we opened the door to the cottage we were charmed. We can't wait to come back.

Amazing place, amazing time

We have frequented vacation rentals and I must say that this rental was the best! Every little detail was well thought out. We don't have any complaints! It sure was a fun Christmas weekend! Loved the stream and the grounds! Went on short hikes even though the temp was 0! Will rent again!

We had a wonderful time at this well furnished cozy cabin!! Plenty of room, comfy beds, beautiful setting to enjoy nature and relax. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops to explore!! Highly recommend!!!

This was a great place for a relaxing getaway with an outdoor patio and fire pit right up alongside a pleasant stream. The indoor space was very clean and well equipped with everything I needed to prep dinner and plenty of windows to take in the outside scenery. Perfect for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

This is a lovely cabin located on a wooded property with a beautiful stream. The cabin is very clean, comfortable and well stocked in terms of bedding, dishes, etc. Please be advised that if you are traveling, for example, with small children, the elderly, or disabled individuals the cabin is heavily decorated in general and seasonally and that there are lots of fragile knick-knacks and displays along all walls and surfaces. It’s easy to accidentally break an item and incur a damage charge. Damage insurance is recommended and we hope ours will reimburse us for the objects we did break, a decorative wall plate and an outdoor plastic chair. Renters are asked to inspect the home upon arrival and to sign a document that states everything was found in order. Since items such as pillows and placements are counted by the cleaning company post-departure to ensure nothing was stolen or destroyed, I suggest that a complete inventory list should be made available to renters, so that they can be sure that all items are present upon arrival. Again, charges will be incurred if the cleaning company reports anything missing. Our family was charged $20 to replace two placemats although we did not use placemats during our stay. This cabin is fantastic for adult travelers who are very clean and careful. If you are like our group, staying with four disabled children, you are likely going to find it difficult to leave the cabin at a level of cleanliness and orderliness – even when completing all steps required for check out – that will not lead to additional charges.

Cozy and comfortable.

We needed a place to stay for my daughters wedding in the area, and we could not have found a more perfect place! The house was absolutely beautiful, every detail thought of, and every room was like walking into a decor magazine. Everyone slept very well, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the house provided everything we needed. The most striking part of the house, to me, was the huge dining room table, and the view from that room and the kitchen, of the nature and creek right outside the windows. We absolutely hope to return….thank you so much for providing such a wonderful home away from home.

GORGEOUS mountain cottage with every amenity you could ask for! Cozy, comfortable, and just like home but in the most amazing location! Far enough away from town to feel like you’re “away” but close enough to still have access to anything you’d need! We will absolutely be back!!!!

This is such a beautiful setting, the cottage is alwasy clean, and well equipped with everything you need. Our family enjoys the peaceful setting and outdoor space to relax. And plenty of space indoors as well. It is so nice to sit at the large dining table to eat, or play games, or just visit. We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay here.

The house was great for a family vacation. The creek in the backyard is amazing and was nice to just sit down and listen to the water. The beds were compfy and the house had lots of windows to enjoy. Location was good and close to plenty of things.

The location is quiet and secluded. The babbling creek and the firepit got a lot of use. It was a wonderful place to family to congregate and commune. Everyone loved it!

Check in was self explanatory, as was check out. All the convenience’s of home, tastefully decorated, plenty of spaces to be alone or to gather as family. The grandkids loved the stream passing by the house with wading, gathering rocks and connecting with nature. Centrally located to tour two FLW house’s, Flight 93 Memorial, and historic sites.

This was our third time staying at Joel and Noelle’s house and, again, it did not disappoint. We had a very rainy weekend but we played games at the dining room table and enjoyed the fireplace and just relaxed. This house just lends itself to relaxing! Everything is perfect in this house.

The little stream sings you to sleep each night after hiking at Linn Run State Park, or shopping in Ligonier, or just chilling on the slate patio. Many gathering areas for hanging out - large firepit, patio, upstairs deck. Even caught a little crayfish and salamander! We all said we wanted to live there!

This cottage is perfect, located next to a beautiful stream, firepit, beautifully decorated & cozy. Perfect place to unplug from this chaotic world and reconnect with what is really important. Family, friends spouse & sanity!!!!
