Great View, comfortable, great location and very “homey” place to stay! Highly recommend

I went for the view and it didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed sitting on the lounger enjoying the scenery and fire place. The bed is comfortable. I loved being able to cook my own meals and eat it while seeing the beautiful view. I plan to visit again.

Perfect for a trip to the beach. Clean, well appointed and comfortable with pleasant, unfussy decor. Every thing needed for nice stay. We look forward to our ext trip.

Check in and check out time should be changed. It gives you very little time to stay and relax. Asked to check in early, but I guess cleaning takes six hours. Then closely looking at the place cobwebs, dust bunnies in corners of wall, baseboards dusty. The place (other units) empty so not the time of year others would be visiting as we were the only car in the parking lot. We could have checked in early.

Great location and access to the beach. Nice and cozy spot to curl up and listen to the crashing of the surf.

We had a great time! Our 6 month old lab had the time of her life. The grass areas immediately outside are off limits to pets but easy enough to get around them. The beach was quiet and just a 3 minute walk from the front door. We look forward to coming back soon.

Very clean and comfortable unit with nice kitchen and comfortable bed

Great place to stay. Close to everything in seaside - maybe 10 min away. Wish they would spend a few dollars on some sheets and pillows though. The sheets must be 100 thread count and the pillows are like empty sacks….other than that the place is great

Great place to stay for two of us and a dog. Nice, well appointed unit. Great views of the ocean and an easy walk to the beach. My only (very minor) feedback is that the sheets are due for replacement...they had a lot of pilling.

Pros: The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The trail to the beach was a nice walk and the sliver of ocean view was also nice. Cons: No way to control the heat. Upon check in the temperature was excessively warm. We didn't find a way to adjust the thermostat. Perhaps it was on a timer. The flickering lights were annoying when the dimmer switches were used. The inventory labeling for the dishware and the note on the fridge to be aware of the watchful neighbor who doesn't want dogs to be in certain areas of the yard was alienating. This property was advertised as dog friendly. On our last night there was a power outage so we left earlier than anticipated.

This place was better than expected, better than the pictures! I grew up in Rockaway so I’ve always had a cabin to stay down there. This was such a nice change of pace for my husband and I. Very clean, well equipped, and the views are spectacular. Also, it’s just a short short walk to the beach, and beautiful benches all along the seagrass for you to enjoy an even closer view of the ocean. Only a couple minor annoyances, like anytime the Nextdoor condo cooks, your entire condo smells like bacon grease, or whatever they’re cooking, but was mostly solved by just opening the back slider. Also, neighbors to our left were extremely loud, causing us to wake up all hours of the night from them slamming the two doors to go out to their car every hour or so. But hopefully the next tenants will be more respectful. Another note, is that you share your front and back patio spaces. Our neighbors didn’t really respect our space and kept going over to our side in the front deck space. While I’m ok sharing, I didn’t appreciate a tall man’s head right at my bedroom window trying to mess with all the stuff that was out on our side. Scared me to death when I wondered what the noise was, I opened the blinds in bed and a man is staring at you while you’re in your Pj’s lol! He was also very loud and yelling over and over to his wife about questions from like 20 ft away from one another. So I give this place five stars, because they probably don’t have much control over the next unit that’s shared.

Great location, a short walk to the beach, close to Seaside without the congestion. Condo was perfect for a couple weekend. Cozy with great views of the beach and sunsets.

We loved this spot, right on the beach, minutes away to everything Gearheart and Seaside have to offer! We will definitely return!!

We stay here every time we get a chance & love it! The screen door needs to be fixed and having the fireplace working again would be great, but I’m sure those things will be addressed soon.

Lovely pet-friendly condo with a patio and a short walk through a meadow to the beach. Close to golf course, a wonderful beach. Nice kitchen and comfortable bed. Super quiet!

This is a perfect space for 2 and our dog. We have stayed before and love the location! Beautifully updated with a over the dune view of the ocean

We stayed for two nights in August. The condo was nicely scaled for two persons and our small dog. We appreciated the architectural features: brick wall and sloped open beam ceiling in the living room, and the kitchen island. It was nice to be so close to the beach and to have a sliver of an ocean view.

Back door screen needs to be fixed. To hard to get in and out. Toilet continues to run. Overall very happy with the room.

The two of us and our dog were happy with the rental, the big green area where we could play with our dog. The beach is a short distance away (the path takes you to the beach where vehicles are allowed…go left 50 yards and they are not allowed). The fireplace should have been working and their should be more storage, but overall we enjoyed it.

Beautiful place, nicely cleaned and stocked!

Location was excellent. View was excellent. Condo was acceptable. Furniture needs to be cleaned to minimize the frigging dog hair. Not a dog lover and having to put up with dog hair is not good. Screen door fell off every time you tried to open it.

Gearheart is our new favorite destination on the Oregon coast. Beautiful beach without the crowds. We loved our view from the condo. A perfect space for getting away and enjoying nature. And just a short walk to McMenamins. We’ll be back again.

It is an older building but that's what makes it so unique,they do a good job on upgrades. Kept very clean. Yeah the gate sticks a little bit getting into the private patio, furnitures on patio it's older and worn.
If you want perfect rooms then go stay in one of those big monster six-story things! this is for people that want a real getaway.

So glad we found this place! It was super stormy the first night which was fun to watch and listen to. (Although there is a broken light outside that got a little annoying as it was super annoying with all the wind, it clanged against the wall). The next day it was super sunny, big windows really allow you to enjoy the weather! Beach is absolutely beautiful! Nice trail to the beach, but if you are not as mobile as you would like there is a vehicle access point a block or two away. I would love to come back to stay longer!

OK place... not great. There were some interesting issues with this small apt. First, the heat in both rooms was ON/OFF.... no thermostat regulator. So, turn it on til it got to hot and then turned it off. Also, the walls were very thin. A family right next door had a little one. Pitter Patter all day long (til 9PM bedtime). We ended up calling the child big foot! We also knew what they had for meals.... smells right through the walls. The furniture was rather dated. There were some end tables that had strategically placed coaters... which covered up bubbling particle boards and pealing paint. Kitchen was a little wonky. The butcher block table was backwards and there were signs not to use the "butcher block" as a butcher block... Signs also all over the place of where dogs are not allowed. Kinda strange to have to avoid the area right around the sliding door ... which didn't lock by the way. Needed a dowling on the bottom. Wouldn't recommend ... it was just a little "off"

This is our absolute favorite place to stay. Great accommodations, so close to the beach. Hope to make this a yearly trip.
