We were looking for a comfortable place to live and work remotely during a construction project at our home. This beach house was ideal - plenty of work space for both of us, and the house was equipped for people who were "really going to live here" (not just be on vacation). The kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need (even a meat thermometer!) and both the indoor and outdoor spaces were great. Plus, you can't beat the location - it's literally just steps to the beach access.

The beach was a short walk away. I took older parents and while they were able to make the stairs and the steep incline up and down from the beach, it was more challenging. The forced exercise is great but may not be for everyone. All
houses in the neighborhood had this same “issue” so this is not a reflection of the stay or the home, but good to consider. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was great and we would go back!

Susan was great to work with! Our favorite things about the property were the nice front and back yard and how easy it was to get to the beach and hang out. Also that it was dog friendly. We would definitely stay again as the house and location were lovely.

This is the perfect house for a long-term family vacation. We stayed for five weeks and loved every minute of it. Susan is a very responsive and gracious host. The house was as good as the pictures, if not even better. Very comfortable, fantastic location, and just the right size for a family of five and a dog. We didn’t want to leave, and we hope to come back! San Clemente is such a great beach town!

My husband and I stayed here with our two year old daughter and puppy for two months. For the second month, both sets of in-laws stayed, each for two weeks. We had an amazing time! The house was clean, well stocked with supplies, and the location can’t be beat. The yard was awesome, used it every day! Susan was a wonderful host, would stay again in a heartbeat!

Loved this property. Close to everything we wanted to do. Open and comfortable. Susan is prompt and available. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the house. Everything was clean when we arrived. The house was modestly equipped in regards to towels for the bathrooms and kitchen items. We didn’t do much cooking on this trip so it wasn’t a big problem. If your planning on cooking it might be an issue. Paper towels and napkins were scarce. Overall we enjoyed the house and would stay again.

Susan was great and the property was close to the beach. It was a little walk to get to sand but or was worth it. We got a little hot one day and no ac but other then that we would rent it again in a heart beat. A wonderful family weekend out of the desert heat.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The house is situated atop a set of steps which gives it privacy and quiet. The kitchen was well outfitted and everything was in working order. The owner was very easy to work with and had created a binder with all sorts of information for a renter. It was very nice!
Parking was a little tricky (we had 2 vehicles), but we were always able to find a spot within a short walk to the house.
We loved eating at the local fares, visiting the pier and seeing the sights of San Clemente.
I highly recommend this property!
