Place is well located, the resort facilities are very nice, the rental process went well. The only issue we had is the AC on the second master didn't work from day 1 and was not fixed for the duration of the trip (9 nights). The owner was able to send a person to fix the AC 3 days after we arrived. the first person was not able to fix it, then 2 days later someone else came to give it a try and he realized it was a module problem on the outside box, the part needed to be shipped from Oahu. We didn't hear form him again, it was already thrusday. We check out on Monday. Everything else went well.

We had an excellent stay in Hawaii. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Convenient location near beach and snorkel and hiking spots. Excellent kitchen area that included an outdoor grill, making it easy to eat in. We would stay here again.

We had 1.5 years old to 65 years old. The space, (bedrooms) was excellent for everyone. The back patio was ideal for the entire family. If anyone needed a quiet spot, they found their space.

We loved the location...short drive to K Center for shopping, eating out and a movie theater and we really enjoyed walking down to the resort and watching the sunset. Being on the golf course was fun and bird watching was very entertaining. Our place was clean and had a well stocked kitchen and the bbq was well used and enjoyed. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again and recommend it to families that enjoy all that the resort has to offer.

This was a very nice home in a nice area, close to a grocery store and not a far drive from the beach.

Our 2nd time staying at this condo. We were a group of 3 couples. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. We used the outside dining area for every meal. Private and quiet in the back over looking the golf course. Great location, grocery store just up the hill, snorkeling one mile on Ali'i Dr., and close to downtown Kona. The owners John and Claudette are great to work with. We will be returning.

This 3 bedroom 3 bath townhouse was an excellent property. The owners were responsive and the property was located close to a grocery and large drugstore as well as the departure bay for the manta ray tours at Manta Ray Village. A view of the golf course made this property quiet and serene with colourful birds visiting daily. The BBQ was convenient and the pool and tennis courts were clean and available. The owner provided 6 beach towels so we could use them on the nearby beaches and some pool noodles to relax in the ocean. The two negative remarks are not so bad. The wifi is run by the resort and the access in most of house is poor and the speed is just passable but if that is not needed, it worked fine for emails and local web lookups. The information sent to you upon confirmation is inaccurate providing the number of a manager who no longer is associated with the property and wrong wifi codes but don't worry, the right information is all on the counter on cards. The house is well equipped with well maintained appliances, lots of dishes and detergents so you can keep your clothes, linens and towels clean. We didn't use the a/c in January and the windows and ceiling fans were more than adequate. I would definitely love to use this property again.(just warn the kids about wifi so they don't whine and they get outside). Be warned, the master bedroom is luxurious so enjoy yourself. Kona Coast 4-102 could not have been any better. It was spacious, well furnished, very comfortable, and best of all, perfectly located. It was amazingly close to so many things we wanted to do while on the Big Island. We, honestly, could not have asked for a better place to stay. In addition, when we had to make an adjustment to our arrival, the owner was very helpful in coordinating with us and was as accommodating as possible. Staying at 4-102 was a great experience and one of which I would highly recommend others take advantage.

The place is a great home away from home. We are a family of 7 (adults, young adults and older teens)and it provided enough space for everyone to sleep comfortable with fans and air conditioning. They provided plenty of linens and towels in the bathrooms and kitchen use. They had separate towels for the pool which can be used at the beach also. There is a large washer (with soap) and dryer, so packing light was easy because we would do laundry mid-week. The kitchen had more than the basics for a larger family than ourselves(crock pot, blender, plastic containers, various cooking utensils, rice cooker, keurig and coffee pot, dishwasher w/soap) Previous guests left some spices (salt, pepper), oils (canola), dry goods(oatmeal) but nothing was spoiled. They provided a soap bar and we brought our own shampoo. Previous guests left sunscreen and some beach items, but we brought our own. The grocery store is very close (walkable, but up a hill) so it's easy to buy items as needed. This was our first trip to Big Island and we spent all our time here. We did 2-2.5 hr drive day trips to other places like Hilo, Mauna Kea, Waipio Valley. We chose to do it that way so we can settle into one place. The Kona side had plenty to offer also and its a drier side. The property had a volleyball court (we played two nights, fun, soft sand), basketball court (half court, shorter rim), swam in "quiet pool", and their gym is small. We didn't get to try their on-site restaurant. The sunsets from the resort is gorgeous! We had our designated parking spot. There is a place to rinse off beach gear. When I had an issue, the owners were prompt to answer questions and were helpful. I would definitely come back again. Owners to check on: The rice cooker didn't have a lid?? We were able to use it with foil (big costco roll left behind, thank you!) We only saw one wooden cutting board, additional ones would be helpful. The "Splash" was closed so we ended up having to wash our pool towels.

Our family of 8 stayed at the Kona Coast Resort townhouse (4-102) in mid-Late July for 8 nights. Because of Covid and because we live on opposite sides of the US, we had not all been together in two years. It was a treat to be able to stay under one roof and have family time. There were three families (8 people)—the parents—a son/wife/daughter, and another son/wife/son; the 3 bedrooms and 3 baths worked out great giving each family its own bedroom and bath. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances for cooking, and we cooked in most nights. The washer and dryer was very nice to have also. The lanai with the large table made eating more fun. The kids loved watching the birds, lizards, and the mongoose come by while eating and playing on the lanai. The pools were nice, and access was easy. We were also able to go to different beaches and sightsee, so the location is good. There is a grocery store right up the road in walking distance which is convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we were in the area. Our hosts were responsive and easy to work with. It was a great trip, and the townhouse worked well for us.

It was wonderful. But I was surprised that there were so many big cockroaches on the road.

Our family of 6 adults and a 9 month old was perfect setting for us. The condo was equipped with towels, portable crib, high chair, the kitchen was stocked well with dishes and appliances. Close to Keahau Bay, downtown restaurants, grocery store and even the opposite direction south to 2 Step and Coffee Shack. The resort offered 2 pools with a kiddie pool, which we took advantage of after morning of snorkeling. We had a fantastic vacation and plan to return to Kona.

The condo is extremely well maintained, very clean, and generously equipped with linens, kitchen and dining needs, and other supplies. Easy walking distance to small shopping area with supermarket, pharmacy, and a few restaurants. We recommend for families or couples.

We had so much fun here. Very secluded condo and large! The beds were comfortable, view was beautiful, close walk to a great grocery store and farmers market. Quick drive to the beach. The owner was friendly and responsive. Kitchen is fully stocked, there is sun screen, towels, even hats for the beach. We would definitely come back here.

We had a lovely time staying in unit 4-102 of the Kona Coast resort. The unit was lovely and spacious and well maintained. Plenty of room for 6 to stay and hosting extended family staying in another unit. The unit was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Would love to stay again in the future.

Just got done with a 10 day stay in Townhome 4-102 at Kona Coast. The condo is great! There was plenty of room for three couples. The location off of Ali'i drive is very nice: close to town, close to Keahou Bay, and close to restaurants and a great grocery store. We would absolutely stay here again.

We spent a week at this condo with our family consisting of five adults and two children. Everything met our expectations. While this resort is not on the beach, it is convenient to public beaches and a shopping mall so groceries, etc. were easy to get to. Highly recommended.

Just want to thank John and Claudette for a wonderful time in their condo. The home was clean, well kept and very roomy. The beds were extremely comfortable, the condo was well equipped, the resort was great and the whole experience was fabulous. We had a large group (6 adults and 3 children). There was plenty of room for all of us and, with a 10 month old with us, the porto-crib and his chair were a real plus. All of the sand toys also helped with the other kids. Loved being close enough to the shopping center to walk and 10 minutes from downtown Kona was wonderful. The suggestions they left behind for places to visit and things to do were really helpful and all of them made our trip all that more worthwhile. If we decide to come to Kona again with this same group, we will definitely be looking to stay there again. Can't really express just how wonderful it was. Thanks again for a fabulous time!!!

Nicely furnished Townhouse off Alli drive close to shopping but out of the business district. Close to ocean, snorkeling and golf. We had a great time.

This beautifully appointed condo has everything you'll need for your home away from home. We especially enjoyed the open design which made it easy for the family to gather and visit. The location is extremely convenient in terms of getting to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The condo complex is well maintained and has plenty to entertain the youngsters and the young at heart.

I was with my son and his wife and a friend. We each had our own room and bath, which was great, and I love the comfy bed I had. Located on the 16th hole of the Kona Country Club, I loved the location as I am an avid golfer (although I only golfed once while there). We loved having a washer and dryer and a big kitchen. Its a great gathering place for evening entertainment with friends either by playing games at the large dining room table or watching movies on t.v. in the living room, or our own personal t.v. in each bedroom. Kona Coast Resort offers friendly activity coordinators, a fabulous pool, bar/restaurant and walking paths. All and all, we really enjoyed ourselves, taking day trips, touring, swimming, hanging out and enjoying the air conditioning when it was especially hot.

This condo was perfect for our family. We had 4 adults and 3 kids in our party and everyone had enough space. The condo is updated beautifully and they provided everything you could possibably need. The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked. Washer and dryer were a great addition. You are close to both pools and they provided towels which was awesome. We loved everything about this condo. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

John & Claudette's condo provided a great base for our vacation and outings on the Kona side of Big Islamd. Our family had adequate space and the furnishings and kitchen set up made this place a nice home away from home. It is conveniently located at the top of Ali'i Dr. within walking distance of the Keahou Shopping Center and away from the crowds of Kona central. Would definitely stay here again when we bring the family back to visit Big Island again.

We rented this condo for six ladies for 10 nights and we were definitely happy with it. It is a gorgeous condo, located near the upper pool that we spent alot of time in. The condo had all the things in it that we needed. The Lani's were so cool. We fed the birds every day and even had a couple of mongoose that stopped by. The golf course is so pretty. Everything was just what they claim it to be. All of us said we would definitely rent this condo again. It was especially nice having our own barbeque. The shopping center is very close so that made it very handy. All in all we were 100% happy! Was so nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Extremely well laid out floor-plan for this condo. It accommodated 6 adults and 2 children so very well during our 1 week stay. Fabulous location allows easy access to transportation routes. No parking issues within complex. The unit is stocked with everything one will need. Pool/spa/bar and food service within the complex is a big plus for those who do not wish to venture out of the area.

We stayed at this condo with our 5 children. We came over to Hawaii for our destination wedding and stayed a week . The condo was perfect . First off it was very roomy and clean . We loved the huge granite Island in the kitchen, great for preparing meals at the condo . We had the upstairs master bedroom which was very spacious and had a lovely and large master bath . We loved everything about this condo . It was so comfortable for our large family and the kitchen was full stocked with every kitchen gadget . It even had a coffee grinder ! The downstairs patio was great for having dinner outside , especially with the BBQ . The grounds of the complex were well kept and the kids pool was great !! We loved that there was also a restaurant where we could sit and watch the kids swim. The directions to the condo from the airport were so easy to follow. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to return . We loved waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning . I can't say enough great things, we were so pleased . We felt so at home at the condo. Can't wait to return !
