Our third time in Kauai. Great condo in Poipu that easily accommodated our family of 5 (12 year old, 2 teenagers, myself and my wife). Location was perfect for accessing Poipu Beach, Breakneck Beach, Shipwreck Beach, and all the restaurants in Koloa. Seems relatively recently upgraded on the inside (overall building is older, but decent). Kitchen was well stocked and there were chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and some beach toys in the closet. Plenty of linens, beach towels, kitchen towels, and bathroom towels. Very quiet property with well-insulated walls. We slept very comfortably! Views from the patio are gorgeous!
Property management was excellent, with clear and friendly communication throughout the stay. We even misplaced a key (long story - we retrieved it) and the property manager guided us to locate a spare to enter the property.
Only very minor gripe - when AC is on throughout the property the fan blows hot air onto the balcony patio making it hard to sit there. This was a problem for all the other condos in the building besides ours and wasn’t an issue throughout the stay, especially on the cooler days when we weren’t running AC.
Overall, would highly recommend this condo and this location!

Perfect condo at the Makahuena, our go-to location on the island. All was perfect.

Condo was as advertised. Location was fantastic and everything was neat and clean in the condo. Short drive to Poipu and Koloa.
Watching the waves hit the shore and seeing a sea turtle steps from the condo were cool.
Liz and the property manager were responsive if we had a question or concern.
Would definitely stay here again!
Thanks for helping make our first trip to Kauai a trip to remember.

Comfortable breeze and sounds of ocean. We didn’t miss the AC except when we first arrived on a hot day but just had to open everything up. Great trail to walk to beach, great spot on property to watch sunset, we played pickleball, good central location to do day trips north and west. Saw lots of whales and dolphins from balcony and cliffs.

We had a wonderful time in Kauai. The property was amazing and exactly like the pictures. Both Liz and our property manager Sophia were amazing. They both were incredibly helpful and quick to respond if we needed anything.

We had an amazing trip to Kauai staying at this condo. Plenty of room for a family of 5. Appreciated all of the bathrooms! Great location with breathtaking views.
Really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and beach umbrellas.

Great location overlooking the ocean. We were with 6 adults and the place provided enough space for all. Convenient location as a home base to see the island. The property manager responded to our questions and attended to the fixing of the leaking kitchen tap right away. If we ever come back to the island we would book this place again.

Loved this place. Location was perfect Beach's both directions. The pool and hot tub great for relaxing. Comfortable and beautiful the bedrooms really nice. I would stay there again also I would recommend it. We used the lawn chairs several times. Had a really nice time.

Wonderful condo with great ocean views. Perfect bedding arrangement for our family. Well-stocked kitchen. Plenty of coffee, spices, and cooking oil. Clean pool that we saw maintained every day. There's a fantastic spot to see the sunset on the property that provides great photo ops. Would love to stay again!

The perfect place for our family of 6 adults. A rare find with 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths! The condo was well equipped and comfortable. Loved the location and the sunsets were stunning.

Property is very conveniently located to beaches and shopping on the south shore. We loved the ocean views and the condo was a good size and well stocked for our family. Property manager was very communicative and helped us arrange for a late checkout on our departure date. Only real downside was no easy beach access, but that is resolved by a short 5 minute drive to the beautiful Poipu Beach. Overall a great property.

This property was fantastic for our group! Five adults in total: My parents, my brother, my husband and I. This spot is an easy walk along a path to the Hyatt beach or a quick walk or drive down to Poipu beach and Brennecke’s. Lots of good food choices in the area and a beautiful view of the ocean from the property. I absolutely recommend this spot for a family vacation!

The central location of the condo allowed for easy access to different parts of the island. The three bedrooms were comfortable and spacious and access to the pickle ball court was nice. The pool was refreshing and cleaned daily. We had a lovely stay and would definitely book here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We we’re Grandparents vacationing with our adult daughter, her husband and toddler. The unit is as described, clean and well stocked with everything you need - with a great view of the ocean and the pool, and in the best area of Poipu. Walk in one direction right on to the Heritage Trail that goes by the Grand Hyatt and onward for a gorgeous hike Or in the other direction a nice walk to Poipu beach. The only caveat is that if stairs are a problem this is not a good choice. Otherwise I highly recommend.

This condo is in a great location to get to the beaches, shopping, and it is centrally located to get to events. It has a nice view of the ocean and had everything that we needed in the kitchen. The third level does get a bit warm but the AC makes it quite comfortable. The facility was clean and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The host was very easy to work with and communicated all that we needed. We had a wonderful stay.

Great location and beautiful views!! Communication with property manager and owner was great. The third floor bathroom was a bit small especially the sink but in the end the unit worked out for our group.

We (4 adults and 1child) had a wonderful stay in this Apartment. It is very spacious. We enjoyed the great location and the amenities of the property.

The accommodations were perfect for our group of six. The condo was well stocked with spices and other kitchen items. The view from the balcony is amazing. The property is very clean and easy to get to. Please keep in mind if you have anyone in your party that has a problem climbing stairs there are several stairs to the condo and no elevators. There is no beach at the property but they have a lovely pool and the beach is not far from the condo. We were only at the property for three nights but enjoyed staying and would recommend this property.

Ocean views with all the comforts of home
Very good location with pretty much most anything you could ask for in a Kauai rental. It had a homey feel with a great view. Easy access to all the Southside has to offer within a relatively easy drive!

About a 15 minute walk to Poipu beach where there is great snorkeling (try Snorkel Bob's for renting equipment--very helpful & professional & excellent covid precautions). Other beach parks are 20-30 min away & worth exploring. Lovely spot with benches on the condo complex property for watching the sunset (we had a great sunset picnic there). Pool is big & was empty much of the time we were there. We were delighted that quiet hours were well respected & we never heard any neighbors. Hope we can come back again. Definitely recommend this rental.

We had friends at The Hyatt and the coastal trail outside of the condo was wonderful for a 10 min walk back and forth. I also loved the walk to Shipwreck Beach as well. My husband and I sat outside on the balcony every morning drinking coffee and one day even saw dolphins swim by. The amenities were absolutely perfect for our family. The 2 twins in the 3rd bedroom were perfect for us. I loved all of the bathrooms. The kitchen was clean and had necessary supplies. The unit having a washer and dryer was great for us. I also loved the condo offered beach amenities. Thank you Liz for a wonderful experience.

Wonderful stay.
Fantastic condo in a great location. We loved being so close to the hiking trail and to the beach. Well equipped with all of the essentials. The ocean view was beautiful and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We will definitely be back.

Also - if you want to park two vehicles let them know in advance or they won't leave two parking passes! The view out the lanai was great.

At Poipu beach mink seals were near by but not bothering anyone. Snorkeling there is great. If you take the road past the grand Hyatt until it ends, there is a short east hike to a cave and secluded beach. Easy hike for kids and adults of all physical stamina. Though only 20 miles, the trip to Hiamea Canyon and falls takes an hour to drive to. The hike is only for those who are prepared for hills and changing weather conditions.

The property was just as it was described! Spacious, clean and well stocked. We had a beautiful ocean view and it was so peaceful listening to the ocean. Our family of 5 adults had a fabulous time. We used the beach chairs, towels, cooler and boogey boards that were provided. It was a quick 8 minute walk to Poipu Beach and around 15 minutes to Shipwreck beach and was centrally located to many activities, shopping and dining. The pool and hot tub was also great. We had a wonderful experience working with the owner Liz and especially Novella the property manager.

The condo was okay - clean and well appointed. It is not well suited to small children or seniors. Too many stairs, beds on 3rd floor were very uncomfortable (floor was more comfortable), and the ice maker made ice but did not dispense.
