Me and wife went for a weekend get away. Wonderful place. Close enough to town to do things and far enough out we didnt feel crowded. Beautiful scenery. Wonderful hosts.

Great place nice to have flat fire area with seating (great swing) right by the water and two kinds of grills. Got married upstairs in pouring rain and it was perfect, just us and a preacher. Host thought of every detail to make stay enjoyable down to the little rugs by the bedside since its hardwood floors. Look forward to a return on our anniversary.

This was just what we needed! Everything was perfect and peaceful! Would definitely go again! The lake was beautiful! Also enjoyed using the paddle boat.

This is hands down the best VRBO location I have ever been to, and the best VRBO hosts we have ever had! Bob and Jan thought of EVERYTHING. There were muffins, eggs, and cereal in the fridge for our first breakfast, the fire pit outside was already prepared and just needed to be lit, they had us stocked with water and coffee pods for the Kurigs, there were flashlights, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, lists of restraunts and places to fish, games, dvds,books, everything you could think of that you might need, they had it taken care of. They really go above and beyond for their guests! And they have quick communication if you have any needs! We were looking for a secluded getaway for my birthday and this location did not disappoint. And its just a short drive from the town of Hot Springs. Its a little piece of property people only dream of having! I woke up at 6 am every morning just to drink my coffee on the fishing dock and watch the sunrise. Every day I saw so much wildlife. Deer, geese, ducks, many species of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and a bald eagle that periodically flew across the lake. The only thing I didn't like about this place was the fact that we had to leave! They have a little canoe and a paddle boat if you want to take it on the lake, you can fish off the dock, you can grill outside if you don't want to go out. Ron Coleman Crystal mine is only about 25 minutes away.If we go back to Hot Springs I will definately be coming back to stay here

The cottage on the lake is secluded with beautiful lake views, just like the pictures. Bob and Janet have taken care of detail after detail in decor and amenities. Very clean! Lots of bottled water plus eggs, cereal, milk, and yummy blueberry muffins for us to have the first morning. What a nice touch! It was such a restful, peaceful stay; I didn’t want to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed the little cabin in the woods. The paddle boat was great. Such a comfy bed too. I loved the unique decor.

The property was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to a golf course, on the water with amazing kayaks, and only 15 min from downtown. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Stayed for two weeks at this wonderful cottage while exploring Arkansas bike trails. The cottage had special little touches all around, was so comfortable and the view with it's sunsets was everything the pictures show. Absolutely a great stay and Bob and Jan were very responsive if we needed anything at all. Highly recommend to anyone coming to this area!

This was the perfect for us. The owners (Bob and Jan) live next door, which made for easy communication, yet they also gave us privacy. This property was clean and perfectly located. Just 15-20 from the action of Hot Springs or Lake Catherine State Park. We stayed during a heat wave. We hiked in the morning and came back to relax in the cabin during the heat of the day. Perfect!

Very well maintained and stocked. Very clean. Downside was having bathroom and kitchen downstairs, which we knew ahead of time.

What a wonderful place! Peaceful, beautiful, stunning. With all that it's also very convenient to all the fun things to do in the Hot Springs area. The property is so well taken care of, the owners are responsive and sweet. We had a really delightful time! P.S. The listing pictures are gorgeous, but really don't do the real thing justice. The view of the lake is magic.

The place was perfect for our romantic get away. The cottage overlooks the lake, with a magnificent view of the sunset. The host was very hospitable! They were very responsive and attentive to our needs, even provided us breakfast for our first morning there! The cottage also had a canoe, kayaks and a paddle boat for us to enjoy. We enjoyed being out there on the lake in the evening, it was very quiet and peaceful. The location was close to everything, yet hidden enough to be a perfect romantic get away!

This was an excellent lakefront property. The hosts provide all the basic supplies you might need which makes for less trips to town and more time on the dock! They even supplied breakfast for our first morning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back some day.

The cabin was cozy and just as pictured! The location was great with awesome views of the lake. The hosts were excellent as well, with great communication, bottled water available everywhere throughout the cabin, and setting up a campfire every night! Would highly recommend!

What a relaxing stay on Lake Catherine! As soon as you walk in to the bedroom, you see huge open windows looking out over a peaceful cove. It’s truly amazing! The location of this cabin couldn’t be more perfect. We loved the dock within just a few paces from the cabin. Outside the lower level is a relaxing space with chairs, table and a swing. There is a very nice fire pit which was set up for us daily with kindling and wood. There’s nothing more peaceful than looking out over a calm lake under the stars with a raging fire. The cabin was well stocked with coffee, water and all kitchen utensils. The only challenge is the layout of the cabin with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom and kitchen downstairs, but the view alone from each level makes this cabin so worth it! Our hosts were so accommodating! We had breakfast items in the fridge for our first day and they were both so friendly and very responsive to any questions we had. We received several recommendations for fun things to do in Hot Springs which made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing time with beautiful scenery.

This property is exactly as advertised. It was so peaceful. The views are awesome. Plenty of extras and the property is clean and well kept. They even set us up for a bonfire. The bed was very comfortable as well. Janet was informative about things to see and do and very nice. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

One year anniversary with the wife, and we couldnt have chosen a better place to stay. Only problem is we couldn't stay longer. Bob and Janet are amazing, great communication.

My wife and I recently stayed at this lakeside cottage in Hot Springs and loved it. Even though you're very close to town you feel like you're at your very own lakeside cabin. The cottage itself was extremely clean and everything we could have needed was provided. We very much enjoyed spending our evenings sitting on the glider rocker in front of the firepit looking out over the lake. The dock was also a very relaxing place to spend time at during the day. I recommend trying to be back in time for the sunset as it's unbeatable. The hosts, Bob and Janet, are very friendly and knowledgeable on the area and are very fast to respond to any questions you might have about the property. Overall, I highly recommend booking this one if you can!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The thought and care that went into making sure we felt welcome was defintiely noticed. Location was a short drive to downtown but sequestered and private . The outdoor area with the porch swing, fire pit, and bbq pit was enjoyed every night, not to mention fully supplied and ready to use. The option for water activities with the canoe, kayaks, and paddle boat right on the property was such an added bonus. The overall accommodation was clean, well supplied, and truly above and beyond.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. We were there to celebrate husbands birthday. The thing we loved most was the peace & quiet. The views from upstairs were amazing. The moon was out one night & the lake & sky were so beautiful! It was a very secluded place & relaxing trip.

My husband and I spent our anniversary in Hot Springs and this cabin was perfect!!! So cute and absolutely peaceful!!! The owners made sure we had everything we needed! We will definitely return!

Had a great time, even though all my casting from the dock was for naught! The place was spotless, very well stocked, and even better than in the photos. Janet and Bob are excellent hosts and we'd definitely go back!

Home was exactly as described. Mrs Janet and Mr Bob are fabulous host. Made us feel very welcome. We had a great time just enjoying the beautiful area. I would definitely rent from them again.

This was the perfect place to rest and relax. It wasn't far from downtown hot springs, but honestly just staying in the cabin was more relaxing! The only thing is if you have trouble with stairs the bedroom and bathroom are on different floors and the stairs are wooden, so fuzzy socks are not the best combo! Haha!
