What a perfectly perfect place to spend our family Christmas! The lakehouse is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed (and more!). Only in Texas can you paddleboard on Christmas Eve!! We had a lovely time and appreciated the way the home was decorated for Christmas. A bonus we didn't expect! So thank you for that. :) Everything about the place was amazing~and it was SO big AND cozy! Truly one of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed in.

The house is just as the listing described. It’s absolutely beautiful! The one thing you need to know is the majority of the living space is up stairs - it makes sense due to the proximity of the house to the lake. If anyone in your party has problems with stairs, this may cause an issue. There is a bedroom, bathroom, and living area downstairs, but any family meals/kitchen time, is going to be upstairs. Eric is a great host! He contacted me on the morning of our first day to let us know the house was ready. When we got there, I had a question about getting into the boat house and Eric was quick with the response. All in all, I would say 10 out of 10 - would consider staying here again, (if not traveling with a family member with a slight mobility issue).

Best trip yet

Not only is the location ideal, the house has more than enough amenities to make this the perfect vacation! A private boat dock in a calm area if the lake where you can fish, swim, use the provided kayaks or stand up paddle board, or just enjoy the morning sunrise or sunset. The kitchen is well stocked for any level of cooking, and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of space for two families and you don't even feel crowded. This is our second year for us coming to this home and definitely not our last!

We have stayed here several times & this property never disappoints. It has a prime spot on the lake, tucked around the corner from all the busy lake traffic on a no wake cove, making it perfect for hanging out safely to float in water. The house is clean, open, lives large & is extremely well stocked. We bring our boat, getting gas is a breeze with Wake Point only a 2-3 min boat drive & private boat launch just across cove. Most importantly, the Moore family takes very good care of their guests, they stay accessible & respond in a timely manner with any questions or issues unlike most of the rental management companies we have dealt with. You wont find a large home like this or better location on the lake for the price, book it!

Our whole family, ages 14-85 loved the place. Weather was perfect and the oldest of us spent our time on the huge, shady porches watching and enjoying the younger ones in and around the water, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Would repeat again in a moment. The property location is lovely, among old oak trees with shady porches and pretty views across the cover and out into the lake. Only comment about maintenance was a couple of lightbulbs that burned out and couldn't replace, and more importantly, the fridge had a leak that left water under the produce drawers which froze and eventually leaked onto the floor. Phoned the property manager but he said he couldn't get to it until after we were gone.

This property was excellent! It was fully stocked with much more than I expected - ice bag, hand soaps, plenty of paper towels, TP, paper plates, detergent, and much more. Lots of parking space, we had 4 vehicles. Plenty of space for large groups to disperse and quiet/alone time. It had 5 bedrooms (one of which had several bunk beds), two full baths, 2 1/2 baths, and an additional shower. Large kitchen with all the basic appliances, cookware, silverware, glassware, dishes, etc. The view of the lake is gorgeous. So peaceful and beautiful. The old bridge/train tracks made for perfect pics. We drove a few miles away and did a light hike at Inks Lake Park. It was a wildflower paradise. I will definitely stay again. Great value!

We Loved the lake house, clean and accommodating. Beautiful views and so peaceful. We would have loved to have more time to enjoy it a little more. We were in town for my Sons Wedding in Burnet, so it was a busy few days. The Lake house was perfect and relaxing to come home to.

Great place to stay, big porches, boat slip, quiet cove. Fits a big group comfortably. Only the hint needed was a bigger trash can in the kitchen

We stayed here as a family Christmas where our young adult children could join us. It was perfect! Great location. Great energy in this beautiful home. And a great owner! Highly recommend this wonderful place to create new memories.

Large enough for all to have room. The outside areas were great to enjoy the weather and the kids were thoroughly entertained with the play set. The host was very responsive with any questions. Great place!

This rental was amazing! It was the perfect place for a large gathering. We stayed during the cold time of year, but the home had an upstairs area that was very cozy and warm. The area easily accommodated 14 people. This central area has a large kitchen, dining area, and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms surround the central area. Downstairs, the children delighted in have their own bedroom with plentiful bedding (single beds/bunkbeds with a bathroom/shower. There is a lot of outdoor seating for warmer times of the year. The surrounding area is very quiet and beautiful. We hope to return again. Everyone loved it!!

We stayed here again over the holidays and it always exceeds our expectations for a family get together. Will likely stay again in the future.

We had a family gathering at the lake and it was the PERFECT spot! Plenty of room, yard and play area for kids, fishing from the dock, well stocked kitchen and great beds. We will be recommending this place to others. Eric was great to work with and quick to reply!

Just what we needed and we picked the perfect time to go (October). Great location, super quiet, and beautiful views! The house is well equipped, had everything we needed and more! We did bring our own fishing rods, and HEB is just 5 mins away for groceries. The hosts are friendly and very responsive. Things to consider: If you're not used to stairs or have mobility issues, be mindful (our group ranged in age 58 - 98 and our legs were tired! Lol). The single bed in the 5th bedroom is suitable for a child, but mattress may be too thin for an adult (however the downstairs sofas are comfy for sleeping). Life vests are provided, but most were adult size small. NONE of this affected the enjoyment of our stay! We would definitely book again and again!

Quiet part of the lake at the end of a cul de sac. Very clean, well stocked, comfy beds, great shaded decks.

Our family (7 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs) love this property! It has plenty of room for everyone to sleep, lounge, eat, and play games comfortably. It's in a perfect spot with easy access to the lake and great swimming. The house has everything you need and the owners are very responsive. This was our second visit to the house and we can't wait to come for our 3rd next year!

We arrived at the property and were amazed at the scenery. The boat docks made it super easy to get right on the lake and the quiet cove was very peaceful. My family could not stop saying how great a spot it was and how we should do future gathering there again.

It was just too good not to brag about. Welll stocked, roomy, great indoor and outdoor gathering places, comfortable beds, quality bedding. We’ll be back.

Our family of 11, stay at Lake LBJ every year just to relax and enjoy each other’s company for a few days. This year’s experience was wonderful. The location of this home was so convenient and the home is beautiful and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and even comes equipped with a single serve Kuerig coffee pot for convenience along with a regular brew type coffee maker. We loved that they had a portable crib along with booster seats, kitchen utensils for kids and baby books. We really had everything we needed and then some! The beds were very comfortable in the four bedrooms upstairs, and the (6) bunks and single bed down in the bunk room were well laid out. I think this is a perfect property for multiple families to share with a lot of children. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and play areas to spread out!! With a game table, foosball table downstairs and a TV our teens enjoyed that area too and thanks so much for the mini frig in that area, convenient to the outside patio. You thought of all the conveniences! The cove is a no wake zone that is just next to the open water, for the boating and jet ski enthusiasts! It also has a boat launch right across the cove from the house, where one of the rental places made delivery of their rentals to. We weren’t up to speed on the rules and regulations to rent a jet ski or boat this year, but next year that is definitely on our list of to do’s! Our baby girl in the family loved feeding the ducks that visited our dock twice a day and was a big hit also! She enjoyed the baby swing on the play scape in the side yard too. The side yard was perfect for yard games too, nice and shady and level for playing!! There was a SUP and Kayaks in the boat house as well as life jackets but we brought our own water toys and ended up not using them. It is a plus though that they offer them, because not all rentals do have them available. The H‑E‑B and DQ was right around the corner less than 4 minutes away, which is one of the most convenient locations we ever stayed at. Communication with Eric was awesome and when we had a question about the property. He responded immediately.!! Thank you Eric, Your home is top on our list for another stay! We highly recommend this property for your next Lake adventure with a large group. It was perfect!

As presented in the offering-the photos will show you the quality of this property. The back of the property (Water side, decks) faces southeast right into the prevailing summer wind. This makes the decks very enjoyable throughout the evening despite100 degree temps. Excellent location on a quiet cove with the lake nearby.

This was the perfect lake house rental. Everything was clean and in good condition. The property had several water toys for the kids and the swimming area off the dock is perfect for young kids. The location is nice and shady in the afternoon which is a must for this area. The property manager was very accommodating and easy to work with. I couldn’t have asked for a better property. We were here with my mom,dad,brother and sister and their families and everyone enjoyed their stay. I only wish we would have stayed longer.

This property has easy access to lake from private peaceful cove. The house is very comfortable and spacious. Great outdoor space and convenience of the boat lift. Had a great time, felt right at home!

This lake home is everything it was described as and more! The property owner goes above and beyond for his guests and the accommodations were just super! There were 6 adults and 5 children and no one ever felt crowded at all. An enormous THANK YOU to Eric! His efforts to make his guests comfortable - even down to the smallest detail were very much noticed and appreciated! Would definitely return and highly recommend!

Our second stay at this house & already have plans to return next summer. Advantages: house is clean, open & lives large inside & out, well stocked kitchen with paper products & even laundry & dishwashing detergents, lots of parking available in driveway (including covered shaded area), no wake cove, convenient private boat launch right across cove, close to HEB & other restaurants nearby, feels very private at end of cul de sac with no neighbors on one side, & most importantly owners are extremely responsive if you were to need anything. Disadvantages: NONE!

I highly recommend this property if you’re into a clean, well stocked house, accessible host, great location and super fun time. Everything was perfect from the time we booked to the time we departed the house. We will go back again and again!
