It was directly across from the entrance to the beach which made it so nice for all ages. We had enough space that everyone was comfortable and could have time together or time to themselves if desired. The front porch was one of our favorite spots to sit and drink our morning coffee. The kitchen/dining areas were a great space for all of us to eat together and the island was perfect for laying out the meals. The amenities of the resort were fantastic and very well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and courteous at every interaction. We had a few concerns that we shared with property management: the cleanliness when we arrived, broken towel racks, batteries needing replaced in smoke alarms and alarm system, and all the beds were very uncomfortable and felt like boards. They responded quickly with updating all alarms, apologized for the cleanliness and offered to send someone right away. The towel racks no one came to fix but we made due and we had no expectations of replacing mattresses that was more for awareness to hopefully help the next guests be more comfortable. We would 100% stay here again without a doubt!

Our weather did not cooperate most of our stay but that didn't stop us from having an amazing time. The proximity to the beach could not have been better, especially with 7 little kids. The accommodations have sometimes been flawed via our selection of rentals, but the staff and surrounding environment always made up for it. Our annual Cousin Camp experience could not have a better environment. We will continue our annual trek to this great family oriented resort as long as possible. Great place, great people and a wonderful place to build memories.

Spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and rooms / spaces for all our family, we loved our time here so much we rebooked it for next year. The furniture is comfortable and in great condition, beds are soundly comfortable, the place is clean and tidy and very welcoming. Plenty of parking out front and it's spacious inside for easy entertaining but also affords plenty of space if you just want to get away from your family for a bit (honest, this happens at some point in every vacation).It's got everything you need to cook for a big group (which we did - let's hear it for nightly dinners), it's conveniently located to the beach (right across the street so no need for a golf cart to ferry you around) and we loved the extra guest house for folks who wanted to get to bed early and get extra peace and quiet. We've stayed in other places before that were a bit run down by the summer rental traffic and we found this place pleasantly NOT to be that way. We were not disappointed and you won't be, either!

Beachwalk community was so charming. Our kids loved riding their bikes especially to the BeachHut for ice cream. This house is well-designed, well-furnished, and very well-equipped. It is not, however, as well-maintained as it should be. We enjoyed our stay, but here are issues that detracted: 1) Actual problems with the house: • The TV in the lower level does not receive cable channels • The sink sprayer is broken • The clothes dryer squeaks so loudly that we took our clothes to the Guest House for drying • In the Guest House bathroom, the hand towel holder & bath towel rack are both broken • In the Guest House kitchen, two of the under-cabinet lights don’t work • The electricity was completely out in two of the bathrooms when we arrived. We asked for help but nobody ever came. Eventually we discovered a tripped circuit breaker ourselves. 2) Other issues or observations with the house: • One of the carriage lamps on the Guest House has pulled away from the wall • Holes in screens – front porch window and Guest House deck door • The Guest House HVAC is quite noisy inside • The outdoor HVAC units need cleaning – they’re less efficient when clogged 3) Issues with housekeeping or BVR: • The house was not perfectly clean. There is dust on many surfaces, such as Venetian blinds and window sills. Windows and screens need to be cleaned. There are cobwebs outside. • The garbage can and recycle containers were overflowing when we arrived on Saturday. On Sunday I went to the office and asked for the containers to be emptied. One was emptied on Tuesday, but the other was not emptied until I complained about it again on Wednesday. The staff at the BVR office was very friendly, but that doesn't make up for the mediocre performance of the maintenance, housekeeping, and sanitation workers.

We had 6 families coming together from various areas and the house provided the perfect home base. Between the guest house and main house we had plenty of room for everyone, with some to spare. The main floor has newly been redone and its very nice. With 18 people, we always had room for everyone to sit and hang out. The house was in a great location - right across the street from the path to the beach, which was very convenient with a bunch of little kids. My only complaint would be that the floors on the main level were pretty dirty. We all had very dirty feet after only about 30 minutes of being in the house, but it wasnt a huge deal. We would definitely rent this house again.

We enjoyed some of the extras like a closet full of board games, a sound machine in the bunk room, and everything in the kitchen you could possibly need (including a crock pot). The kitchen comfortably seats 15 guests. Four families stayed in this rental, and we had plenty of room. My only piece of advice is that the rental cottage with 2 additional bedrooms was not ideal because it had too many stairs for older guests. Also, we were hoping a family with young children could use the guest cottage, put the kids to bed and hang out with the adults on the deck at night. This was not possible because there is no access to the rental from the deck (the door to the cottage is on the opposite side from the deck). The cottage would be better for a family with older children. The resort had a nice pool, paddleboards, and kayaks to offer.
