We had the most wonderful time especially our bub and dog! The location is perfect with the beach right across the road (dog beach further up the street) and close to Swansea shops. The property was secure so we had no fears our dog would get out while playing in the yard. Janette was extremely helpful and let us know where to go particularly places that were pet friendly. We will definitely be booking again!

Janette was so lovely to deal with. The house is spacious and we all enjoyed the pool and the beach across the road. Will definitely want to stay here many times.

Friendly and Easy to deal with (The Host) had the house in a great clean order. Friendly and nothing was a hassle. If you want a great stay with ease of beach access and plenty of space I’d highly recommended booking here. We really enjoyed our stay at this house! 2 families, 5 kids (1 to 7 y old), April 2023. As other reviewers said, it is a classic old beach house - nothing fancy, but breezy and laid back. A few useful things to note: it is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. There are two very decent sized queen bedrooms with comfy beds, and 2 bunk-bed rooms. There are two decent bathrooms with showers (no bath), and two living areas inside, plus two seating areas outside. One living-dining room is spacious with ample sofa area and a large dining table... and the other is more like a kids' rumpus room with a pool table (doubles as a pingpong table), pinball machine (needs coins) and a working arcades game. 2 TVs. Has aircon in some spaces and ceiling fans. The swimming pool was enjoyed by the kids (but it was cold - it was April). Plus a newish big BBQ. If you like glamorous, renovated spaces, then maybe this isn't for you. But if you don't mind a place that is a bit old and tatty but comfortable enough, then definitely consider it. A few tips: BYO tissues, dishwashing soap / dishwasher powder, olive oil, bathroom shower soap, and maybe a big sauce pan/pot if you plan to cook a big pasta dish (we had to cook our pasta in batches, but we were cooking for 9). The place can be a little light on the essentials. But that said - we found the supply of linen, blankets, towels and crockery to be ample and clean. Jeanette was very helpful & always available on the phone.

Amazing location, really close to everything! Kids enjoyed the pool and the outdoor space.

Great place to hang out with family , location was perfect for us and the games room was a big hit . We went to the rsl club for dinner which was less than a 5 minute drive

There was no air conditioning in 3 bedrooms which is big joke specially in hot summer time. Very rude and poor communication by property owner Janette. It’s mentioned that 10 people can stay but accommodation was only 8 people. Don’t west your money behind these property guys. When you are on holidays you don’t want to come back even more tired with sleepless nights because of not enough facilities.

The Property was spectacular, the location was as advertised just metres from the beach, really serene and quiet. The pool was just amazing and the layout just suited us so much, we loved the idea of a pool table but we were so stunned thatbwe got a pinball macine and starwars game, the generation gap was fufilled thanks to our gracious host, loved your concern for our situation. Thanks we will be back.

Unfortunately we were only there for one night and most of that was at a family function so we were not really able to appreciate the house or area to any great extend. Our stay for 7 adults from 30 to 90 yo was very comfortable. Oh, we took our two small dogs and the house and yard is very dog friendly. We used a local dig sitter while we were out. All up, it was a very good stay.

We enjoyed our stay so much we are already planning when to go back. The house is comfortable and very dog friendly. The pool was a highlight for us. But the board games and pool table were fun too. Nice bbq and outdoor setting. Beds were comfortable. Our host was fantastic offering suggestions of local dog friendly activities and places to visit

My friend & I had an amazing time at Janette's beach house. Janette was very helpful, it's close to shops, the beach is literally across the road & the pool is just a perfect way to relax. Our dogs also enjoyed the fenced in yard. Thank you Janette, we will definitely be back!

We spent two weeks at this property and I can honestly say it was one of the best family holidays we have had. It is located directly opposite the entrance to Blacksmiths beach which is dog friendly 24 hours a day at the northern end. The house is spacious and easily accommodated 8 people. We had friends stay for two nights and we had plenty of room. After a day at the beach the pool was a great place to regather and cool down. We used the BBQ every night which my husband said was fantastic and so easy to use. The arcade games, pinball machine, pool table and board games provided a lot of entertainment. We brought bikes with us and cycled everywhere as it’s pretty flat. We also brought kayaks and used them over at Swansea heads where there are 3 beautiful relatively flat beaches , also dog friendly. My teens had surfing lessons every morning for the first week and jumped out of bed every morning to get there. Having two bathrooms was great, plus washing machine and dryer was needed on a few occasions. This place is a beach cottage with lots of light and airflow. It has air conditioners and fans and like all beach cottages has wear and tear from the salt and sea air and from lots of use and traffic of people through the house but it was perfect for us to relax and enjoy time out. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

We stayed at this property for a family beach holiday. Plenty of space for everyone with multiple living spaces and great location, you can hear the waves from the house. A little bit of TLC needed at the property but it was great for our needs.

Sooo much fun! We all enjoyed the property very much, was big enough to have some quiet time, but multiple entertaining areas (e.g the pool, the ping pong/pool table room and outdoor dining) that we all enjoyed very much, I really hope to see this property again, many fun memories made here.

We would recommend this property if you want a beach stay with your family and furry family members.

Chilled relaxed with a perfect set up for family & friends. Games room brought back memories. Beach exactly as advertised 2 min walk!! The sound of waves going to sleep 😁. Although could do with a bit of renovation, it just reminds me of the days growing up. Excellent place & host

The property was ok for a shabby beach house. Pool was dirty, not full, owner asked me to fill it upon check-in even though they were just down the road. Pretty basic with amenities, eg one chux and a tiny amount of dish liquid. No cushions on the exterior lounge and grubby pool toys were strewn around the place. Clean inside, just basic.

Close to everything but in the perfect spot to enjoy a quite stay with the beautiful beach just across the road.

Me and my friends had the best time away here loved the house and location to the beach,we will definitely be bak again. 😁

Our big group of 3 families plus puppy enjoyed the stay here :) property was roomy enough to accommodate us all with nice outdoor area. Even had dog bowl and doggy doo bags for cleaning up. The kitchen could do with some tea towels and more pots and pans/utensils.

Nice spacious beach house, although it was winter and very cold it was a nice getaway Bonus for any kids were the arcade games and pool table
