The house was lovely and clean, powerful air conditioning + constant breezes made it really comfortable. The pool and outdoor area were beautiful and private and we watched the sun set there multiple times! Paul was a great host and made check in and check out super easy! We loved our stay and already want to come back

Paul and Kay are some of the sweetest people we’ve met. Gave us recommendations when we would see them and always asking if we needed anything. The view from the property is unreal. It’s 10/10 better than staying in a busy hotel. House is also right next to a walking path that goes down to the water. Would stay here again.

This property is in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to a lot of amenities (I.e: grocery’s, restaurants). It has its own swimming pool and beach access is right next to the property. The view of the beach/ocean is magnificent! Very private for couples who likes their privacy. Would highly recommend this property and definitely would like to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paul’s place. Loved the location and the view. We also enjoyed soaking in the hot tub every night after our hikes. Paul was very friendly but not intrusive. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

We had a wonderful time at Paul’s property! Near to Kona but quiet neighborhood and great views from the pool and back yard. The hot tub and pool were an amazing way to end a day of exploring every evening.

Well located, comfortable accommodations with an amazing view. We enjoyed the pool/jacuzzi every day and watched dolphins play in the bay. Our hosts were welcoming and we had a wonderful stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay! Paul and Kay are amazing and their home is well loved and taken care of. The East suite was comfortable, amazing view of ocean and hot tub was a nice way to start and end our days. Looking forward to visiting again and staying at the location.

Amazing view of the water and mountain. The accommodations are clean and spacious. Loved the pool, outdoor cooking, and beach access.

Coming around the corner to our unit we saw our almost private pool and the ocean view is spectacular! Walking down to the rocky beach is a cinch. Such a relaxing space: listening to the birds, relaxing in the sun or shade, taking a dip in the pool. Cooking meals is different than at home, we made due and enjoying our meal with this heavenly view is perfect. The owners were friendly and available if needed. Hope we can come back again!

This was the perfect place for us to get away for a long weekend. Mostly private pool, yard, and beach! If you are like me and don't want to deal with the crowds of a resort or hotel, this is a great place for you too. So glad we found this place for my first time in Hawaii!

My husband and I stayed at Paul and Kay's house for our honeymoon and it was so perfect ❤️ waking up everyday and looking out at the ocean was breath taking! They are one of the sweetest couples we have ever met and they are great for giving recommendations for where to eat and places to see. The house is in a very nice neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. We stayed in the east suit and it was perfect for the two of us! They are about 15 minutes from town and about 20 minutes from the airport which made getting around very easy! We are definitely going to be staying here again! Thank you so much Paul and Kay!

There are 2 units for rent. Located right by the ocean, you can enjoy listening to the waves, all day and night. Paul the owner is great!

Amazing view. We needed a relaxing location. The ocean was visible from every room. Watching the surfers and boats was entertaining. Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. Would love to go there again.

We really enjoyed the pool, patio and peaceful view. The space is a bit quirky, but it works. This unit has an expansive patio. We are so glad we decided to stay here.

A wonderful spot to relax and watch the waves. Hosts are very kind and helpful with any needs. We will definitely be back again.

Our goals for my birthday trip was to do a lot of snorkeling, refuel our spirits and have a relaxing time - Paul and Kay’s home provided exactly that, and more. They accommodated us beyond expectation and we loved being able to stay with them in their extremely well thought out home. We hope to see them again soon when we return for our annual birthday trip. We enjoyed the pool with the diving board and the gorgeous ocean views. The location was serene, but it was quick to get onto a bigger road. We had only one issue (AC broke), but Paul fixed it as soon as we told him. I highly recommend this wonderful rental!

Really enjoyed the location, the quality of the apartment, the communication with the host. all perfect and hoping to be able to book this unit again.

Had a wonderful stay in this place, in a quiet residential neighborhood, with ocean view from suite, or from the semi-private backyard and pool. Very central location, within 30 minutes to Kona airport, 60 minutes to Hapuna State Beach Park, 2hr from National Volcanoes National Park, and walking distance from kayaking and manta ray tours in Keauhou Bay, all of which we went to from our lovely base at this place. Also spent several days just enjoying the property, lounging poolside or cooling off in gorgeous large pool. Beach chairs and unbrellla were a great amenity to have. East unit is clean and comfortable with AC window unit in bedroom for cooler sleeping at night. A small but functional indoor/outdoor kitchen worked well for us along with the grill. Pool and yard shared with West unit and owners but still felt some privacy. Paul and Kay were friendly hosts and communication was great all along the way. Would definitely consider staying here again if we come back to the big island!

We spend our honeymoon at this house and it was perfect. Everything you need is there. Chairs and towels for the beach. Cooling box and snorcel stuff. The pool is warm and everything is very clean. We hope one day we came back for another vacaition.

Paul and his wife were awesome Hosts!!! Not only were they easy to communicate with their hospitality was great! Their cute little rental was Amazingly super clean and decorated nice! We were literally steps away from the pool and spa and the ocean view was GORGEOUS!!! I highly recommend this cute property!!! We will most definitely be making this our yearly rental in Kona! Paul is a wonderful, patient host. We had a few issues with our flights and plans so I had to do a lot of communication with Paul. He was so very patient and helpful during each interaction I had with him. The property is just perfect, such a view! To fall asleep to the sound of the surf each night was amazing. They've provided of everything you might need - boogie boards, beach chairs, ice chest, an ice pack, beach towels, everything! Before the trip I had been worried about what a "medium size refrigerator" would hold, but it was quite large enough for anything we'd need during a vacation. No worries there. We also enjoyed the path to the ocean that is just next door. We had trouble leaving the house because we just wanted to sit on the lawn and soak up the view. We highly recommend this place and plan to stay here again if and when we return to the Big Island.
