Very relaxing to sit on the porch and watch the river. We caught up with some good friends and this place was very convenient to some very good restaurants

This place is so conveniently located. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. No need to get into traffic. We stayed Memorial Day weekend, it was a busy time, but we could not hear any street noise on the back deck. It was raining some of the time and still was able to enjoy sitting outside and watching the river. Highly recommend!

Wonderful townhouse with everything you need for relaxation (and then some) Great location near everything in Helen. Beautiful decor, Extremely clean and the information binder was very helpful. River view was great. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the best place for you though as you have to go up 2 flights to get to the front door and then the bedrooms are upstairs. No problem for us but something to keep in mind if you have problems, climbing stairs

This was the best rental stay we have had. Has everything you need. Beautiful area. Loved the hot tub and being near the river. Very relaxing! Would love to stay again sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Loved the views being on the river and the 2 levels of back decks. Also enjoyed being able to walk into downtown. Older but clean and well kept property. We would love to return one day!

Property was as described. Loved the river and hot tub! Beds were comfortable. My Grandson did not want to leave. Would rent again!

Loved the location of this property! We enjoyed sitting in the decks and listening/watching the river! So relaxing! The hot tub faces the river and the fire pit table is a nice touch. The unit was well equipped with what we needed. Although we chose to drive because there were not many people in town, you could easily walk to the main attractions. This property does have 2 flights of stairs (one from the parking area and another to the top floor). It wasn’t an issue for us but something to note if stairs are tricky for you. We would come back!

This is the second time we have stayed at “A Taste of Wine” and we love it! We enjoy sitting in the hot tub and watching the geese on the river. We grilled and sat out by the fire pit. It is always quiet and peaceful!

Condo was in the perfect location, everything was very clean and the hot tub was perfect. Will be staying again.

If you are looking for a nice, clean and safe place to stay in Helen, GA this is the spot. Everything was spotless and all the appliances were in excellent conditions. There was no need to reach the host other than to say thanks upon departure. We are going back next year.

This was the second time we stayed, enjoyed last year so much we returned!

This was a trip to celebrate our 49th Anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The condo has beautiful decor and was also festively decorated for the Holiday really putting us in the Christmas spirit. The location was perfect and everything was as represented in the listing. We had a cold snap so not able to spend time on the deck to enjoy the view of the river but it was really beautiful.

Great townhouse close enough to walk to get to downtown but far enough out that it was not overcrowded from all the people. If you have small children and intend to walk think about a stroller. Right on the river so hot tub and fire time was quiet and relaxing.

Perfect location. We could walk to downtown Helen and enjoy the river while sitting on the porch around the fire! Will definitely be back.

We chose Helen, GA as our destination for our "Golden Girls' Road Trip" to celebrate my sister's birthday. After browsing the photos representing "Taste Of Wine" On The Chattahoochee River & going through the reviews, we chose this place. Booking was easy, and communication with Dave was prompt, courteous and informative. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Tonya, who had just finished cleaning and preparing our condo ... and she was absolutely the kindest, sweetest and most helpful person we could've asked for. She went back inside with us and walked us through the entire unit, showing everything we might possibly need to know. She even shared her personal cell number -- should anything pop up that we might have questions about. Tonya keeps this place in pristine condition. EVERYTHING was clean, in perfect working order & well stocked with most anything needed! We spent every morning on the 1st floor deck -- overlooking the river and sitting around the fire-pit table -- with our coffee & baked goods from the local bakery ... and again in the evenings with our wine & charcuterie boards. During the day, we'd venture into town and have lunch (highly recommend Hofbrauhous Restaurant for the most authentic food & atmosphere, and Betty's Country Store for a little bit of EVERYTHING!). Then we'd end our day soaking in our personal hot tub. Our stay was absolutely perfect ... we came away with some beautiful memories, and hope to come back to our special place again!

This townhome is perfectly situated in a quieter area on the river with an easy (1/2 mile or so) walk to Main Street. The fireplace table on the back porch was the best spot in the house! We would absolutely stay here again.

The place was clean and as described. On the water and we walked to dinner every night. Enjoyed the water park that is really close to the condo.

Great spacious townhouse on the river. Next to tubing company. Close to downtown. Probably could walk there we just didn’t. Very quiet end of street. Loved it and hope to go back.
