Great stay exactly as described. Will definitely go back

1391 Pelican Watch Villa is a wonderful one-bedroom condo unit with fantastic beach access right out the back porch and down the boardwalk. The unit was very clean and all necessities were on hand. I relied on going out to nearby restaurants for all meals but the kitchen was adequately equipped if I had desired to cook. The only gripe I have is this unit is ground level and I could hear every footstep taking place in the unit directly above throughout my stay. It was mildly distracting on a couple of occasions, but only because we experienced a few rainy days during the week and had to be indoors. The beach access is wonderful and offers plenty of space for the small amount of folks staying in the Pelican Watch area. If you need to "get away" from your regular life and truly relax this condo will definitely provide!

Pleasantly surprised by the quiet location, and we loved being able to walk to the river directly from the unit. Perfect for our dog. Nice to have 2 full baths in this lovely one-bedroom unit. Our only disappointment was not being able to walk on the sand all the way around to the ocean side, because of the erosion.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Looking forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed condominium. It is located at the far end of Seabrook much closer to Kiawah river inlet and the beach is very private. Our only complaint was weather didn’t cooperate, but our stay was great.

We had a wonderful time at Seabrook! This was our third visit but our first stay at this property. It is beautiful! So well stocked and decorated. Thoughtful touches like nightlight’s. It was so easy to take our Yorkie for a walk just a few steps out of the villa. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

My husband and I had a perfect getaway. The property was everything we hoped it would be. The back porch is right at the boardwalk to the beach, and best of all we were able to bring our dog. We got to see the dolphins right along the beach on multiple occasions. I didn't realize the kitchen was as fully stocked as it was, which made cooking easy when we stayed in. And there was even firewood for a beach fire which we did on our last night. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We simply love Seabrook Island and 1391PW!! Over the course of the last 4 years, it's become our calm, sweet oasis and we hope to return each year for as long as is possible!! The views are simply stunning and the beach is fabulous! For the most part, it was extremely quiet during our stay this year and the whole experience was relaxing!! We LOVED that Seabrook Club did a Dogtober Pool get together while we were here, and that our labradoodle, Skye, got to participate. She enjoyed jumping in the pool and playing with other dogs (the pool was going to be drained for the year and that allowed doggies to enjoy it before doing so ---people brought bags of dogwood to be donated to Humane Society). THE only problems we had with the unit were that the dryer needed repeated uses in order to get clothes dry (something's up with it???), and the Wi-Fi seemed spotty. We got our iPhones connected, but our Skye's Whistle (which uses wifi) struggled some.....and my MacBook Pro would never connect to the Wifi (I've NEVER had problems with it anywhere before?!?!?) ---and some times it seemed the Wifi would cut out on my hubby's phone. It's ok as we aren't tied completely to our devices, but just a note that it could be a problem for someone who is more tied to internet. We LOVED the new TV's and decor.......TV's were much easier to utilize and enjoy!!

We loved the villa and location!! Sunsets from the deck were spectacular. Sunrises were a short trip down the beach via foot, bike or car. The dog friendly beach was the best we have experienced. This time of the year the beach was not crowded and being able to take the leash off for play time was wonderful. The management company was very helpful with information before and during our visit. The Villa was clean and nice. The smart TV allowed us to use our streaming apps which we enjoyed. Overall it was a spectacular experience!! And we had the bonus experience of witnessing dolphins strand feeding on the north end of the beach.

My family had a great time, always enjoy coming to Seabrook Island. The condo was excellent, very clean, with extra cleaning supplies, check in was simple and ready hours early, the staff were very communicative so we were prepared for the entire trip from reservation to check out. Also extremely pet friendly and easy access to the beach. Will definitely be staying with Coastal Getaways again.

Perfect location . Calming decor. Great to have two bathrooms - no waiting ! Enjoyed being close to the beach to walk our dog. - good location for sunset watching and watching the shrimp boats pass by. Have to keep an eye on the tide times as the beach mostly disappears at high tide.

Very nice, clean condo near the beach. It was a 2 minute walk across the sand dunes, no busy streets. Awesome experience.

Our condo had all of the most important things on my list: very clean, beautiful view, great outdoor seating, and comfortable simple furnishings. I loved sitting on the patio with coffee each morning. And every evening we sat on the beach with snacks and wine. Some days were chilly in late December, but some layering and socks did the trick. We had lovely walks on the beach. We rented bicycles that were delivered to our condo and really enjoyed the beautiful neighborhood and the trails that took us into Kiawah. Those miss covered trees! We would definitely return.

This is our 3rd year of staying at 1391 Pelican's Watch.....we love the location and the property. We look forward to visiting again in the future if possible!! We have figured out that if there's people staying above us, then there's lots of noise (my husband calls the sounds Elephant Like!!)---but we def understand there's little that can be done about that. We def appreciated the fan we found in the closet. Truly, the place is just perfect for us (other than for the noise from above). We appreciate the fact that we can bring our girl Skye (a labradoodle) and that Seabrook is welcoming to her/so dog friendly!! :)

Instruction in emails were clear and timely. The only thing I would complain about is the bed which needs to be replaced. Also getting the key from the lock box was a little confusing but mgmt team helped us quickly and resoved that issue. Overall would stay here again.

This was our 4th time visiting Seabrook Island all at Pelican Watch Villa. It’s hard to find anything nicer. Nature surrounding you everywhere. We had deer right outside our balcony. Daily dolphin sightings and loved the pelicans. Most shells that wash up are alive! This unit is very nice and provided everything we needed. We would rent again. Only suggestion is that the mattress in bedroom is showing it’s wear and should be replaced soon. Great experience

Great rental with easy access to the beach. Had every kitchen utensil that we needed and more. Can't wait to go back.

My wife and I really liked this condo. It was very pretty. The one thing I would like is to be able to lock the patio door to go down to the beach. We plan to book this again soon.

The home we stayed in for this visit was in a great location. We would definitely stay here again. We have been to Seabrook several times and have always had a great time.

This property and the island setting far exceeded my expectations. Seabrook Island is so very beautiful with the massive live oaks, palm trees and meticulous landscaping.. The private beach and the dunes were amazing, even had a deer pay an early morning visit.

Well, if I was to say “my wife wants me to buy it” that would sum up our stay.We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we spent Thanksgiving and we were surprised at all the supplies the kitchen had to offer. I had no problem with preparing our feast. Being pet friendly was a plus, especially the beach area. There were about a dozen dogs having a blast!. We have a hypoallergenic dogt because I am allergic to dogs so I am a little worried when I travelling staying in pet friendly rooms, but I had no repercussions from other pets, so I know it was clean.We both felt the Condo was decorated very nicely and the complex was quiet. Having beach chairs for us to use was great for sitting on the beach watching the sunsets. It is a unique location because you can actually almost get the sunrise and you get a perfect sunset. Suggestions from Nancy as to where to eat and get fresh seafood was great, we even brought some home with us. On Saturday afternoon 40’ from the porch a huge 10 point buck appeared out of nowhere and jumped over the walkway which leads to the beach, he disappeared into the brush, just not something you expect to see at 3pm… We had a very relaxing time and look forward to returning.Thank you for being available when we had questions.Gary, Jackie & Murphy
